  1. Following on from it's successful collaboration with Hasbro on Optimus Prime, LEGO will now be producing LEGO-branded Mega Bloks...
  2. Same! My Dec 5th order arrived today with two dark grey classic space helmets, and I also thought I'd ordered black. I'm fairly sure there wasn't an image when I ordered, but the colour said black. However, there are now both black and dark grey ones - with images - on Pick a Brick. And my order has the dark grey code. Really curious. I have one or two classic black ones from back in the day, but they have the classic cracked chin. I can wait to replace them though.
  3. True, but I agree with @JeanGreyForever, there's still that small amount of speculation, so, as with all leaks, don't get your hopes up too much, just in case. But it's certainly enticing.
  4. The UK doesn't have Wal-Mart, but you could consider this close to it (without the fresh food groceries) although on a much smaller scale. But it's where you'll get remainder shipments, perhaps like Costco, so pricing can be aggressive. The yellow lion knight's shield and most of the table football heads are back in stock. Curious that they're adding things incrementally, rather than a large restock.
  5. The wonderful thing about all the films is that they are all clearly in on the joke too. They have playfulness to them throughout the adventure. That translates well to options for the sets too, so I hope there are fun elements to reflect it. I'm also really looking forward to the new sets, as I've been waiting to watch the Indy series again for several months, and decided that I was going to have them on while building at least one of the new sets.
  6. Honestly, I prefer it. It looks better with the rest of the piece, compared to the super smooth ball. And whilst I'm here, love your work!
  7. The Forestman's Hideout GWP was promoted as being available twice from the start (although I suspect most people were caught unawares that it only lasted a day second time around and thought it would be like another full release). They didn't say that for Blacktron, so who knows. It might. Or it could come back as a stealth thing for a few hours, as some have done in the past. Or maybe as a VIP reward for points. Or just not at all.
  8. The leak of Stitch gives me hope that the full list is real. And that being the case, it's both an extremely good list, and great that these are still in bags, so I can get the ones I want.
  9. That makes a lot more sense, thank you!
  10. Same for me. I'd better clear a lot of space, because when all these orders arrive, it's going to take a long time to unpack them all... Hmmm... which one am I most excited to get (again)? Probably my PAB order with 1000x 32607 leaf pieces of various colours. Or maybe Ninjago City Gardens, so that it would force me into making a Ninjago MOC.
  11. This isn't showing on the US PAB, but it looks like in Europe there are indeed limits appearing on PAB items: [PAB] I guess this is LEGO's response to hoarders... : lego (reddit.com)
  12. I love Hachiroku's diorama of this, and the brick-built boulder looks OK to me. It would be great to incorporate more slopes and curves to it than just a traditional LEGO brick-built ball, and would also allow colour variety. But yes, it wouldn't roll very well (if at all), so depends on whether they are prioritizing play/functionality. The Technic ball seems too smooth and uniform to my eyes.
  13. Hurrah! My Dec 9 order has shipped today.
  14. I've not seen anything to that effect, but I'm also staying out of the whole theme discussion. I was simply answering the question rather than voicing an opinion!
  15. Icons is the new name for Creator Expert. It's the theme where the modulars sit, along with things like the DeLorean Time Machine and ECTO-1.
  16. They could have it flying overhead? I'm glad they've gone for this. It's the most iconic scene and is most likely to draw people in. Also a decent size to allow them to do it really well.
  17. Only two torsos and one legs left, but both bardings available. I'll wait, as I'm in no rush for these things and there's not quite enough to make an order. Interestingly, the candy cane from the CMF is up on there (6389611) for $1.66 each! Glad I was able to get a load of them from the BAM tower, where it's only $0.67 each.
  18. Had an email back from customer service today about replacing old pieces from old sets (my brittle reddish brown and dark red woes), and they said: So I shall be ordering tiles and plates for the Fire Brigade and Sea Cow. Started putting a parts list together for an updated Palace Cinema limo, as the standard one is just so poor compared to the modern cars, so hopefully that will push me over the spending thresholds, unless they do suddenly release all the new parts.
  19. Here's something then. If the larger set is indeed an 18+ diorama of the Raiders opening scene, do you think it will have movement/play features. So far the dioramas have been static, except for the Death Star trash compactor. It feels like a wasted opportunity with such a large base, so I wonder if they'll incorporate a mechanism in there to make things happen, perhaps all on the turn of a handle. What kind of functions would you like to see?
  20. Nice! I love the Arctic Roller, but as the other post says, it's too large. This is terrific. Might have to get heavily inspired by your model if/when we get a Cruella minifigure.
  21. I don't normally comment on something I've not read, but it's this forum, and Promobricks, so I figured it was OK. But now I've read it, and it's not Promobricks' list, but someone else's, which they think is believable, as they know some of the characters to be in production. That tempers my enthusiasm for this a lot. The change to 18 figures is really cool, but will they do that? And Pocahontas suddenly appearing? As they say, it's a very believable list, but I'm lowering my expectations until another source comes up with it, or we see photos. Which is a shame. I'd love to see it!
  22. That's a pretty fabulous list. I don't want all of them, but many. And the variety is terrific, so definitely feels like something for everyone there. So glad they went with 18 instead of 12.
  23. That's a shame. Unless they've done something clever with lots of 1x2 and 1x1 pieces to create a mist of the patronus being cast, to bump up the piece count? Hopefully?
  24. It's got the right audience and subject matter to be a series of 18+ sets over several years. Indy's core audience are now AFOLs, which LEGO targets a lot. They may have jumped the shark a bit recently, but look at the success of the DeLorean Time Machine, Ecto-1, and Optimus Prime (possibly). Old franchises that appeal to those 35+ with decent amounts of money to spend (some of them). I could definitely see it having a home in Icons, or just being a set every 1-2 years in it's own small theme.
  25. I've been going through my parts wanted list to see if I have enough to place an order. Sadly, I don't, so still waiting for the new parts to be stocked. Searching through the website, sorting by new, I cam across the car doors in light yellow, which would be cool to make into a car and found that the left door (6400295) is 52c, compared to the right door (6400297) at 36c. What is going on there? I cannot understand why one side would be more expensive than the other. So bizzare.
