By any chance are there legs with a print that fits Slugorn’s torso design? Also, if anyone here got their hands on the lavender figure already and happens to have the pink batgirl skirt, please share a pic of those together! Wow that sucks, sorry to hear that.

Sets will be released in July here (maybe later this month in some stores/supermarkets) but since I don’t have the other sets with me atm I’m not too excited about getting them just yet.

I’m still confused about this. Anyway, I still hope we at least get Lockhart, Lucius and Ootp Tonks.

I mean there’s one spot left already counting both twins, but having Hermione I don’t think we’ll get another female character so maybe it will be Karkaroff or even Myron Wagtail? Neville is possible too but then as you said he’ll have no dance partner (Plus he isn’t that different from Harry)

Don’t get me wrong, I expect and want her to come in the set lol. But since they have a less important role than F&G I thought LEGO leaving out Parvati didn’t seem too far-fetched. I kind of wish they included Cho or Ginny instead of Hermione, there’s basically one spot left and who knows who will it be.

When did you guys say the advent calendar was officially revealed last year? Right now I’m most interested in that haha. Is it likely at all that they will leave out the other twin?

Well I’ve seen it in the bed stickers, the weird sisters poster, the W and the Egypt portrait in a few reviews. Dunno if it was intentional but it would be odd either way. They have this aliased texture that I haven’t seen in stickers before, they’re always perfectly smooth and anti-aliased.

I’ve seen in a few reviews of the burrow that the stickers seem to have very bad quality Like a cheap home printer quality. Can anyone who already got their hands on the burrow comment on it?

What I’m trying to say is that I don’t see the Christmas gathering as a set on its own, however a Grimmauld Place set is the perfect excuse just like the clock tower and astronomy tower. Perhaps it is indeed coming like that and kingnono said AC just to protect employees or something? Idk.

Kingnono’s very first posts were real info as far as I remember (he deleted a few including a Marvel one) but I’m starting to believe he loved the growing attention on his account so things got out of control shortly after and he found a way to keep the attention going: lying Also, remember how he said “only a funny meme” in one of his first posts? Yeah it’s gone now. Not gonna lie, I still want to believe his clues are somewhat real but for example I don’t see HOW the christmas setting in Grimmauld place would happen outside an advent calendar...? By the way, didn’t a trusted leaker say “there is a lot coming” regarding HP once the first wave was already rumoured? Perhaps we can expect more sets either way?

I just noticed something else so I’m not sure anymore but I will shut up about her hair now When this AC was first rumoured to be Ootp themed I thought of the scenes in Grimmauld Place and said “more tables, presents and pine trees?” Irrelevant to discuss now, but I’m curious to read what kind of builds you guys expected back then.

I really don’t think it’s that one, that particular friends hairpiece looks VERY flat on minifigures and has some curls, the one in the AC doesn’t have that odd limp look and is 100% straight. Sorry for looking too much into it It’s this piece they look the same in that angle. My bad. Cho Patil would be phenomenal to get as well. I mean Cho Chang.

I’m likely looking too much into it, but is Parvati’s hair a new/friends piece? Sure, it looks like the Hermione AT piece at first sight (At least to me) but if you zoom in there’s a middle part going on and the hair falling over the shoulder sticks out backwards a lot more. I made a comparison looking at the piece in black on my hand.

The lighter stripe has darker pink below, so the stripe could very well be leg bits and the shoes a darker pink.

I like to believe the fig next to Ron is one of the twins, but the darker skin tone and hair could be a weird shading thing? And her hair looks black, but look at Ron’s... it looks darker as well so of course it would look black next to his. Also, her skirt has this lighter colored stripe at the bottom, the twins don’t have that. Weird... It makes more sense for her to be one of the Patil twins, but I mean Dumbledore danced with Maxime in the Clock tower set so logic is sort of irrelevant here

Yes, her hair choice for the 2010-2011 wave was very inaccurate. The closest we currently have for Deathly Hallows is cho’s but it’s still very inaccurate. I would also like a HBP variant.

Someone on Youtube has reviewed the room of requirement and got duplicates of Harry’s torso instead of Hermione’s, odd.

So the pillow slopes in the AT are actually aqua, me likey. The review made me like the set a lot more! I’d personally find a face that suits Draco more (his expression is fine but I think the bushy black eyebrows are throwing me off) Change Slughorn’s hair and put batgirl’s pink skirt on Lavender.

I loove them, but I’ve only tried imported products. I’m pretty sure some of the higher end bakeries make them but I rarely ever come across one. Unpopular opinion but I would’ve liked it hah. However, white does indeed make more sense. 2nd unpopular opinion: I like how the rooms are not enclosed, they remind me of the older Hogwarts rooms. But yeah I know the window frames in tan would’ve been best.

Are the pillow slopes in the ravenclaw dorm really a light teal color or is it a weird shadow/reflection going on? I’m just realizing how many food pieces are in this AT set BTW. 6 dragon tartare/cupcake thingies, 3 buns/cookies and 3 stroopwafels. Mhmm.

What about humidity? What makes minifigures become incredibly stiff? And how can I avoid pieces from becoming brittle? There are some minifigure parts that aren’t thaat stiff, but I can sort of hear them creaking once I’m separating the legs from the torso for example.

Hi, new to the topic but I have some things to say. I’ve kept my older LEGO stored in my parents house back when I Iived with them (Dark ages, college blabla) I started collecting lego again last year after 5 years in a different city, but due to the COVID crisis it was best for me to be with my parents again (I left my new bricks safe with someone) This city I came back to is VERY hot and humid, it’s located at the very south of the state next to the gulf of Mexico and just below Texas (Tamaulipas); I’m about 15-20 minutes away from the beach. My lego pieces have been stored in a dark closet for several years in what used to be my room, but my dad has been working with his computer on a desk there even before I left for college so the room has been kept cool most of the time (all day at least) The room has a moderate temperature even without the air conditioner on; there is no direct sunlight. My newest pieces and minifigures from that collection have been kept like new (2010-2013) and I even have some from 2002-2006 with like new printing. The thing is, they’re stiff as f**k, and now they are snapping! Hips, torsos, etc, in a way I never thought would be possible. They are so brittle! This is a nightmare since I did what I thought was best, and now very valuable minifigures are becoming trash, just like that. I’m so mad, for a moment I feel like I even regret spending so much money on LEGO. I don’t know what to do, is there a way to make the bricks less brittle so they don’t snap? A way of loosening up minifigure joints?

Nice pack! I would’ve preferred they gave us more black characters like Angelina Johnson or Lee Jordan, but ok. Also, I’m kinda mad they “sort of” reused Cho Chang’s CMF face but at least I can have patil twins now! I kind of wish LEGO had a flesh toned Build a minifigure
