It would seem to be Codyleaks, so in other words, it’s utter BS. For anyone who doesn’t religiously follow the SW leaning community, this guy’s main thing is that he says a Commander Cody polybag will be the May the fourth promo, which is about as likely as a D2C Umbridge kitten broach.

On the subject of Grimmauld place, I was sort of thinking it probably could be done pretty well at like a 100 dollar price point based off of that Sanctum Sanctorum showdown set. The apartment half of the building is probably about 50 dollars on its own, so adding another story, making it a bit deeper on the back and giving it more of a front, and a transforming method could really make it look pretty solid at how much we’re assuming it costs.

Can I ask what’s going on with Promobricks and the other big leakers? I know there have been a few fake leakers here and there, but I’ve seen both of them post a bunch of things about people complaining about fake rumors. Was there some huge backlash I missed or something, or some sort of big thing that’s going on?

That is a high piece count increase over the previous ones. I doubt a dwarf spider droid is going to single-handedly do that, and considering the price of it, I think there’s a reasonable possibility of a curveball being thrown in there….NOT CODY, but something weird.

Do we think Fulcrum’s reference towards “purple stuff” is a reference to the Purple Clones? I think there’s a good chance it’s something totally different, but I can’t think of anything else related to purple that has leaked lately.

I will be casting my bet now: No Professor X in the Sanctum. Considering that we saw the villains in NWH’s trailer, and we still haven’t gotten them, there’s almost no way we get X.

You know, memes aren’t usually a good indicator of an individual, but the fellow who leaked the force ghost piece’s memes are so bad that I think he’s probably bs, and I’m being 78% serious here. Just looking at his account now, I don’t think it’s even remotely worth taking him seriously.

I’ve got something of an odd question—I wasn’t sure if it fit here, but I think if solved it would definitely be useful for updated characters. I was sort of thinking of a way to make better clones—either updating them or finding cheaper ways to make them. Given that it’s one of the few that hasn’t been done in the new style, I started by looking at the old Star Corps troopers and trying to figure out how I could update it into the new style. I remembered that there was a weirdly printed 212th trooper that looked more yellow than orange and decided to check it out, which is where things got a bit odd. Both the old Star Corps trooper and the 2013 212th had bright light orange parts on them, at least according to Bricklink. Is the old one overexposed? Is Bricklink wrong? Has Lego updated their color pallet so much it looks that different?

The original source of the rumor, Greekbricks, has stated that the Mace Windu in the set will come from the gunship, so I suppose that answers our question. He also said the set will be larger than the previous but smaller than the first, and probably will have a purple color scheme.

Apparently it will come in May, according to FF.

I gotta ask since I forgor , when do we usually get the full set list? I mean we’ve got about half the wave known as of now, what time last year did everything leak?

I doubt New Asgard will ever happen as more than like a 30$ set, much less a D2C. I think it’s possible we see a just regular Asgard 300$ set down the line, but I’m not sure it has the general appeal a tower would, especially considering this will probably be the biggest Marvel set of all time.

Honestly, seeing it, it looks pretty good. That being said, that Miek is the most megablucked up thing I’ve ever seen. I’m sure the pieces there are enough to make it look good, but it’s just so freaky looking.

So….uhhhh…Fulcrum just posted a photo of Korg and Miek. I know their reputation has taken a bit of a hint, but I’m starting to get a bit concerned about the accessory pack at this point… update: Fulcrum took it down. The plot thickens!

On the subject of Grimmauld place, I think the best solution would be one that has a neat function that actually is useful, like you can have it set up with 1 building or 3 buildings for space, kind of like that famous micro scale one.

So did the Promobricks hint play out to anything, or was it specifically Ninjago? I haven’t seen any references to it either way since then.

I could very easily be wrong, but I think that the guy that posted it said it was a render of a leak and not the real thing, and haven’t some people said there’s a possibility of that?

I doubt that, if this is real, I’d for the Dagobah set. We know the fig selection already and Obi Wan wasn’t there. That being said, I’ve been wrong a fair bit lately. Actually going back through the films, there are only like 4 places where force ghosts appear, right? Twice on Dagobah, at Endor, and in RoS. Sooo….IF this is real AND it’s not used in Dabobah, THEN I would be more likely to believe an Endor set may be in development AT SOME POINT. BUT, I’m still not totally inclined to believe that it would be, it would just lend an entirely unconfirmed theory a tiny bit of credence.

Thanks. I suppose that would track. I don’t think almost any theme other than SW has gotten this many D2Cs in a year, so I suppose one could also release in December instead of one of the 1HY ones, I think that’s usually how they do it. I’m really unsure of what we’re gonna see today from Promobricks, it’s not super common to reveal a single non D2C set’s info, unless of course, it is the 500$ one.
