I will die a happy man the day we get Shrek sets. Shrek 5 is their next chance (Supposedly coming out this year) I don't care about trolls! Lol. This theme will probably bring lots of glittery and colorful pieces.

Has anyone added lighting to the whomping willow and great hall? I'm planning on lighting up every room and candle in the GH + WW + CT sets, I'm sure it would look superb!

Thanks for the pics Guyon2002! It looks fantastic. I specially like how you extended the Great Hall and made it taller + added more tables. I too had asked my local lego store employees and they told me they didn't know either, I remember them saying they get information about 3 weeks prior to official release.

August?!? Noooo! If that's the case I'm getting revenge by buying all 5 the same day! ? I remember being mostly disappointed the day these pics came out, and now here I am more excited than ever before. Man I have issues. Bless that man and his talented team.

Thanks for the recs guys, I will probably find a way to build an alternative model with the whomping willow as I find it to be too wide for how empty it looks (I do want rooms for the teachers anyway)... or perhaps re-arrange the sections, I don't like the suggested GH + WW version by LEGO. Laughing at Yule Harry and Cedric standing there by themselves awkwardly watching the others dancing ? I wonder why they didn't put them together (It would've been a fun move by TLG) I mean, Fleur + Ron? ? Anyway, not trying to start a debate here... That amazon video really made the set interior look pretty dull, but at least the Yule Ball things and the minifigs make up for it.

I'm soo hyped!!! I will get 4/5 of the sets! And now I'm thinking of picking up the quidditch match and hogwarts express sets! I'm unsure about the Whomping willow because even though I want to have a big Hogwarts, this set is pretty meh. I only have the great hall and all the CMFs.

Is there currently a face that looks like the one Fleur will have (Ellie sattler's) but the mouth is closed and upset? (meaning it isn't her 2nd expression) Basically a 3rd expression of the same face? I saw it on someone's Instagram story yesterday I think but forgot to post about it.

Haha I could care less about Fantastic Beasts but I guess that is the reason why we even got a HP reboot in the first place. I really hope that the $55 set isn't the graveyard duel. I could say that it better have the third task included but I would rather have another PoA set instead of their third task outfits, or second task but I guess it isn't happening. (I would love mermaids, shark Krum and Gillyweed Harry) Is the prefect's bathroom a hint maybe? :O

I don't know how the distribution in each day of the advent calendar is, so judging from the picture with white background, how many days are being displayed there? I just hope most of the surprises are Hogwarts props not mini builds.

I really like the sets that we are getting but the rooms are way too small :/ I wish we could get separate rooms as individual sets or something. We haven't gotten an accurate Dumbledore's office or DADA classroom, they're both very iconic and awesome. I'm really looking forward to seeing more unique faceprints and hair/headpieces for the characters.

I was surprised with the fine printing on Edna's face. CMFs face prints are usually very thick, but hers looked like set quality.

That would be cool. Perhaps a set with Grawp (Maybe using Hulk's mold) A dirty Umbridge and a Centaur (two sounds unlikely). The set could have a rope shooting feature to tie down the centaur, idk.

I warmed up more to these sets, and I just realized, the clock tower is huge. That next to the great hall and whomping willow will look great. I don't like the whomping willow set much but I will get it just to have one gigantic set ? And the advent calendar addition will make it look even cooler! I was thinking of buying the D2C hogwarts to mod the GH, WW and CT and make then bigger, as well as to create other rooms but damn, I've become too lazy to innovate with lego and I don't know if it's going to be worth it considering the price.

Yeah that's true, but the disappointments won't stop me from buying at least 3 sets anyway :D lol. But the cons at least gave me more patience, meaning I'm not crazy for these and want them now. These come out in a month basically don't they?

Okay, I like the expecto patronum set the best I think. I feel like the triwizard set is missing something. Probably some rock scenery, or the spectator stand from the 2005 set. The tent looks too lazy/custom in a bad way. Minifigures are nice, surprisingly I don't mind the horntail, I like it!. Hagrid's Hut looks plain, but the details like pumpkins and minifigure count is nice. And the clock tower is a disappointment more than anything. I loove the yule ball details like the tables and the dance feature, but other than that the rooms are too "squished" and I don't like the boring layout they're displayed in. That coupled with the exterior, again, looks custom and not in a positive way... it looks too blocky and simple compared to the great hall. I hate Hermione except the torso, I thought that given the icon that that outfit is (and the reason why we didn't see any leak), she would get a new hairpiece and new face... and printed legs would've been better than a brick with a plate underneath!! ? The other figures are very nice, although I would've liked Fleur to use a bun to appear more elegant. Using a ponytail for a bun sounds like a 2002 thing to do like with Mary Jane in the oriental dress. And I never cared about any version of the knight bus. I wouldn't give it away if it were gifted though.

Great news! I really wished the patronum set had multiple dementors I'm guessing Sirius' Hair is still Luke's? And that's great news about the horntail! How did Fleur's hair look different?
