Heroica RPG - Quest #116: The Tale of Two Faces
K-Nut replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
Althior sends an Ice Spell at Dog D from the back row as his Asp takes the Aepyornis. -
Again, this quest has also closed. you can currently sign into Quest #118 and The Fields of Glory, the latter of which is looking for some lower level heroes.

Heroica RPG - Expert Job Class Discussion
K-Nut replied to LEGOman273's topic in The Heroica Archive
Really liking the Weather Mage class. It's a nice twist with all the weather changes, but it fits nicely with Mage and Archmage. May have to look into getting Althior to be one. -
I'm pretty sure that's him around 1:28ish. Could be wrong though.

Eh, it's already online. I am super excited for this movie now. The darker tone already seems great. Ultron looks pretty good too. Not at all what I expected from him. EDIT: Also forgot to say how cool the Hulbuster looks. Plus is that Andy Serkis I see? Nice to know a little bit about what he's doing.

That's the only mining scale Groot I've seen that I haven't thought looked weirdly out of proportion. Nice job! all the special molded bits work really well.

Althior follows Hoke's lead and drops his Phoenix Incense in the Back Row. -
The Cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Yeah, I just really hate the Clone Wars faces. It pulls off the brooding look, but the CW faces just bother me. Also, I watched Angel on Netflix. It may be different for different countries, but I watched it at the same time as I did Buffy. -

Althior chuckles. Even this mighty knight was having troubles with these Beasts. He sends a Light Spell at the Unicorn from the Back Row as the Undead Asp attacks the Aepyornis. -
Looks fine to me. Cool that he goes together nicely with Scuba Bats.

Hook handed Aquaman would have been really cool (though using the trans blue one from the old Alpha Team line works just as well), but I think it's hard to make Flash look like anyone else with the design they've gone with. I'm a die-hard Barry Allen fan, but I can see the current one being used as Wally West. Really the only thing I think that could improve Flash right now is Boots, but we've had that discussion a couple times already. Otherwise, I'm happy with him.

These are basically my thoughts on it too. I like to be an Ether tank with all the ether Undead attacks suck up, but I don't feel like sacrificing that much HP for it. Please, the whole Karie-Violetta-Sorrow family tree is messy as is. Don't make it any worse!

The Cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
K-Nut replied to Sandy's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Buffy and Angel are honestly two of my favorite TV shows I've watched, and I absolutely love the figs you've made. Only one I'm not sure of is Angel at the moment. I currently use the 2012 Bruce Wayne head, but I think the Hobbit version of Legolas' head works too. Andrew and Jonathan look spot on, as does Ben and Glory. I can't believe I haven't tried that Torso for Spike, though. Have you watched Angel? I'd really like to see you try your hand at some of those characters, too. -

The Undead Asp attacks the Bear. "Keep attacking the Snake, Benji. My little friend here will take out the Bear," -

"Unless you need my expertise elsewhere, I'll see about having a go at that wall there," Althior attempts to expend one ether to block the hole using his Garnet, spending his turn this round. Meanwhile, the Undead Asp attacks the Panicked Python. -
Wigs are often used to cover up something embarrassing, so I'm guessing something more like this: Incompetent Watchman by day, badass Alchemist by night.

"Makes sense to me. Venom's affecting my logic a bit," Althior redirects his undead asp to Dog B -

Althior drinks the potion slowly. It had been a while since he'd taken a hit like that. He continues to repeat his action as his undead snake attacks the Aepyornis. -
Picked up the entire new line of Hobbit sets minus The Lonely Mountain. Plus it came with 2x VIP Points and the bonus Christmas set to go with Santa's Workshop when I get it.

I've seen a couple of your pictures on Flickr from time to time. Lots of nice stuff on there. Nice to have you on the boards!

I thought the Tiger set would have been as expensive as Cragger's Boat was, so it's nice to see it's a bit cheaper. Definitely picking that one up.

Althior chuckled. Back in Eubric, back to the simple things, he thought. He fires a Light Spell at the Unnerved Unicorn from the back row. "Jeez, who let the dogs out?" Finnegan looks around, suspiciously. Is there a reason that the Winged Sandals in the loot are listed as an Accessory and not Footwear? It's the same thing in Benji's stats, and I could've sworn they were Footwear. -

Althior follows. "Do we have any 'witnesses' at the Observatory or Marketplace?" I'm a bit swamped this weekend, so if I can't seem to post for something important, UsernameMDM can control Althior's actions. I should be fine from Sunday on. -

Stats look good. Thanks for having me! Althior looks to the man speaking to them. Even this single officer from the watch seemed to be as incompetent as the rest. Why did he agree to embark on this mission again? At least it had nothing to do with sucking up to the houses in power this time. He turns to face his companions "Benji Carvenhall, it's been a while. It's a wonder the watch took us back after our last 'adventure' we share together. Haven't seen you in a while either, Hoke. It's been, what, three years since the journey into the cave? I see you're still carrying around the same sword with you, though." He then turned back to the Detective. "Hoples is it? I was under the impression that you were to select who would lead us," He stated to the fidgety watchman. He turned back to the rest of his party. "I don't care who's party leader, personally. If either of you feel obligated to leave, I would have no problems with it." He then looked back to his employer. "So tell me, Detective Hoples, what exactly do you know of what we're hunting down? From what you posted in the hall it sounded like it was some sort of raging monster. Someone should have some knowledge of it at this point," -
"I was hoping it would be" For the first time, he looked back to the Skirmisher, "I warned you then and I'll warn you again now. We do not, in our line of business, have time for meaningful relations like that. It seems we both learned it the hard way," He nods. "If there's one thing I hate the most about this damned city, it's those sniveling cowards over at the watch. Them with their damned sense of 'justice', hell, they have no idea what the word means. Hell, I've sided with the Wolfgang just to shove it in old Patricia's face," Finnegan clear his throat as the Necromancer turns back, unaware that the aura had accompanied him. Figures he'd be crawling at his feet. "Well, not just. Gotta get out of the damned hall for a little bit though," He turned back to Arthur, raising his hand. "Dwarf you say? About this tall?" "Pftt... Aren't they all?" Althior scoffed. "I know of whom you speak. He was on this last mission I was. Got so damned sick of the party he decide to abandon us and follow his own path. I heard he got skewered in half in the woods too. Serves the bugger right. Sometimes I wish the Veterans would lift their damn spell from time to time. Helps people realize their mistakes and gets rid of the more annoying types." He looked to the cold expression on the Skirmisher's face. "Gotta give him some credit though. All newbie heroes are rash and arrogant. Even us at Brobic Fort, my 'apprentice', were exactly like him one day." He pauses. "Well, not exactly like him," The Necromancer's head shot up at the mention of the Oculoid's. "So I'm not the only one those bastards have tormented. You end up meeting this so-called Regret? They said I was a lot like that thing they worshipped. I should pay them no attention, though. Talking about Lifespark's and Progg's and mere myths. Insane things," He leans over to Portia's shack, buying 8 Meads and 4 Nostrums. (140+120=260).
