Guys, for those who were sad that we are getting different style of Hogwarts sets and remake of Great Hall and are possessed with dream of having movie accurate minifigure scale Hogwarts castle, I have something for you. I made 3D model of Hogwarts castle layout from all sets including the new ones in studio program. This is my vision, my plan how to connect them all once I will have all Hogwarts sets. Whille making this I tried to find balance between movie accuracy and ideal placement for each different buildings so obviously not eveything is in exact same position as in movies (Clock Tower should be behind Great Hall and face opposite). It took me about 3 days to build everything up and to find the best layout. Honestly I was really suprised (in a good way) how compatibile new sets were with 2018-2020 ones. I am not a fan of changing official sets so I also did almost no customizations except changing big roof parts in new sets for dark bluish grey ones and that way those sets look amazing. After I made this model I am 100% decided to buy new sets and I started to like them more. I even found the way how to use that new Great Hall remake while not breaking consistency of entire layout. I cant wait to make this with real sets and I hope you will find maybe some inspiration in this. This layout is made in a way that it is best looking from the front but also from the sides so backside should be hidden. Obviously it is not very space friendly and specialy not something for those who display their sets on smaller shelves..... I still have to figure out where and how to place Chamber of Secrets and find the way how to lift up entire castle....oh and somehow I forgot about Room of Requirement :D When june sets release I will post updated version of this as I wasnt able to finish tower from COS set due to new window piece which isnt in the piece database yet.

Exactly, every set had weak room in terms of interior, 2018 Great Hall had bland tower, Clock Tower had nothing in entrance room, Astronomy tower had decent rooms but nothing crazy... overall 2018-2020 line had very decent interiors. With this wave its wery similar as COS set has blad Great Hall interior but amazing rooms in tower section. Clock Tower had also very detailed Hospital wing, Dumbledores office and prefect bathroom yet you put it almost at the bottom of the list which is rather weird...its not the best but definetely in top 3-4. Maybe new sets have bigger rooms but in terms of details they have the same amount of them if not less.

Yeah it is and it even has a blackboard sticker with unforgivable curses, very accurate... and then some people say 2018-2020 interiors were weak, no they werent, its just now we are blinded by all the newness of 2021 sets.

Honestly even though so many leakers confirmed this I still cant believe Lego would make such a bad D2C set so I hope everyone was wrong and by some miracle it turns out to be something minifigure scale set...although most likely it is that collection of buildable items :/

If actual reboot is happening and that means we will be getting a many remakes from now I might stop collecting this theme because I dont see any reason to continue then. I thought they had still many new ideas what to do in years to come but it seems like they are going full on star wars way... sad. Seriously if next year they will come with green roof Clock Tower, Hagrids hut, Hogwarts Express I am done with this theme. I get that at some point they had to do this for younger generations but I thought it would be in like 5 years and not 3.

So this basically confirms that they wont return to 2018-2020 style with dark bluish grey roofs :(

Yeah thanks. I will try to make it as movie accurate as possible with minimum customization. I have to figure out where an how should I place Chamber of Secrets because it might not fit under 2018 Great Hall that well.

Oh okay thanks man, so I will make them by instructions and create my own Hogwarts layout

How do you add existing Lego HP sets to stud.io. to do this?

Guys I want to share with you my idea for connecting new Hogwarts sets with 2018-2020 line. Obviously it looks how it looks because I dont know how to use photoshop so I just did it in painting app but it works for basic layout plan here. I will move Chamber of Secrets under 2018 Great Hall and I will use smaller 2021 Great Hall as Long Gallery. Picture doesnt include huge rock foundation which I will have to build for almost every building. Oh and I will change big green parts for grey ones but otherwise I dont plan to make any other customizations.

Nah 2018-2020 sets were great for both exterior and interior display. This wave has average interior or same as 2018-2020 line at best. Fluffy set has almost no interior, COS set has very poor Great Hall interior but other rooms are decent. Only disappointing interior from 2018-2020 line I can think about is Great Staircase tower but otherwise all sets had amazing interiors.

Yeah Slovak prices are extra €10 on Hogsmeade and COS... other sets seem to cost same like in other countries

Yeah same with euros, it should be less but its 149.99€... so it means leaked prices were in pounds I guess

What is strange about it? We have known the prices for very long time

Even though its anniversary set, it reminds me of that 2018 Hogwarts style which is a good thing

It is completely different exclusive minifigure. He has white hair and his torso and legs are more orange than red version from 2018. So it means we have like 6 Dumbledores already, thats great.

I am sad too and I dont think they will ever return to 2018 style. I am definetely planing to moc them to fit with my 2018 layout.

These sets arent officialy revealed by Lego and yet they are 100% confirmed by now because we have pictures leaked lol
