  1. I was just examining my Two-Face minifigure and I noticed that both of his hands had gray lines about halfway down/up on the outside. After putting the coin on his hand, I noticed that the bottom of that seemed to line up with the marks, so I'd recomend not putting it on his hand, but rather having it in between the fingers (or whatever). So not like this image I found on Brickipedia: I would of taken pictures myself, but I'm not good at capturing small details. Anybody else have this problem with the hands/coin?
  2. Yeah, that's probably it. But still... I guess I'm just feeding the Red Skull idea, but unless Loki is in the Cap set, I don't know who else. I suppose that generic bad guys are an option, but it wouldn't feel right...
  3. I don't completely understand the first part of your post, but I'm not too worried about Fury not appearing. LEGO promised This just means he won't appear in the X-men set like they said he would.
  4. Great Oky The only reason I usually have to come to this forum is to see the funnies and this didn't dissappoint
  5. I wish that we could get an Ultrabuild version of that! Hero Factory styled bunny slippers...
  6. Brick Heroes suggested that a Red Skull minifigure might show up. It was just speculation, but I thought it was interesting. And the false info about Fury suggestst that the press release wasn't all that accurate anyway. Here's the article.
  7. Apparantly he's in "everything Marvel". But still Maybe the press release isn't as accuarate as we thought. Maybe LEGO are not telling us something, like about the Red Skull Brick Heroes suggested. Okay
  8. Pretty creepy until you realize it's red riding hood...
  9. Yeah, as part of the X-men...
  10. Thanks for those, not that there really is anything new, except for Fury not being included in the Wolverine set and Hawkeye's inclusioin with Loki. Iron Man was the prelminary name for the Loki set, so he isn't a big surprise for me. Yes he was.
  11. Yeah, especially since he does have them in the movie, and they are painted on the side, so that should make it even easier to get right.
  12. Actually, Jones, Maccus, and Bootstrap were their set designs, I think. I think that TT just knew something we didn't. That reminds me actually, isn't Green Lantern confirmed to be in Batman 2? Maybe they know something we don't, again. But it could always be the comic-con one. Oh, well I thought that they were from one universe. I knew that Grundy was in Batman and Green Lantern, but I didn't know about Superman. I'm not so sure he'll turn up. But if he did, that's one villain I'd be okay with passing on. Not really about the POTC one, like I said above; I don't think that they were TT's designs converted into a LEGO set, I think that they were TLG's designs which appeared in the video game as that was released before the Black Pearl.
  13. Well, I think that there is a difference between giving a minifigure a couple studs and printing on the side of a head, which is not unheard of, but not very common. I don't think they'll do it, but we really don't know; you can't make out the side of his head in the recent ad and the comic-con one is preliminary.
  14. Please stop shouting And no, I don't think they will, at least not this time around. I don't think he has the wings in The Avengers. Maybe if we get a comic version, but not this time.
  15. Unless LEGO is planning a set with exclusive minifigures that TT knows about but we don't. It happend with the Pirates of the Caribbean game; Davy Jones, Maccus, and Bootstrap all had their set appearances even though we hadn't seen their set appearances yet, or even knew that they would be included in the Black Pearl. I guess that those don't count as video game designs, but they were mistaken for such, which could happen. I don't think Solomon Grundy will appear though, but what are those three universes that he appears in? Oh, and the DS game had the following characters when the console didn't, if this helps anyone: Azrael, The Spoiler, Dr. Jeremiah Arkham, Harvey Bullock, Lucius Fox, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Barbara Gordon, Victor Zsasz, Black Mask, Ventriloquist, Dr. Hugo Strange, Talia Al Ghul, Firefly, Huntress, Harvey Dent, Selina Kyle, Pamela Isley, Dr. Harleen Quinzel, and Professor Jonathan Crane.
  16. You might be right about Hush, but he did appear in the LEGO video game, not that that means much. He didn't play a role or anything, he was just a character unlocked after a side mission was completed. I don't think we'll see any Arkham City/Asylum styled figures. You know, it's a little dark for kids I think we'll continue to see more classic comic and updated animated styles. Maybe some Nolan movie depictions too, just maybe.
  17. We already had the Zero/Freeze discussion, and he has worn that costume as Freeze. The picture here is from 2008, so he would of been known as Freeze for decades (On another not, Joker and Ivy seem to have costumes similar to the new LEGO ones there too). Two-Face's black/white colorscheme is also more recognizable, but that didn't stop them. Plus, doing the Zero suit will eliminate the need for a new mold-the dome helmet, they could just use Sandy's. I don't know why I'm arguing this though, why would I want the Zero suit? The colorscheme is horrid and chances are we won't get a dome helmet to go with it... Guess I just want to rub it in if I'm right...
  18. Sorry if this has been said already, but I'm wondering if you/he were/was actually shown a picture of the Flying Dutchman, or just some sort of blank slot for one. Because, I think it is possible that it was just mistaken for the 200+ piece SpongeBob Flying Dutchman. But really, I wouldn't know, I'm not in your/his position.
  19. Yeah, I probably went overboard just a little bit A custom Mad Hatter wouldn't be too hard I don't think, and I already have a custom Clayface and Mr. Freeze, an official Killer Croc, and am working on Batgirl, so I'm fairly well set. I'm sure Freeze will have his old colorscheme; it's more colorful, and this line is full of color and it's the classic design, some people will praise LEGO for choosing the original colorscheme, like with Two-Face. I'd love to see Huntress, but sadly, I think she has an equal chance, if not less, of being created than Mad Hatter. I think I could make a custom of her though too, using the DS game's as a model it can't be too difficult... And enjoy your Batcave! Edit: I like the new Two-Face too, but I prefer the old one.
  20. Yeah, I hope that Penguin has a Catwoman-styled redesign (not too different from the last), but just giving him backprinting could improve an already great figure. I'd love to see them redo Scarecrow now that dark brown and dark tan have become more common... Ra's Al Ghul-As long as he doesn't look too much like a vampire. Obscure characters? Why when there are so many others that they could do which fans would recognize from the last video game; Killer Croc (had a fairly big role), Mad Hatter, Man-Bat, Mr. Freeze (still pretty sure we'll see him, but in red and lime ), Killer Moth, Clayface, Hush, Batgirl, Nightwing...okay, perhaps I'm getting carried away, but I love the Batman rogues gallery and family, I hope we get an Arkham Asylum, that might get us started with some of these villains (and heroes).
  21. I think I'd prefer the Hockey Armor to a standard head, I appreciate LEGO's work on Iron Man's helmet, it's just too big. Maybe some custom part buisness will take advantage of our distress and start producing dark red hockey armor with an Iron Man design. Of course, I don't like to pay for custom parts, but I probably won't get Iron-man either, or any Marvel for that matter. I'd rather save up for the second DC wave (Maybe we'll get Penguin and Scarecrow? )
  22. Nah, the closest LEGO store to me is about four hours away, I think, I've never been there. I ordered in online only an hour or two right after it went on backorder. Just over two weeks before it ships... I do have Catwoman and Two-Face though, so I guess it's not as bad as it could be.
  23. I'm usually pretty good at color recognition, and that is definitly beige there.
  24. Thanks for the review, even though I already got my Catwoman set. I liked it okay, the street corner was lacking, but had great parts, and I'm okay with extra crates, can never have enough of those. The jet-pack and Catcycle are very nice, and I'd like to get another one of these just for a second purple motorcycle (Batgirl-cycle anyone?) and a Catwoman cowl to modify... Yay! Can't wait. I need something to hold me over before my Batcave is shipped at the end of the month...I have the worst luck with timing sometimes... Yes, it is printed and no, the cowl does come in the set. It's the cape that isn't included. I didn't like the old Catwoman's curves. The way LEGO made them looked as though they cut off her arms from her shoulders. But I'd understand why people would prefer the old one. She's not drastically different, but she's different enough.
