Which version of Cedric is this mini head? All the versions I could find have the wrinkled face... I would definitely buy those sets!!! I think Mary Poppins has the potential to appeal to older folks, and so there's that potential there. Just like SW appeals to a lot of adults! Is there a license issue with Oz? I thought I read someone's post here or at the CMF thread/s that there is some licensing issue for the classic movie, such that Lego could not make them (anymore)? We are desperately missing Glinda, as well as the Wizard himself. I would love for Disney not only to make sets based out of the Princesses being princesses, but also as being villagers, etc. I think it was @JeanGreyForever who mentioned that Aurora would have been a better candidate for CMF rather than the Sleeping Beauty princess version. Isn't this castle planned to be on shelves for quite some time? That is going to be a long wait! Come to think of it, they announced that they will re-package the castle in a non-100th design. I don't think that has already happened? Maybe stocks are not flying off the shelves that quick? Although I do seem to remember it being on backorder at some point.

From this year, moving forward, I wonder if we could expect Lego to be making a set based on a classic? I know we could (would) be getting the Maleficent dragon later this year. But what could be next? No rumors yet...

I said this was a day 1 purchase for me! Web site had so many issues for the first half hour - could not get through, then payment system does not work! Eventually got the cottage after 40+ minutes of trying!

You're missing the second part of the argument... when Lego anticipates that a certain set will sell well, they will be even more stingy with their inclusions as they know they will just keep raking in profits because a set is just so much anticipated! LOL They probably thought that the MTS has a wider audience and it is non-licensed. So they cheapened it because they are thinking it will rake in profits, profit, profits...

Yes, that one!!! For me, if they trim down the line up of minifigs, I would be alright with that if they feature some badly-wanted ones, like BOTH Belle and Beast. If Stitch appears again, Lilo better be there! If Aladdin appears, he should be featured in a different outfit and with some other minifig, etc, etc. People were expecting way more than just the number of prince/ princess couples that actually made it to that set! I think Lego cut the budget! Makes you wonder what will become of Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder?

The Target submission had Belle but no Beast. :(

I think the Anniversary set for Target, and the Maleficent survey leak both have to be minifig based. Agree, and Encanto minifig set is long overdue. Merida, Beauty and the Beast, and Encanto are pending minifigs.

Wasn't there a leaked image of a brachiosaur minifig head for the late Vidiyo theme? Maybe will reuse those! LOL

I guess I'll end up just getting him on BL. Already got all other existing characters.

Lego doesn’t want to invest in any new designs, or is just plain lazy. They probably keep thinking that this or that particular Wolverine released is going to be the last, but people just keep buying! lol

Hmm...maybe they could make a small non-technic version!

They've made Nightwing, Star-fire, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven so it is possible to make a team. But I would welcome any re-make of minifigs, even if it were one character in some random Batman set. LOL. But preferably not a Batman set. Wonder whatever happened to that previously rumored Dr. Fate Tower? I would at least like to get Bloodsport and King Shark. Harley, Boomerang, and Polka have featured in other sets.

My non-Batman suggestion is the Suicide Squad! Although seeing how violent the movie was, Lego is probably going to stay away. I do think Teen Titans is also overdue, but Lego has made some characters from that group.

I think Lego probably anticipates that this set will be popular enough that they don’t need to attract people more with a GWP.

I thought about this, too! I do not think this is an unlikely scenario! Lego will probably reuse many minifigs, but I am hoping for at least one or two new versions or something completely new!

I feel like that on the one hand, Lego can't really reuse some characters because some of them have long been 'retired' like Aladdin, Ariel, and Elsa. Pinocchio is pretty recent so they can reuse that. Belle would be new. Perhaps they might reuse Cinderella and add her prince there, instead of B&B? Of course the more the minifigs the merrier! But knowing Lego, they might not include that many new ones? On a slightly different note, I wonder how many of the Disney Castle couples will get reused for other sets? We've already seen Snow White, Prince Florian, and Princess Tiana as repeats.

I wonder if we might get BOTH Belle and Beast? Prince Ali would be nice, but maybe the Sultan would be better? That would sort of complete the lineup.

I am hoping too! Lego makes D2C's for Marvel each year... ditto Ninjago and MK. However, we haven't seen the completion of the likes of Winnie the Pooh, etc The Rivendell set is expensive. I loaned money from my savings to buy it on day one. It went on backorder a short time after going on sale, and on the US site is on backorder again. I think this Snow White set will do well but with its price, many people like you will probably wait for a promo. Nonetheless, I do think Lego will notice the numbers. Minifigs sell well, especially with adult collectors. Lego should understand that how these sets will sell even more with minifigs included. Just look at the SW Lego line! (I wonder how SW fans will react if they started making them in mini dolls? Not that I imagine Lego will ever dare.) I won't say no to that set! Bring it on!

I wonder if this set might sell out quickly (or even just backordered) soon after going on sale. The Villains went on backorder for some time just a few weeks after being listed on sale.

Better late than never. That set went through a lot in the past year. LOL
