  1. A couple, I posted them here.
  2. Ya know, Princess pictures have been around for a few days, I don't really follow this thread, but I posted something related to the pictures in another thread, and it was brought to my attention that they weren't here yet. So: These two small picters were all that I saw, but they're something, right?
  3. Reading through the comments on YouTube, there are murmurs of the guy who is posting these NOT having Marvel pictures. Of course...good thing I don't really like Marvel
  4. I'm the first to (re)post this? Some thought that it was a possible future Colletable Minifigure a while back, but it looks like it's the swamp monster.
  5. If anybody else has heard the rumors for a Monster Hunters theme, there is a video on YouTube showing the sets. Why am I bringing this up here? Because the largest set has two Bat-esque monsters, and I didn't think it would be off topic to say they could be used for (or even better, be foreshadowing (but I doubt it)) a Man-Bat figure.
  6. That surprised me too, but what I think is even stranger is that the Disney Princess sets showed up a lot later than the DC Universe ones Anyway, I remember telling somebody somewhere else months ago that we could see the high res DC Universe pics any day, and they next day, we saw them. So, we could see the Marvel preliminary pics any day now.
  7. Thanks for the quick, but very good, review! Looking at the pictures you took, I like the Batwing again, but I will need to MOD it. Hope to see more reviews here at Eurobricks soon!
  8. I don't think we'll get Red Skull in 6865. He wasn't listed as one of the 13 minifigures (or so) in the press release, and that turned out pretty accurate for DC (disregarding henchmen and guards). The press release said that Nick Fury was part of the X-men line btw I don't think we'll se Sabretooth this wave, but SHIELD agents would be generic enough to evade mention in the press release (like henchmen), I think.
  9. More vehicle vs. vehicle conflict than DC even, which has two playsets
  10. I forgot about the PotC and Alien Conquest ones...that's not much though, probably just Frodo, another hero, a couple generci baddies, and a different baddy. Not that I would know though. But anyway, I don't want to be accused of making things up, so if anybody missed it:
  11. They are making a collectable minifigure series. Do they really need battlepacks too? Seriously, that's pretty lucky that you are getting a collectable minifigure series, I'd be so happy if there was a Super Heroes one...hopefully it expands into other themes!
  12. To me it looks like that new 1x1 round plate in gold turned upside down.
  13. Holy Flash Batman! That was fast EDIT: Watched the first one, that was the first time I saw Robin's backprinting and some different angles of the Batcycle (which is pretty bad, but still gives me some ideas for a BatgirlCycle I'm working on). EDIT2: Just watching through the second video, and it seems to include a brick separator, like the Two-Face set. EDIT3: Robin has a different hairpiece in the comic, interesting
  14. Palpatine didn't appear until two years after Star Wars was released, but Vader is probably more iconic.
  15. Lucky I won't get mine until just before February (when I have money for most everything else too). Even if you don't open yours, I hope we can see a review. And you just had to make it sound so appealing with a bulging box Hope somebody posts a review before Christmas Good to know. Yay for extras
  16. I can't believe LEGO didn't learn from their mistakes with Batman! Especially since Harry Potter has a far lesser chance at being resurrected than Batman did, unless they remake the movies, I don't think a 3-D rerelease would be enough, unless they still have the license. And you never know, it may not be retired, there's that book coming out later with an exclusive minifigure, and if it hadn't been for Diagon Alley, we wouldn't of had any news on the new sets until the Summer rumor lists. I'm still doubtful though.
  17. Whatever, I'm not really excited for it, I'm expecting it to be like Pirates of the Caribbean all over again, except I suspect this will last longer. I mean, I'm sure it will have great minifigures and fabulous new pieces which can easily be used in Castle, but I'm not expecting any good sets, since most of them will have to be locations, not doing a location in a smaller scale is a bad thing, it's just harder to pull off (all like PotC, except for Pirates instead of Castle).
  18. Earlier I said that I hoped for the "good" side so I could do that. Anyway, if Two-Face had the bad side, then he'd always have to make a bad decision...
  19. As much as I hate to say it Can we please get back on topic about discussing a possible LotR theme and not why LEGO won't produce military sets? (I'm not pointing any fingers)
  20. I do too. It looks like the guard's torso is slightly different from the one that appeared in City sets earlier this year too, besides the lack of printing on the back, he has more lines on his front side.
  21. Looks like Bane has taken over as Nightwing It's great that FBTB has been doing reviews and thanks to the people who've been linking to them. I'd still like to see some from here though, but those reviews still seem helpful and I guess I do have an even better idea of what I'm getting (no matter what). Guess I need to plan some Batwing improvements though...any suggestions for landing gear? What did the first Batwing use? In other news, the Super Heroes mini site has been down (at least for me), I wonder if it's being updated, as tomorrow is the 15.
  22. LEGO Magazine suggested that the Alien Commander (from Alien Conquest) unleased them as a plan C, but I think that was just to get people excited for the theme.
  23. Thanks for the review. I've been trying not to want this set, as much as I know I do, and now I'm struggling to keep it at the bottom of my want list (at the end of the Super Heroes part at least ). I still don't like Superman's head (at least not the scowling side) or his hair, but at least I get Wonder Woman What? Wonder Woman has pink fever? I must find a cure...or at least complain to Customer Service
  24. Me too. I really hate when LEGO does something like this. I think of it differently with MOCs though, that's the creator's choice.
  25. I don't really like the Superman figure, mostly because the hair looks weird and the face has some lines which make him look kind of old...I do like Wonder Woman, I'd like to use Luthor's suit for a pre-scarred Harvey Dent, and his face is fairly generic too. The mech also has some nice Joker-friendly parts (in fact, you could just put Joker in it and refer to the kryptonite as his laughing gas). I do plan on getting it eventually, but it would probably be the last Super Heroes set I'll get, except for maybe the Batwing (I like the Batwing, but Joker's helicopter is meh and I think it's pretty pricey for what it is). Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the set. Oh, and about a flesh glasses head, this is the best thing I could come up with, but it's not the best: Credit for the picture goes to Huw at Brickset.com. Yeah, you're probably right. I don't mind though because the only thing I have from the Batman line is a Killer Croc minifigure I got in a bag of loose LEGOs. Really? may I ask why? On another note, I do agree with the idea that Wonder Woman should be the one rescuing Superman, I think she'd have a better chance at defeating a kryptonite powered mech.
