  1. Ok great :D Because I already had some ideas that are from other themes than Technic :3
  2. Will the studless redesign also allow redesigning Lego System sets, or only the old Technic sets?
  3. Impressive! I really like the angled front of the car :)
  4. You paid for the set to get the instructions from Lego and to get the bricks from Lego You paid for your internet from your provider so you can connect with other people or businesses What makes you think that paying for these things means you can get free stuff from others? Someone spent time on it, time is money, so they want money in exchange back. Basic economy here. I think it is fine, as long as there is no false advertising going on, like a build that is really weak or parts that are glued without mentioning that in the description only for you to find out when you paid.
  5. In your last image, the difference between the bottom slope and the tile is the height of half a plate, or the width of a bracket. If you place a 1x1 brick on its side next to it, you will see it has the same height as where the bottom slope ends. The bottom slope of the second to last picture fits https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=24201&name=Slope, Curved 2 x 1 Inverted&category=[Slope, Curved]#T=C
  6. Seems I am in the minority here as I hate these new monkey-pieces. No way to pose them and they resemble fiddler crabs with their giant right paw. Agreed, it would be better if they upgraded the old monkey, but that might have been to expensive...
  7. He made a new account and also followed me. Is it a bot? Yep, 3kongh
  8. Here are instructions for the one Lego made: https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-ulysses-space-probe-building-instructions/ Direct link to the instructions: https://uploads.brickset.com/instructions/6373604.pdf As far as I can see the only unique thing in this set is the big sticker with information about the Ulysses. So you can easily order the needed parts from Bricklink.
  9. Nice motorcycle :) How do you prevent the cylinder engine from dropping? In the steps of page 11 I see a few tiles being placed to hold the cylinder, but that is at the top. I see nothing on the bottom to prevent it from scraping the floor.
  10. Ah yes, that makes a lot of sense... the pieces are too thin to be 1x2 rounded plates... xD
  11. Awh, the 1x2 rounded plate does not exist in transparent white :( https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=35480&idColor=2#T=C&C=2 Very nice build tho! I like the custom prints you made. Are you planning on making more modular inserts?
  12. Probably on Instagram tagged with lego_leaks or something. Instagram requires an account now, so I am not going to look for it there... :P Kinda bad that some of the big Technic sets have less mechanics in them than this set from more then 50 years ago: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/785155362819014656/825073589791096853/iu.png
  13. Just tried this, and it does not work :( I will look into these products, thx!
  14. I think something went wrong here and your comment was inserted in the wrong topic.
  15. Hello, I wanted to get rid of stickers from a large batch of Lego, and thought that an easy way of doing that would be to let them stay in a tub of warm water so the stickers would come right of. That idea did not work at all, so do not do that. Removing the stickers was as easy/difficult was it would have been if they did not stay in warm water (I had a few bricks I did without warm water), but the difference is that now all those bricks that had been in warm water left a lot of sticky residue. I already tried: More warm water, this time without the sticker itself, Rubbing alcohol 70% with a piece of toilet paper, Rubbing alcohol 70% with a Q-tip, Warming up the brick with a hair dryer. None of these work. Does someone have another idea?
  16. Thank you for your answer. Interesting history ^^
  17. Thanks! I would have never imagined Lego ever using nuts/bolts!
  18. Which petition was that in 2008? Honestly I do not understand why any of the police sets are being released. Space police, where all the baddies are aliens, sounds like way better. No need for TNT or guns, just laser pistols! What also annoys me is always those prisons, but a proper justice system with judges and a jury might be a little to complex for children.
  19. Does someone know what the use-case is of https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3705b&name=Technic, Axle 4 Threaded&category=[Technic, Axle]#T=C&C=11? Are those threads to make it easier to pull them out?
  20. Nice, you might have the rarest Lego item of people in this topic! How do you know Lego does not have the set in their archives?
  21. Yes, I can now open the topic too :)
  22. When I want to go to "MOC: Pizza restaurant", https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/184248-moc-pizza-restaurant/, I get the following message: Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX0 Other topics open just fine.
  23. I have to disagree with you here, for me looking at paper is a lot easier on the eyes than staring at a screen. Yes I have brightness set relatively low, yes I have f.lux. Paper is still a lot better for me. Except for those black backgrounds, dunno why Lego thinks that is a good idea
