It is just so lame to enter a topic that you don't like and say things like that.

Yep. I thought Batman was '39 though...Wonder Woman is 1941, right? -
LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

I think we'll see a few unknowns (and I use few loosely). Just look at Harley Quinn. Sure, people who read comics and watched B:TAS know and love her, but she isn't that well known, she was only in one episdoe of The Brave and the Bold (from what I can tell) and hasn't appeared in any movies (except for Return of The Joker, but I don't think too many kids have watched that). There's Killer Croc and Nightwing too, but they only appeared in the Batman theme. But when I say unknown, I don't mean very unknown. I mean characters like The Cheetah, who has been acknowledged to exist by LEGO (with that comic Clone Gunner posted a page or two back). Of course, I do hope that we see unknown characters, and I mean even more unknown than Cheetah (not that I really care if we get her or not). I don't read comic books, but I know that if a character looks cool, I'll want them. I think it's the same with kids. They may not have any idea who a character like Azrael is, but they see him and think he looks cool, so they buy him. Simple. I don't know about this theme being as big as Star Wars, at least not know. I do think it could be as big as Harry Potter though and last for at least ten years. But the thing limiting Super Heroes is the same thing limiting Harry Potter, vehicles. Super Heroes probably does have more vehicle potential than Harry Potter though, HP only has the Hogwarts Express, Flying Ford, and Knight Bus, while Super Heroes has the batmobile, batwing, batcycle, batboat, tumbler, Wonder Woman's jet (though I doubt we'll see that), quinjet, Loki's cosmic cube (whatever that is), and more. So, pretty much, we will see a lot of remakes, like Star Wars and Harry Potter. But is that really a bad thing? For collectors, I suppose so, but just look at how much nicer the current TIE fighter is than the last few attempts. And remakes aren't so bad, sure, it is redundant for collectors, but only a few licensed themes get remakes, Star Wars and Harry Potter being the only examples I can think of (well, now Batman), but it means that the line has the potential to keep going, so if that's what we need to get new sets later, I'm all for it. -
Lego Batman 2 announced!
SoupOrFishOil replied to Professor Flitwick's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Sometime in 2012. My guess would be to accompany the Summer Wave. JaHawk2009-That's basically my dream list too, except there would be a couple more Gothom Heroes (Huntress, Azrael, Harvey Bullock, Jim Gordon, etc.) and Gotham Villains (Penguin, Man-Bat, Killer Moth, Ra's Al Ghul, Hush, etc.). I don't know if it is too extensive, but I don't expect all three Green Lanterns, that'll just confuse kids. -

I suppose that's what they would say...but we now it was to cheapen designing a new face. Kind of like how people think that the Guard's has Bruce Wayne's old face as a nod to the previous Batman theme. I think they decided to reuse a face and then decided on that one so we'd think that. -
Nice! I like the original too, like the above poster, and this doesn't look like something LEGO would release, but I'm not complaining. It's great to look at and would have even better parts than the official one.

That is Superman's face with a white stripe and no wrinkles around the eyes and chin. I hate it too. -

There will probably be more characters anyway, I can't imagine them releasing a game with less than ten, since the high amouts of playable characters is one of the reason LEGO games are so popular. I hope for alter egos too, mostly because LB:TVG only had Bruce Wayne (but the DS had Tim Drake, Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, Selina Kyle, Jonathon Crane, Harlene Quinzel, Harvey Dent, and Pamela Isley). I'd love a new Nightwing with different hair (and I don't have one anyway), as well as Mr. Freeze with a new helmet and Batgirl (I hope if she is in it the developers give her as much attention as they did to Tonks and Sirius Black in Years 5-7) On another note, we should probably move the video game discussion here. EDIT: LEGO.com Mini-site is up! And an updated version, not the "Guess Who" Teaser. -

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

The first is my second favorite LEGO game (behind Years 5-7). If it had more characters, it would be my favorite. And the best part, more heroes. Even though I don't like Superman (Wonder Woman and Green Lantern are okay though), hopefully thise means Batman and Robin won't be the only two characters in every hero level. No. Mostly because of them being sacred. They aren't action figures, more figurines. But those are just my thoughts. The release also mentions Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Lex Luthor, and The Joker. I would also expect Batgirl, Nightwing, and Mr. Freeze, at least, because they could mimic some of the abilities mentioned (Batgirl-Batman's suits, Nightwing-Robin's Suits, Mr. Freeze-Superman's ice breath) -

Mr. Freeze ? I know we had this discussion already, but why not Riddler, Poison Ivy, or Lex Luthor? (Forgot Superman wasn't on there ) Interesting background information though, especially Bane, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Lex Luthor because they had little to no information in LEGO Batman: The Videogame, so I had no idea which version LEGO used for their orgins. (Though it's pretty obvious the last two wouldn't of been mentioned.) -

Yeah, she is really great. But it's small things that bug me-her visor being two colors (the light blue and white) looks weird to me (really good job on your pictures by the way, I could make out the two colors in yours) and her normal eyed expression is the same as Ivy's (and Harley's but it's mirrored). But I still really like her Maybe not as good as Ivy, but she's really great. All of the figs in this line are. I look forward to getting an extra of this set and making Selina Kyle with an extra face (though she could always body swap ) That's how she appeared in the DS version of the videogame, and her face looks surprisingly similar to this one (except for the eyeshadow which I am glad isn't on this one) I couldn't resist Even though I have one already (even though there are some things I don't like), I want another -
I almost got it (even though I still don't like it) until I saw the markup. And there was only one left, so I guess people were paying that price (Poor uninformed shoppers )

Shop@Home listed it as Hard to Find, which normally means LEGO Stores, Online Shop, and a retailer (usually Wal*Mart, Target, or TRU here in the US). Though, if it isn't for Wal*Mart, I'd think that they mismarked it. (Unless TRU or Target are getting their shipment late for whatever reason.) -

I'm okay with them cutting down on the arm size for this set-they already made the golden ratio and it's a licensed set, so, I'm fine (though if I could easily MOD them to the same length without to many rare pieces, that would be nice too) I think that when it's exclusive to Shop@Home and LEGO stores, they refer to it as Exclusive. -

I saw a picture of it too (on a website, I don't have my magazine yet), and it is the '06 minifigure like VenVoi said (it doesn't even have the updated gun from 2008). I'm going to agree with VenVoi that it probably is the ladder () latter and the artist either messed up or did it to fill space. There is nothing different about the minifigure except for the helmet is more accurate, but still not to the depiction (seems to be a smaller version of Sandy's rounded helmet), but that's probably a mistake. I still think that we'll see Mr. Freeze sometime, but I think he'll have a Two-Face esque makeover with his original magenta/lime suit (But as Oky pointed out, that was while his name was still Mr. Zero, but I've seen pictures of Freeze in a similar outfit). Like VenVoi said though, it is strange that they'd choose him over The Riddler (I don't have the magazine yet though, so if Riddler is on there, this will be null and void), especially if Harley Quinn is on there (again, I don't know yet). Oh, and speaking of Harley and Riddler, I think the Funhouse is a Wal*Mart exclusive in the US, since from posts I've read it seems as though both Target and TRU have been pretty supplied with LEGOs while Wal*Mart needs to be restocked. If we already know where it's an exclusive and I missed it, please let me know. -
I saw it the other day. There weren't that many though, but there were more of them than any other action figures-like three of the new Evo and Toxic Reapa, One new Surge, and one Ultrabuild Joker.

Good to hear, and I think I know why the cape was missing. The textiles are manafactured in China ...quality may of improved, but I'm still sceptical about their quality control. -
Review: 6857 - The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape
SoupOrFishOil replied to AlexScammer's topic in LEGO Licensed
I find that when the minifigures don't have any paint on their necks (and the torso isn't blank) that the torso at least is made in China. So if the box does say components made in China, that could give a further hing, but I think textiles are anyway, so saying components made in China might be referring to the capes. -

Darn, I was just at Target two days ago, and I saw nothing there. I went to Wal Mart and Toys R Us too, and the only Super Heroes set I saw was a single Ultrabuild Joker with 33% markup at Toys R Us. Too late for me though, I already ordered the Batcave yesterday because of the failure of my trip and now have to wait four weeks for Shop@Home to ship it. I guess it's all in the timing -

Thanks for the review, I already have this set though (and think it's great), but I'm not too fond of Catwoman's face. I almost did, but I didn't want to take pictures of it (again) -
Interesting theory there. Can the Fangpyre control the transformation though? Because I don't think that they'd purposley want to create their own worst enemey.

Well, those railings in the funhouse kind of look like ladders... But I was in a rush. I know the difference between ladders and latter Yeah, I used the website, but they sent a generalized e-mail about how they weigh their boxes and that there was no possibility that a whole bag was missing. And then a few days later I was contacted by an actual person who was more polite and I was able to get the pieces for free. You're right though I'll call next time, it should save trouble. -

I think there's a difference between ordering one and one not being included (when it's supposed to be), mostly because the ladder is about quality. I was able to order a whole bag of parts from a licensed set when it was missing, not that customer service was very polite about it
