That seems right. I haven't seen any of the sequels more than once, so I didn't recognize it. Thanks! -

Ooooh, thanks for sharing! Do you think you could show a comparison of the Satin Yellow vs the Satin Trans Neon Green? -
Whoops, I meant to say raised baseplates, which indeed are out of production, unless I am mistaken. I guess you would object to those too, though. Raised baseplates did have their downsides, and I feel the best of both worlds would be building the ground out of pieces, but I doubt we'll see much of that. I just really liked the terrain that raised baseplates used to provide. However, I'll concede that the examples you provide are great examples of bases with elevation done right.

Lego Ideas 90th Anniversary Fan Vote
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Calanon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
As both a castle and space fan, this is bittersweet to me. My hope is that if it sells well (and it should, barring it being a bad design), they might give space a shot! -
Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I wonder if they intend to release anything to coincide with X-Men '97. That would be a dream come true for many of us, and because the character designs already exist, there wouldn't be any concerns about inaccuracies in concept art. -

With April 1st coming up, I think I'll be glued to Lego news channels these days. -

Wouldn't it be amazing if we got updated versions of the classic factions? One can dream... But this set sounds like a step on a direction many of us would love. -

Same here, I am interested in the UCS DeLorean... The amount of large/expensive sets being produced is incredible. No wonder their sales are so good!- 2,976 replies

I would really like to see some knights on horses with barding in this set. Also, I know baseplates are now out of production, but I would really like the castle ground to somehow be represented (castles feel incomplete otherwise to me).

I am so excited about getting what sounds like the biggest castle in Lego history. As someone who recently got into castle and missed out on all previous ones, I am very excited!!!! -

Something that is confusing to me is that the new glitter figs seem to use trans dark blue, but we never got that color without glitter. Do you guys know if trans dark blue figs without glitter can be found? I don't mean the PC ones. -
71033 LEGO Muppets CMF Series - Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Borex's topic in LEGO Licensed
Overall I think these are outstanding, and they'll look great next to the Sesame Street figs. I do admit that a few of them (especially the two old guys) trick my brain into thinking someone took a generic Muppet figure head and put it on a minifig. However, I can ignore that for the most part. Besides, I don't think there is a better alternative (classic, round heads wouldn't have done these justice). I am overall very excited with these. They've met the high standard I've come to expect from Lego! -

I love how they have been coming back to the times when they didn't have the Marvel license to fill in the gaps in the MCU set and minifig collection. This Iron Man sets sounds like a no-brainer for me! -
LEGO Store "Build a Minifigure"
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to 22kane's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I've observed this too in the US. Personally, I do like having the option of getting pre-packaged figs whose pieces haven't been handled at BAM stations by other customers. -
LEGO Store "Build a Minifigure"

It looks like the cake suit fig, the clown, and the bright light blue brick suit have started to show up on a few stores in the US (they call the pack "birthday figures", apparently), but I haven't heard of the other 3-pack with the magenta bear showing up. The bear seemed to be intended for Valentine's, which makes it odd that they haven't shown up yet in the US (as far as I know). The other figures seem more Easter-themed, so perhaps they intend to release them closer to Easter. -

For the hoverboard scene, they could do: "I need to borrow your... hoverboard?" - Marty McFly "There is something very familiar about all of this" - Biff Tannen "Hey McFly, you bojo! Those boards don't work on water!" - Data Yeah hopefully we'll get something at some point. I have been willing to give them my money for years for something like that. Also, if the rumored date is accurate (April 2022), we might see something soon! Here's hoping! -
