So far, which Disney 100 set numbers that are yet to be released are non- princess (non-minidolls)?

I feel bad for Lego if they are just blindly following instructions from Disney… hold off on the Snow White Ideas set (til movie release and base it off from that)… feature the Little Mermaid remake (instead of the classic)… etc. Isn’t there a saying that if you ask directions from the village idiot, you’ll never get to where you’re going. Lol AFOLS want classics they grew up with!

Apart from the minifigs which obviously has recolors of some Vidiyo parts, I wonder if this set overall has any new part (probably not), or new color of an existing part.

The bad thing about it is that the theme may be branded as a "fail" at Lego. The idea of a Little Mermaid set is great. The idea of small sets based on a remake is great. The idea of a Little Mermaid D2C 18+ set, even if expensive (think Rivendell) is not necessarily bad. But an expensive D2C for older kids and adults that is based on a yet-to-be-released remake is quite... adventurous for Disney and Lego. Folks clamoring for the original are still 'left out'. But perhaps Disney was already sure that the upcoming remake will *definitely be a box office hit*. Yes, a set does not have to be big, grand and expensive for it to be great, and much wanted.

Hopefully, you have not been silenced here forever. Good point on waiting for a discount! I might get this set but do away with the minifigs and substitute the old CMF ones, plus a custom Triton. Will get rid of those choking fish, too. LOL. Come to think of it, they are probably getting the most use out of those orphaned Vidiyo moulds. I am hoping Lego is done messing with sets. Okay, perhaps that Peter Pan will end up being based off of the remake again. So the upcoming castle is looking like it will contain princesses in their formal gowns, especially if Ariel will be in there in her dress?

Large, expensive D2C sets that do not really resonate with the target audience. The curse of the Black Panther bust and UCS Hulkbuster. LOL

And perhaps that is why they 'stopped' that Ideas set?

I have real mixed feelings about this set. On the one hand it is a Little Mermaid "castle" but it is based out of a remake that I did not grow up watching. First they make a nice castle with minidolls, then they make one minifig based but on the 'wrong' movie! LOL Exactly!!! Really hope that Lego is reading this!!! Per request from Disney? As marketing for the upcoming movie? For purposes of inclusion and diversity? Are they holding off on releasing Snow White til 'later' because they will base it out of the upcoming movie and not the classic??? Dear Lego, please, please, please... give use classics!!!

I think that as it is, this set has too many stickers to be considered 'premium' or for AFOLs. Way too many stickers. I think perhaps Lego was testing the waters with this release. Wouldn't it be too soon to re-release this? Maybe the Airship as a next release?

Just got my Up House and the Disney Anniversary Train. I order the Up House without having watched the film, as I like most things Disney. LOL Just watched the film last night. Now, I do wonder why Kevin was not included in that set.

Is there an existing monkey mould that can be used for this? I feel like Lego will either re-use existing minidoll line moulds or vice versa. So far, I don't mind. Little Mermaid and Moana companions seem to work.

If they cannot manage to give us a full blown Sleeping Beauty Castle, they could at least make it in micro scale form and give us Briar Rose... It would be nice to have these micro scales lined up in a skyline and with their corresponding CMFs on display with them!

My fear is that Disney will greatly slow down on producing sets with minifigs in favor of the minidolls line after the 100th celebrations... I am going to throw a fit if that Snow White cottage is not made, or even made as a minidoll set! Maybe the sultan, because he has few chances of being included in some other set/ series???

Just saw Brick Clicker's video, and you are right! So the guessing game is on, as to which minifig is gonna feature there!!! I really would not mind if Lego kept producing a lot more of these micro builds with an exclusive minifig - they could possibly be displayed in a lineup just like a Disney skyline!!! Definitely going to get this then, whichever minifig they decide to include.

I too, am hoping that the Little Mermaid palace and Agrabah are minifig sets and NOT minidolls. However, I could see why Disney would make it with minidolls as they have made that Ice Castle, and the two mentioned above fit perfectly well in that series. Not gonna buy any, if indeed minidolls.

Someone earlier said it is listed under the minidolls line. If this is wrong and it turns out to be a minifig set, then I will buy it. I think we can use and customize the Ocean King from an earlier CMF into King Triton.

Brick Clicker mentioned on a recent video that a Lego employee was fired for leaking some sets. Dunno if that purge was related to that big leak.

Nah, I'd rather wait for a MOC or several years down the line when Disney actually makes it under the minifig theme. Thanks for the suggestions though. This new minidoll set 43215 - I wonder which hairpieces will be re-used for minifigs. I notice that the Mulan, Pocahontas and Moana minidoll hairpieces were reused from the Disney 100 minifigs.

Wanted to buy the ice castle for the build but the mini dolls just turned me off! Lol

I am hoping Lego would release in minifig form all the Disney princesses that have come out already as mini dolls.

If you google X-Men 97 Wolverine, the costume has some blue elements in it (boots, gloves, etc). I'm thinking the CMF Wolverine will be based out of this costume, as we've never had it before.

I used to get all my complete CMF sets from an eBay seller. But he jacked up the price to 109.99 for a complete Disney 100 set. With poor sales, it’s now down to 99/ set. Ordered mine instead from an online retailer who’s charging 89+. I think I won’t go back to that eBay guy.
