Lego City 2023 Leaks, Rumours, Speculation And Discussion
Jiesdeo replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
I'm a bit hoping that 60394 ATV and Otter Habitat is a precursor to a Park Ranger type of mid-year City theme. With bears, deer and more animal molds. -
Such a sad state of affairs that we are forced to be content with the scraps from other sets when it comes to Pirates stuff... Especially for Imperials.

The CMF series 24 will apparently contain a 18th century noblewoman with white makeup and powdered wig and all. There will also be a new falcon mold with another figure (Black Falcon falconer) that could be useful.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Jiesdeo replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Is it this one used by Brick Clicker? If so, I think it's just a MOC. It's a bit disingenuous by him not to note that in his videos. -
I agree, and to a transport sticker pack I would add bus stop signs and bus time tables. I think the one you showed (of which I have 8) had transit maps and train departure/arrival time screens, but I would also like to have more train station signage, like the like platform signs included in 60335 (I can't understand why there's only two resellers of that one on Bricklink). Also the same type of stuff for airports too. And of course more street signs. A more extensive retail sticker pack would be nice as well, like for a clothing store, record store, music store, electronics store, perfume shop, candy shop, furniture store, interior design shop, home goods store, etc, etc.... ETA: and a culture sticker pack: Different types of museums, concert venues, art galleries, amusement parks, zoos, hotels. Maybe with additional information signs for the museums exhibits and for the animals at the zoo.

Maybe even some new instrument moulds? A trumpet? A bass? -

With only 3 posts, I'm going to take this with a huge grain of salt. -
First look at new Gift With Purchase Set: Ray the Castaway

Hmm, nice set, but no seagull in the Lego version... less interesting then. -
I wanted to create a thread for 2023 Creator 3-in-1 rumours and leaks, but I forgot to change 2022 to 2023 when copying the old title. How do I change the title? Nevermind, found it.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
Jiesdeo replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
It looks like 2023 will be a cheap City year for me. It sadly seems like Lego trying out interesting sets like the school, the grocery store etc. was a dud amongst the kids, and now they're going back to the safe emergency/first responders themed sets. (Stupid kids, they're ruining Lego. ..../s) -
With the inclusion of the cow in the Lion Knight's Castle as well as the fact that 10193: Medieval Market Village was included on the box, what do you think the chances are that there could be a remake of MMV in the future? Maybe the rebranding of Creator Expert to Lego Icons opens up for re-releases of old iconic sets?

Galaxy Squad had some of the most creative and ingenuitive designs of any space theme.

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Jiesdeo replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I got a message from Lego.com about my shipment being prepared, but the message made it sound like it was being shipped from North America. I'm in Sweden so that feels a bit weird.- 2,976 replies

I think the dark red epaulettes on the bellhop are exclusive. -

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion

Yeah I would assume so. Which is sad, it was nice to get something else than the standard police- and fire stations. The set was underwhelming though, maybe kids thought so too. -

10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
Jiesdeo replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
If including more female minifigs in sets increases the chances of girls getting interested in regular Lego sets as well instead of just Friends, then I gladly compromise on historical accuracy. Otherwise, I agree with the sentiment that a toy doesn't have to be historically accurate.- 2,976 replies

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
Jiesdeo replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Yes. If these are to replace the people packs, I specifically object to the notion that they are connected to themes (uniformed themes in particular). The over-saturation of uniformed minifigures is bad as it is right now. People packs should be a way to populate your city with other minifigs than uniformed figures. -
Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
Jiesdeo replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
If that's the case I think it would be a shame. What appealed to me about the People Packs were that you got a nice variety of normal folks, not police, firemen etc. Regular citizens are so rare in sets overall. I already have too many Wildlife Rescue torsos and Police torsos anyway. -
My guess is somewhere around those lines too. Lego suggests sets based on available parts in stock and they then gauge the interest among the VIP-customers. If enough members are interested, they produce the set.
