Brickset has a helpful breakdown here! I'm surprised that they listed Galidor and Mixels though. I don't think that either are any more "licensed" than Ninjago. Galidor was owned and funded by TLG.... I guess it is up to the mods/judges if they would accept entries based on Galidor, Mixels, and the Lego movies. I'd expect no....

Wizarding World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
SoupOrFishOil replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I had this happen to me back in 2015 with a set I bought off the shelf at Target. The minifigures, large technic wheels, and an entire bag of parts (1/3 of the set, and more than half its value) were missing. Lego's customer service still replaced everything though. -
Maybe bright yellowish orange fits the profile?

This is pretty cool! I like the spikey look and I'm thinking of how creepy it would look for symbiote tentacles to emerge from it. I also love the look of the Venomized Batman. I did that with a spare cowl all the way back in 2012. It's a fun crossover.

DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
SoupOrFishOil replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Anyone have any plans for cool MOCs? I get that we all want new stuff, but I've been taking the last couple of years as an opportunity to collect old figures I missed out on and to work on the builds that I want to see. The Tower of Fate wouldn't be a difficult MOC, unless you try to include some of those M C Escher esque staircases. The only thing that would be missing is Fate himself. Which yeah, is unfortunate, but I'm afraid people aren't taking advantage of the whole purpose of Lego. If we aren't getting a new Arkham, the Hall of Justice, Wayne Enterprises, or a Bat Train then by zod why aren't people building them to satiate that desire and get people excited about those things? -

I can access BnP now. For some reason the S@H URL in my browser was defaulting to Great Britain earlier today. -

BnP is down in the US for the updates. I haven't checked for a few days so maybe this is old news. -

It might be that Klarion was a real leak and they had to hide the evidence by changing the description. But yeah, weird for sure. -

Looks like the Goofy key chain has a black vest and no apron or patches. This minifigure hasn't been released in a set , so hopefully that means this is a version from one of the upcoming Mickey and Friends sets.... -
I hope this thread takes off! There were a lot of good ideas in the HP thread while that was active. Justice League Dark Justice League Ladies Gotham Girls Superman's Pals New Teen Titans Misc I have plenty of others but I need to find them first! edit: It might be hard to tell what is custom about Batwoman: she has the Vampire's two-sided cape from the Scooby-Doo Haunted Mansion. edit 2: And I think Huntress's skirt is a custom piece that I bought. I would have removed it before taking the picture if I remembered.

DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
SoupOrFishOil replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
At the latest I bet it will go up as "coming soon" on LEGO.com when the shop gets updated for February 1st. I'm really excited to see this one. The Tower of Fate has never been a well-defined location, except maybe for the M. C. Escher stairways, so they have a lot of room to be creative. Hopefully they take it. Fate and Klarion (and maybe Zatanna) will likely need new molds so that could cut into the budget, but looking at The Burrow and the Astronomy Tower from Harry Potter, they should be more than capable of making a substantial playset out of a magic tower for $100.... -

Yeah, Batman has had a monster truck in the comics a couple of times. I meant we had never had one as a LEGO set. Yet Spider-Man has weirdly had two. -
DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

Can we get this thread renamed to "Rumors, Discussion & Grammar Check"? I'd like more Superman and Justice League sets, but neither of those brands seem too strong at the moment. At least not strong enough for LEGO the way they gobble up and spit out pop culture IPs these days. My hope is always that even if we can't get sets without movies, the movies turn into a motivation for LEGO to produce more comic and cartoon based sets. The 2020 line-up with WW84, the Bat-Semi, Penguin Ducky, and Dentures of Doom is retiring so they will need *some* versions of comic Batman on the line, you'd think. Maybe they'll want comic book Superman and Wonder Woman on shelves in some form too since they have projects on the air/in the works. At the very least it would make sense to release some more comic-based Batman sets with more colorful versions of some of the movie characters, as they have been doing with Spider-Man. Maybe not the most exciting thing in the world, but maybe it means new Catwoman and Riddler figures? And a random out of nowhere team-up with Etrigan and/or Zatanna to fight Klarion, perhaps.... One vehicle I am surprised we have never had is a Bat-monster truck. Spider-Man has had two monster trucks in the last few years, and he can't even drive! Spider-Man seems to be filling LEGO's "useless superhero vehicle" niche. Far be it from me to ask for more bat-vehicles when we have had almost nothing else the last several years, but that is about the only vehicle I can think of not based on a show/movie/game that I'd get excited about...well, maybe that and a Batwing outfitted for space travel. The Batblade from the 06 Batcave was also pretty cool and never got a real remake--how about a Batmobile with skis for battling some ice-themed rogues? Maybe we could finally get that Snowman figure--the speculated secret 18th villain from LEGO Batman: The Videogame no one ever asks for. Spider-Man's line-up for next year looks like Juniors and a few movie tie-ins. Maybe that will free up Batman for the useless vehicle superhero niche later in the year. Again, maybe not very exciting but better than no Batman or DC at all in my opinion. -

I guess I'll speak up to say that I've always liked Janice too. I did find the way she spoke pretty funny. But there are still at least five or six characters I'd rather have before her. -

Source? That's a left field choice. His hair is usually pretty distinctive too so I don't know if there is a good mold for it.... (also inb4 someone asks why we would get Klarion before Zatanna. Because why on earth would we get Klarion before Zatanna. But still I'll take him gladly. :P ) -
Here's Lavender, kitbashed Molly, and Wormtail with the orange mullet. I prefer med nougat for his hair but at least this matches the eyebrows!

You can add Bionicle (2016) and Overwatch (2019) to that list. We know that each had at least another wave planned and scrapped. I think that LEGO is great at introducing new themes (Vidiyo being an obvious exception) but not necessarily at maintaining interest over several years, especially if it isn't a big license like Marvel or Harry Potter.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
SoupOrFishOil replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
When I review my order summary the element (not part) ID for the orange mullet is still there. I ordered almost a month ago though so the order may have processed/shipped before it was delisted. I'll see when it arrives. It says that piece shipped, but I've never had a piece cancelled before so I'm not sure what to expect. edit: My order just arrived. It's there. -

I ordered the mullet as soon as I found it. My order shipped a few days ago and it looks like the part is still listed online. I've never had a part cancelled from my order before so I hope that hasn't happened here.... Hopefully those Stunz parts are added ASAP. I remember waiting months for the trans opal pieces from the Frozen storybook. -

Maybe a set with the Hunchbacked Witch statue and a secret passage underneath? Like a remake of this? A Hufflepuff dorm could also go in the basement level. We never saw it in the films but they did put the Ravenclaw dorm into the Astromony Tower so why not? -

Oh good, the Moody set includes Neville, Hermione, and a spider so you can relive the magical moment when a Death Eater posing as their teacher tortures a spider and triggers Neville's PTSD until Hermione begs him to stop.... >insert tired comment about DH being too dark/unmarketable here< It sounds like the Hospital Wing is going to be a lackluster remake of the clocktower, but at $40 that might not be the worst thing. It should be a good parts park since clocktower pieces are hard to come by. I don't really care about the others but I'm sure they'll have some nice elements. -

Promobricks has reported a few details about the Sonic set: Three figures: Sonic, Eggman, Crabmeat (latter two being brick-built) Eggman will have his Egg-mobile (presumably instead of the Death Egg Robot) The set has been upsized from the original submission and is designed in order to reflect "a real 2D level" Nexo Knights palm trees and floating rings are retained January 1 release 70 Euros That sounds like a lot of changes to me. I have to say that this does sound more like a Sonic 1 collector's display set instead of the fun Sonic Mania playset which would be a little disappointing. It also sounds like they may have cut the Heavies. There is no mention of them as figures even though crabmeat is listed, and if there is a crabmeat instead of a moto-bug that sounds like a mark against Heavy Rider. I also won't be too happy if they upsized it just for the sake of charging more. But hey, I'm sure that the model will still be nice....
