LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
SoupOrFishOil replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
I can hope, but I'm doubtful. I was actually surprised that it had been (supposedly) been going for $30 before, because I've been comparing the price points to Harry Potter. Maybe this means that the Batcave will be upped ten dollars to match the Hogwarts Express price, or preferably lowered ten dollars to match the Burrow price. I doubt the latter, but hopefully not the former. -
This might go in the Special Themes or need to be merged somewhere else and if it does, sorry. Sounds like we could be getting a licensed supplementary set. Oh joy!

I hope that's a mark-up, I was really sure it would be $30. I suppose it includes The Joker, so they think that they can do whatever they want with it. Maybe with some people, but to me, he's just another killer clown I still want him though because I hate clowns! Do you mean that you purchased the sets, or this that this is just a collection of pictures we've already seen? I'm interested either way though, but if it's the former, I'd really love to know. -

Hopefully, but another Mexican factory worker probably just got a hold of them, and somebody bought the figures. Or the factory worker just had good photography skills. But if it is out: -

Plus, Studios was retired by the time the Spider-man 2 theme came out. -

Oh yeah, I forgot about his name being Mr. Zero...but like LEGO would care. There is also the picture used here, which is from 2008 and has him in a similar suit, so he has worn it as Mr. Freeze. Wait, why am I supporting the idea that we'll get a green/red Mr. Freeze? That's just as bad (if not worse) than orange/purple Two-Face... -
About this "pink ninja" thing, Zane's robes were messed up one way or another, but I doubt that it hints that he's the green ninja. If you've seen the clip, it's the normal robes he had this year, not his ZX or Kendo costumes. So, the pink robes'll probably be replaced by something white, like the ZX or Kendo costume.

Yeah, there are a bunch of Spider-man sets that they can redo too... Just kidding, those scenes would be part of a SONY license, which MEGA BLOkS ( ) owns. -
Anybody else notice the banana?

Probably not until the end of this series, but I don't know why you'd ask me, I just pointed out the 5. Really, are you sure that it said one of four students, not just a student? That could also mean Kai though. I remember getting some poster from LEGO Magazine earlier this year with a poster of the characters on one side and some bios on the characters on the other side. Kai's said that he would have to become the most powerful ninja. I still suspect Lloyd though.

I was hoping somebody would notice that, but seriously: As long as we get a dome though, it wouldn't be so bad. I've seen him wear pretty simple outfits with better colorschemes. Yeah that's it. But if Bane is cartoony, he wouldn't be too different from the Batcave, if at all. Though of course, they might do movie inspired characters, but original scenes/vehicles. -

Yeah, it's not officialy confirmed. We really only got it in an article from Variety, if I remember correctly. I believe it though. If they'd make sets based on The Avengers, I don't see why not. Even if they decide that the movie is too dark (which I doubt they would), they could always take the approach that they did with TDK in 2008. I think that even if Batman had continued into 2009, we still would of seen Batmobile and Batwing remakes, considering the shelf-life. And remakes don't have to be all bad, not that Star Wars is always the best example of that, Harry Potter would be a good one to show that they can be nice. -
Well, you are the one with the major on the subject. But that doesn't mean that we would of heard about it. But whatever, if we get it, we get it. If we don't, we don't. Ugh, whenever I propose an idea, I always forget Toy Fair.

I don't think that we even know if he is going to be the green ninja in 2012. I think that the rumors said that the ninjas only discover who the green ninja is. So it is very well possible that he does "grow up."

Why are people wondering if LEGO has the license or not now? It isn't even 2012 yet, and it would make sense as a license for October wave 2012 (like when the Harry Potter rerelease came about) or in early 2013. Wouldn't it be a little early to hear about the license? I wouldn't expect it until at least March. And LEGO can keep a secret. Super Heroes didn't really leak out before they announced it.

Yeah, they just need to supply the demand the videogame created. After this wave, we'll probably have one dedicated to TDKR, and then in 2013 (unless TDKR sets are anything like the TDK ones), I could see Penguin, Scarecrow, and Mr. Freeze (but in his red/green costume, like what they did with Two-Face) being released with vehicles like the Batboat and Batcopter. And plus, it's actually pretty lucky that we're getting Wonder Woman. She could of easily been skipped over in the Superman set. And at least they come in a fairly cheap one. -
Okay: Eyebrow Shape There is a 5 on his shirt The 5 is green How's that?

I don't know, I'm fine with it. Maybe it's because the sets are similar to the previous sets, even though I think that they've been changed enough, more than some Star Wars renditions. It could also be because even though they were asking for Batman, they get a Superman set, and decide that this is Super Heroes, so they should have more than just Batman I don't know. Marvel will have more diversity though, and of course, Green Lantern might show up in the predicted (but not confirmed) Arkham set alongside Batman, Harley, and Riddler. -
I can kind of see that: Also, anybody think that the five on his torso might be a hint? There are for ninjas now, but maybe he'd be number five.

You are right, but Batman is the only super hero I really like so I don't mind. It could be because of the demand the LEGO videogame created, or just because he is more vehicle friendly than Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern. -
A comment on the video said that, so not necessarily. Zane probably just had his robes in with Kai's in the wash....
