I love the silver masks! And the detailing and layers of their outfits are amazing! The death eaters from GoF got nothing on the ones from Ootp. Sadly, I too think they’re done for the year... but it’s the best year for HP so far! Can’t complain

Yes! I liked the previous one but we really need trans green flames this time, that's one of the most important details of the burrow. The 2010 one was pretty good, but you could barely even put your fingers inside the rooms. LMAO. Molly was awesome, I'm worried they pull a Bellatrix on her too :( (No leg/skirt printing and recycled face) Touché! Plus, they will still owe us several Ginnys anyway So dear LEGO, don't even think of skipping any of her variants

I would love these two especially! I really want a detailed common room! By the way, if HP keeps selling well, we could get a revamp yet again of the main trio for CoS. This time a more accurate hairpiece for ron and hermione at least. Hermione’s hairpiece from the great hall is super accurate for philosopher’s stone, but in CoS she has much more defined, tighter curls (and is less poofy) As for ron, his middle part hair needs to be shorter and more swept to the sides. I’m a suucker for character accuracy. The atrium would be awesome to get! But how would the disguises work? Dual sided heads with extra hairpieces? I’m still lowkey hoping for a Veil battle set this year I really want more death eaters in their awesome robes and masks. Also, for goblet of fire I’d be happy if we get remaining figures from the yule ball in a future CMF, or advent calendar (Patil twins, Cho, Neville) And I don’t care much for a third task set, but a lake task would be great (mermaids!)

Okay, I’m not trying to sound greedy (well maybe I am) but what are the probabilities of getting yet another set for HBP, this time small? (Or even another for Ootp) It’s still odd to me that the 2nd wave is completely expensive, if it turns out being true. I always count out brickheadz and such, but the Hedwig isn’t even rumoured to come out in the 2nd wave Lastly, I think Ootp needs a bit more love :p

Oh so there it is, the betrayer is Lockhart and the father is Lucius Stiiill I know, we should take it with a grain of salt just in case. I’ll take a wild guess and say only Rita and Lucius will be in the CMF. Lockhart could be in the rumoured DA, and Molly, Ginny and tonks in the rumoured Burrow. But literally anything is possible! (Except for rita, sorry rita)

New clue on IG: "A father-son relationship is important"

Just yesterday I started wishlisting about sets for DH! Here's mine: BIG SETS Malfoy Manor: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dobby, Luna, Narcissa, Bellatrix, Draco, Griphook and Lucius. Shell Cottage: Bill, Fleur, Ron, Harry, Hermione, Griphook and Luna. MEDIUM SETS Final Battle: We could finally get the courtyard here, and it could have removable pieces and sections, as well as play features to make the courtyard "blow up". Includes Voldemort, Harry, Neville, Nagini and a couple of death eaters. Escape from Gringotts: With a small mine carts section with a play feature (like the temple of doom from Indiana Jones) and the Dragon area. Harry, Ron, Hermione, a goblin and the Ukranian ironbelly. Xenophilius' house: Xenophilius, Harry, Ron, Hermione and a death eater. Wedding clash: Bill, Fleur, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Elphias Doge and a death eater. SMALL SETS Forest tent: Harry and Hermione (omitted Ron for the sake of not being repetitive) Gryffindor's Sword: A couple of trees, Ron, Harry and the sword. Escape from the room of requirements: Harry, Draco and Goyle.

Same issue with Hermione She has a light brown hair that goes even lighter throughout the movies, but the regular brown is the color they’ve always used for her I guess.

I hadn’t thought of that! It would be super accurate. By the way, do you guys think Ginny will reuse her 2010 hairpiece? It’s still the most accurate straight hair I think.

Because the recycled face isn’t very accurate for her, it’s too serious, “classy”... or delicate for Bellatrix. Bellatrix is wild, crazy, constantly cackling. So IMO the 2010 one was better. Curious to see what the other side of her CMF looks like, in case she has one.

At this rhythm, we will probably get even more leaks tomorrow (or hints) Who knows.. If the rumored sets turn out to be true, this could be my favorite HP year. But I’m most excited about the brand new sets (not the remakes) Especially Ootp

Loove the new clearer pictures of Luna, Bellatrix, Fenrir and the centaur. I specially like Fenrir and Luna! Also, I dislike Bellatrix a bit less now.

Exactly! You know that feeling of first sight with minifigures? When we saw the minifigs from the Burrow back in 2010 for the first time, we all fell in love with them, they all had their own identity, uniqueness and newness. However, seeing this new Bellatrix felt like seeing a custom, something old, or without her resemblance. I’m probably rambling and exaggerating, but yeah. Oh well, at least she got a CMF spot.

Yup! It would be very funny getting our very first Ginny since the reboot in bathroom robes But in all seriousness, 4 Looney Lovegoods and not even a rumoured Ginny! If the burrow is happening, she is MEANT to be there. Although Ginny also goes to the slug club christmas party... So I hope the lineup for AT isn’t official. As for the waistline on Luna’s torso, they probably thought the inclusion of the cork necklace was too specific for her anyway, no? The designers love Luna I appreciate the consistency of her accurate facial features in all versions though, I hope she has yet another expression on the back.

At $100, it’s only fair we get the complete list of characters from the scene, which is just 2 on top of the previous 6 (Lupin and Tonks) It doesn’t seem far-fetched to be honest.

You know, it’s funny they used Mantis’ head for Bellatrix, considering the other side of the face looks exaactly like Narcissa She really needed a skirt print, it’s conflicting how the printing on the torso just ends so abruptly, there’s no continuity. I really like Fenrir, I used to think that that hairpiece was inaccurate back then, but the truth is the character had very little hair so, there are not many options. As for Luna, well I don’t love the fact that she’s missing the skirt haha. Overall, not too excited about these, I certainly expected a lot more for Bellatrix, but I know they’re being way more generous with minifig count and variants, and the sets have topped any previous version. BTW, I know many of these minifigures could be improved with your own pieces, in the end that’s what LEGO is about... modifying, creating, etc. But my exaggerated “purism” falls into a sort of nonexistent, lazy, “stick to the status quo” creativity, and I hate it! I miss being a child and actually being creative?

The hogwarts castle was $129 But still, the price increase is insane, so we will probably get WWW and quidditch supplies at least. At $129 and being fairly big, the possibilities for the $399 one excite me.

If we don’t get said small set, then I hope we get Borgin & Burkes with Lucius, Cissy and Bellatrix (in case we don’t get the burrow) The retail price for 2011 diagon alley was around 150 USD, or am I wrong? If it was, then this new one is a lot more expensive, so I expect A LOT! Btw, I hope this pandemic ends soon or otherwise my savings will be for my survival and not for LEGO I work as a graphic designer for several nightclubs across the nation, and of course they’re all closed

I’m currently failing at it haha. I will probably just avoid the final pictures, my curiosity is killing me. Well whenever I wanted a toy I would go directly to the store, never really had catalogues or saw commercials I don’t know why. The centaurs look good, I’m just curious as to why they chose that long “sleek” hair? They have shorter, fuzzier hair in the movies. Doesn’t bother me though. Also, I hope we get printed legs instead of skirts in the room of requirements set. Cho’s uniform looks good, but it would be better if they were able to sit.

Random question... a very odd one. Has anyone ever tried not looking for leaks or updates and instead went directly to the store the day a new wave is released? You know, for the excitement/surprise factor you’d usually get as a kid. I’m personally trying to do it with this wave, because let’s be honest, whatever the sets end up looking like, I will buy everything
