  1. I've already seen it on an auction site for 500€ here in Sweden. It's been out of stock everywhere for at least 4-5 months here.
  2. Do they usually only do one town-style Creator building per year? I'm only a year out of my dark ages so I haven't been keeping track. The Creator buildings are often more satisfying to build compared to City sets. Better parts to strip for other builds too. And clear windows, not blue.
  3. I doubt it will be as good. A lot of the pieces will probably go to a vehicle too as usual with City sets.
  4. 31131: Noodle Shop will be 569 pieces 31132: Viking Ship and Midgard Serpent will be 1192 pieces
  5. Yeah, It's my favourite too!
  6. Oh same here. But I like to buy and build anyway, and then use it for parts and stickers like you said.
  7. I can recommend the hospital. That was a very nice build and it felt like an actual building.
  8. The Friends High School is a much more complete school (with cafeteria) and in the US it's $10 cheaper(!) than the City School. It's somehow the reverse in Euro according to BL, so Friends sets seems to be extremely cheap in the US. The RRP for the High School is $59.99 in the US, while here in Sweden it costs the equivalent of $99, which is just crazy.
  9. Crows or ravens would have been really good in the haunted houses we've been getting. They could have been used in Hidden Side as well. It would have added to the appeal for that theme.
  10. That headpiece might be useful as well. Maybe for a nun?
  11. Isn't that the logo for the newspaper? Since there are papers below it and a price of 0.99. Wow, 60326: Picnic in the Park is already sold out on Lego.com here in Sweden.
  12. Yes, it's strange because there is a neon yellow stripe that the sticker could have continued and made a less abrupt end.
  13. I don't even know what the point of that sticker is? Just some detailing?
  14. I agree with Yperio_Bricks that Lego probably have taken inspiration from a lot of different hotels and it's not a perfect match or anything, but Carlton Hotel has a slight angle in one corner, the tower dome is very similar, and even the palm trees around it look like the one in the set with the rougher trunk.
  15. Could it have been inspired by the Carlton Hotel in Cannes perhaps? At least the corner and the tower.
  16. It would be fun if the homage was that the art gallery had art pieces that pictured old modulars.
  17. They should mould it in dark nougat or something to get an Akita inu instead.
  18. Yes, there has been a serious lack of civilians in Pirates sets. The only ones I can remember were in the Imperial Trading Post (not counting a couple of Governor's daughters).
  19. Just to add... Maybe Barracuda Bay being discontinued is due to logistics. It has a lot of special parts like the cannon and the ship's pieces and the parts they have in storage is not enough for a new wave of the set and producing a full new batch is too expensive. Maybe that's why we're getting these VIP packs as well. To get rid of the spare cannons and other parts they still have. Maybe I'm a bit negative, they could be discontinuing PoBB to make room for a full new line of Pirates as well. But I don't have any faith in Lego with regards to Pirates so I don't see that happening. I would love to be wrong, though.
  20. Yeah I agree, It feels mad that it would retire already.
  21. Is it though? It was recently rumored to be retired already this year.
  22. So what does this mean for any hope for future Pirates themed sets? My fear is that this is Lego clearing out their Pirate related parts and that we won't see anything for the foreseeable future.
  23. 4440: Forest Police Station (https://brickset.com/sets/4440-1/Forest-Police-Station) was such a great set.
  24. I.e. the Black Falcon knights.
