Wasn’t Rivendell revealed to the LAN at an in-person event many months prior to it’s official reveal? Given Barad dur is releasing in June, then some people ought to know by now how this set looks???

Does Lego destroy moulds because they are not planning on making those parts anymore, or because of licensing issues? Say a mould is exclusive to a character, and the theme has ended production and the part cannot be reused for another character?

You only have to look at the sad case of the Disney castle… The original castle had 7 minifigs, if you count the two statues, and overall, only 4 exclusive. The second version had 8 minifigs, so a total net gain of only 1. And only 5 exclusive (so far). Knowing Lego, there will probably be a lot of repeats for the mansion. I want the Mansion to be successful and I am really looking forward to it, but also interested in knowing how much love Lego is willing to put into this theme.

I know it is still quite early as we have not even seen a leak of this Barad-dur set yet... but I wonder if Lego is indeed planning on the next set for next year? Weren't they already planning Barad-dur this time last year, or earlier? So if they release another LOTR set in 2025, I wonder if it will be another location, perhaps related to ROTK? And I wonder if this will be a pattern where it will be one big D2C every year? Will they focus just on the first three movies or include The Hobbit movies in their rotation of themes?

How do I recover my money from an online order that I made which was not shipped out by the manufacturer, and also report this merchant? Last October, I ordered some minifugure display frames (hint, hint) from an online retailer, which I believe is based out of Barcelona. It is, at least at that time, reputable as they have been featured in multiple blogs by Lego influencers. They did disclaim that orders do take longer because of them being manufactured by hand, but it has been almost SIX months! I have sent the manufacturer at least THREE emails with no reply in the past 3 weeks. They did not allow PayPal payments at that time but I thought I did pay through PayPal so I waited this long (two weeks left to exactly six months). I paid through SHOP using my credit card and the direct credit card charge dispute has lapsed (my CC only allows disputes within 60 days). Anyway, I filed a case at SHOP. I am based in the USA. Is there an online agency in EU/ Spain where I could report this merchant? If I don't recover my $170, at least I would like this retailer to be prosecuted.

My only reason for buying the sets are the minifigs, and maybe the build. If they don't release the minifig set this year (or at all), then I can focus my resources on LOTR, and some other themes that I collect.

I would love any new set with new DC characters not featured before, or seldom featured ones. Batman is alright if he is wearing a never-featured-before suit.

This set has Joy and Anxiety and many other things in between. LOL

That’s my point- the ‘Easter eggs’ that people mention are mere references. They do not forbode a particular set or minifig being produced! And that these are being taken advantage of by influencers for self-promotion!

I'm an Inside Out fan and I've always thought there were plenty of adults who appreciated the movie more than kids. Set overall looks a bit confused. The main characters are minidolls, with two minifig associates. The build itself is for adults?

Minidolls is always a pass for me.

I am always skeptical whenever I hear "Lego easter eggs"... unless you are an actual insider (who btw would be bound by a non-disclosure agreement), then you would not be able to accurately predict that a particular reference in an existing set is a clue that it will be released as a future set. Lego has made tons of references to items/ sets in their releases and some of them have ended up as actual sets/ minifigs, while some haven't. The concept of "Lego easter eggs" is only useful/ valuable to all of these Lego-apologists/ Youtube influencers. They often have a verbal diarrhea (and squealing in between at that like toddlers) of all the possible references in a set upon release. Then in a future video, they mention that they predicted this and that release on a past video when in fact it there was no real evidence of that then. Nothing different to clickbait or news organizations sensationalizing stories. I am happy that Lego released this BTAS set as I grew up watching this series, but I know that BTAS is not for everyone and this particular type of set is only for a particular group of Lego fans. If it performs well in sales, I could see all these 'references' eventually made into some sort of future release. I would love that, but who knows? We can only hope.

I wonder which of the minifigs in that Gotham art set will remain exclusive to it? Or will Lego eventually reuse them in smaller sets?

I feel like the X-Jet is a big disappointment for a lot of people as it much anticipated and people expected so much and Lego just priced it accordingly but in the end failed to wow. Someone, many posts ago in this thread, said that Lego will just end up blaming the market as not liking the X-men theme when in fact they have not done a good job with the set, and priced it outrageously at that. I am optimistic though as they have kept trying with the Disney minifig line - Lego has been 'experimenting' and releasing much-wanted sets, especially by adults.

Maybe this is another case of a particular set that is releasing in October but being mistaken by this supposed-leaker as Barad-dur. Hoping it is an earlier release and not October.

I do wonder which painting or photo they got the idea for the Orion minifig hair??? When I google Orion, he appears to have a different hair or a headgear.

I know it is too early as we haven't even seen a leak of the X-mansion... but if it really is limited to 10 minifigs, I wonder what follow up set might contain the remainder of the team/ cast? X-men vs Sentinels set? LOL

Me, too! I was looking forward to that Orion minifig fitting into the Roman minifigs collection from past CMFs!

I have almost all of my minifigs and bigfigs neatly arranged inside IKEA Sannahed frames with a custom printed background. However, I just realized that larger bigfigs such as TLBM Killercroc, LOTR bigfigs won’t fit! Any suggestions for deeper frames, similar in size to Sannahed, or perhaps any other product out there?

Might anyone have any suggestions as to which frames might fit these bigfigs? Killercroc and LOTR? Been searching around and IKEA's US offerings are quite limited. :(
