  1. Anyone mind private messaging me the image of the back of the instruction manual please? I can't seem to find it on Instagram anywhere. Edit: Never mind, I found it (from Codyleaks lol). Wow, that really is terrible.
  2. He didn't say that. (reference to an American Psycho meme, for those who haven't seen that gag before) I will continue to bet against the Avengers Tower. I know patterns aren't always reliable, but I don't believe we have ever had a theme with two minifig scale sets more than 250$, especially two that have relatively similar uses, even while being quite different. And an Avengers Tower that isn't modular would be a massive misstep for lego, while a modular one would compete with the Sanctum--I know I probably wouldn't be able to get both. I don't really know, it just seems like it won't happen.
  3. Maybe Cobb? Honestly, I don't love the Mandalorian circlejerk or the show itself very much, but honestly, I think we're kind of underselling the market here, and how well this set could do. I would be willing to argue that it's the best received piece of Star Wars content since Return, other than maybe, maybe, TFA on opening week. Sure, the shows and PT have gained popularity due to Reddit, but they probably don't appeal quite enough to Gen X as a whole to really justify massive, 400+ dollar sets. If the Falcon has appeal to non AFOLs, the Razor Crest almost certainly does too. The only real concern would be that it was destroyed, but even then, it still featured heavily enough in the first season that it would probably outweigh the fact that it was destroyed, and I can't imagine someone deciding not to get it simply due to it's unfortunate fortune.
  4. Yeah, I just found the list. What I am sort of curious about is though is how much of a sure thing this is. I'm not positive that it is a guarantee in all countries, but that may just be because I used google translate, and that's never too accurate.
  5. Where is this coming from? I haven't found the source of the list.
  6. Okay, that's quite cool as well. I'm unsure I'll get it, but the Inquisitor's shuttle is a pretty solid build as well. Do you think these were what was planned to be revealed at Star Wars Celebration? Also, I may be jumping the gun, but based off of these first two sets, the build quality is a vast improvement from last year. They aren't quite the same, but the shuttle blows the Havoc Marauder and Gideon's cruiser completely out of the water.
  7. Well this is what, about a week earlier than usual? Not bad, although I doubt the rest of the wave leaks today. It looks pretty good. The cockpit is still a little high, but I'll probably get this one if I get the chance, I've always wanted this ship (and the last one was a little large). The figures are nice, Taun We looks good as expected, but I'd like to take a moment and say that that Obi Wan is really quite impressive, a solid figure as a whole.
  8. Does anyone know if you get the GWP if you preorder something? Forestmen are sort of my favorite faction, so this would be a good excuse to get them, but it unfortunately comes out like four days before the next wave I want, and I'm willing to bet it will have sold out by then.
  9. Do any of the reviews of the Shrieking Shack show it next to Hogsmeade Village Visit? A bit of an odd question, but I'm sort of curious how it fits in with those two, as they were fairly clearly designed to go together.
  10. You know, I don't particularly think Omega needs a new mold either, but I have seen a fair few people saying so. Then again, I also see people saying we need new molds for almost every character we get, so maybe this was not the exception. Also, why was LEGOCon so unpopular last year again? I see a lot of commenters bringing it up, and I sort of remember hearing that it was particularly glitchy, which isn't great, but also seems a little unwarranting of the hate and bad name puns. Wasn't there something about how people were really mad that they officially revealed the summer wave but not the gunship or something?
  11. I think there are a couple things that got glossed over from the Q&A, here are a couple: --We should see the sets by the end of the month, or at least they predict that we will --NED will have a new mold --The clones will have the same printing style as the 2020 ones, and the helmet looks quite similar to the old one --Kenobi and Vader are based off of Kenobi, which I think we knew --Inquisitor does not have his helmet --Pretty much everything about the Cad Bane is new, and other than the hat, it sounds like a solid figure. The lack of arm printing doesn't really bother me, although it would be nice in that set --The Justifier has a solid build, but it's not an amazing set because of the price and figs--This actually excites me. I dislike the price, but if the build is good, I might actually get it, considering it's gonna be about the scale of a Falcon --The Kenobi diorama does not look very good, sort of a pile of gray bricks --Omega, Fennec, and Darth Vader have arm printing --Taun We looks pretty good --There is sort of an implication Omega does not have a new mold, but that may be reading between the lines when there is nothing there There is a high chance I got something wrong or repeated something from earlier, so you can correct me if there is a mistake. I'm getting pretty psyched for this wave, really. The AT-TE is a definite buy if it looks good, so I'm pretty sold on that. The starfighter is a maybe--I have always wanted one, but I haven't gotten a set of that size for a while. I'm leaning towards the Justifier if I can find it cheap, it actually sounds pretty cool, provided it has a reasonable interior. I'm leaning towards a no on the Kenobi sets, they just don't sound particularly fascinating, but the Scythe could be cool.
  12. I'm quite hyped for a new '89-92 Batmobile, and getting a new Keaton and Flash figure certainly cannot hurt, particularly considering their bricklink prices. The big thing I hope for is really a new mold for the cockpit. I quite like the GWP design, but the windshield is just not accurate, and I haven't found an MOC (is it an MOC or a MOC?) that both looks accurate and allows for Batman to fit in there. I don't believe any of the current part selection would really work, so that may be the best solution.
  13. The thought has suddenly occurred to me that since the 212th troopers have printed hips, then that almost certainly means that the style is pretty solidly getting revamped again. I'm sure many of you already had noticed that, but I just realized it, and I have noticed a lot of people hoping that they are not too different from the old ones.
  14. That I know of, there are two: The more reliable one is @NoOneOfImportance, who I don't believe has had many major scoops, but he's been pretty accurate with his stuff in the past, not to mention seems fairly credible--you know, keeps track of all upcoming leaks on Instagram, moderately well established, and comes off as an all around nice guy. The original, but less reliable source is Republic Studs (NOT Republic Bricks, that guy is much worse), who is rather controversial. I don't watch many of his videos, but I pay attention to the major players on Instagram, and he comes off as a bit of a jerk and a bigot. He is sort of MandR taken to the max, plus he uses a lot of the clickbait tactics--just take a look at the thumbnails for his videos.
  15. I honestly think there's a decent chance that the Justifier ends up being an amazing set--I know build quality hasn't been as high as it has in the past, but there is still a possibility it ends up really cool. It's random and on the obscure side, but it is a pretty neat looking ship, and could go well with some of the other builds. On the other hand, it is vastly overpriced to the point of almost being unbuyable, so if I did get it, it would have to be discounted.
  16. Hmmm, what did they imply? Also, I finally actually read the Promobricks article, and I noticed two things. Firstly, it may simply because the article is translated, but the article does not explicitly say that the regular troopers come with the new helmet, only Cody, although I doubt that they would not use it on the other ones. Secondly, the character wearing a beige jacket and with a receding hairline sounds quite a lot like General Draven, but I don't have much of a guess on the other character. Melshi maybe?
  17. Actually, this makes me wonder: are we really sure Lego intends to celebrate the 10th anniversary of super heroes? I mean they did the Batman anniversary three years ago, and the Infinity Saga is a moderately similar concept. Can we really know that they will go through with what they did for the other themes?
  18. Hear me out: a quotes set with the line "This is why Superman works alone."
  19. Changing the style of the modules is certainly weird, to be honest, I'll give you that, not to mention the price bit, but I'm unsure how I feel on the rest of this. Saying that "This feels like a slap in the face to everyone who's been keeping up with the theme, especially the helmet," sort of reminds of when the 501st battle pack came out and people were upset that the new clones were different from the old clones. Is it a reasonable complaint? Of course, it's gonna look a little weird. On the other hand, it's also reasonable for LEGO to change a helmet that gets complained about a lot to an arguably better variant, and I don't think it's entirely fair to say that it is "[F]or no real reason." I am curious how the new and old helmets line up with each other, considering they are really not particularly different, this one is simply a little better.
  20. A miniscule amount of trolling, as it would seem. That being said, this reveal certainly is not being as drawn out as some have been, there are a few that have taken quite a while, maybe even like a whole month since leaking, although that's a bit of a different scenario.
  21. The Brick Clicker and JB Spielwaren countdowns on Instagram. They have begun, a bit slowly, but there are certainly new things being put up.
  22. We should be getting the reveal in about half an hour or so, right?
  23. No kidding, it makes being on Lego pages on Instagram and Reddit insufferable. Also, what do you wanna bet we don't see anything revealed tomorrow from Jb Spielwarren but maybe get the whole summer wave later this month? I don't think any of the summer sets were officially revealed last year till Lego Con, if I remember correctly, but they leaked pretty early on in the year.
  24. Is reveal time 10 minutes from now, or 50 minutes ago? I can never remember.
