Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Yesterday it just said coming soon so I figured it might happen next week. Too bad they decided to break it for the VIP double points promo. Hopefully it won't take too long to come back up. -

Darn, should have placed that order last night. Was planning to do it tonight to take advantage of double points promo. Hopefully prices won't increase too much when it's back up. -

Those kittens sure are tiny! But I did order a few more and more squirrels. Now I need to put together another order for when double points goes live on Saturday including the red brown horses. I wonder how those blue skull torsos might work for some Death Eaters. -
The Disneyland store had lots of the light blue brick costume last week. Was able to piece together the Clown & cake suit also although I don't know if I have the right heads for the brick suit or cake guy. Since they have everything jumbled up in their BAM tower finding heads isn't easy unless they're obviously more distinctive in color or printing.

It's now been 8 weeks for my Jan. 10 order. USPS claims it arrived in Denver Saturday but they haven't received it from the Shipping Partner Facility yet. I think this is the longest I've ever waited. I have to keep referring back to my orders to try not to buy things I already have ordered. I keep missing things though because I've started some orders and never completed them due to some parts I really want having been out of stock at the time I was looking or accidentally closing the page & loosing the whole cart. I really need to organize & keep better lists. -

Dang, I just placed a parts order earlier. I ordered some of the reddish brown one but I didn't think to check to see if there were other colors available or I would have ordered some of the darker ones. -

I heard it would be sometime in March here in the US. The original article I read said late February for us but when I called CS a couple of weeks ago I was told March with no specific date. -
Just got back from the Disneyland Lego store. They don't have the Fairy, Magenta Bear or Easter Chick parts. Unfortunately their BAM tower has everything totally mixed together so it was beastly trying to locate what I could find of the newer pieces. I managed to get two of the pinkish red balloon dogs and they had loads of the pig. Couldn't find the Violin and I didn't see the Year of the Tiger tile. Some of the older stuff from last year they had some parts but not everything for each figure. I never managed to get the Dachshund and sadly they didn't have the pie with sprinkles unless you did the Create your own Minifigure. There were loads of options for that including the Shark head & a white Chicken Head and also some other accessory parts. I prefer being able to chose my own parts because some of the accessories aren't of interest to me. I also try to find some of the more unique heads because I have so many different yellow ones already. When I find different ones like the Pumpkin head or any that are a different color than the basic yellow or have unique features like the animal print style faces I'll try grab some of those. Even the figures I did today I chose some random legs for rather than the Brown & Light blue they had for the Cake Suit Guy & the Brick Suit Girl and I also chose some different hair pieces.

I think I'd be more tempted to get a Dejarik set over a Quidditch set but I wouldn't get either at those prices. The SW D2C & UCS sets are mostly way more than I'm willing to spend on any one Lego set although I'm sorely tempted by the Cantina. Diagon Alley was a stretch but cashing in VIP points really helped. I already got 4 of the 2018 Quidditch set to try to create the whole pitch at some point and I've got enough Gryffindor & Slytherin players. I think I have about half a Hufflepuff team so Ravenclaw is the tough one at this point. If they ever did give us a Quidditch Player accessory pack I'd end up with half of them being a lot of unnecessary extras unless they change the uniforms to the later version once Ron was on the team. I'd prefer just about anything else for the $470 D2C set.

I'm happy with the sets that have been announced other than the Dragon since I'm not a fan of brick built creatures. Will be curious to see what figures we do actually get in each set. Have to agree the Ministry set figures listed seem a bit off unless they are trying to give us some from different movies than the scene they actually are depicting with the build. It would have been a good way for us to get another Percy since one of the upcoming books has a Percy Figure. I'm holding out hope the $120 set definitely isn't another set of buildable figures. The only buildable figure I might consider would be Dobby but not at that price point. I hope the rumors are correct that the $120 set is a playset. Still looking forward to seeing what the $470 set will be. Really hoping it will be Gringotts & Leaky Cauldron. Curious if we will be getting a GWP at some point too since we've gotten at least one each year so far since 2018.

They're just toying with us now.

So what is the actual time of the Full Moon in Germany today?

I'm sure there is some way to have a calculation of how much any given B&P order should weigh if they want. My order while missing the 50 profile bricks did contain several extra parts including 3 1x4 profile bricks, an elf hat, a spare butterfly and an extra 2x2 box. I doubt the weight was equivalent to what it should have been with the correct number of each part I ordered but the extras certainly cost less than what was missing. -
Hey, the full moon theory was just a wild guess on my part in an attempt to have a bit of fun while we wait! But I won't be eating my hand or a broom if it doesn't happen tomorrow.

My December 28th order arrive on Saturday so just over 6 weeks. Unfortunately the 50 reddish brown profile bricks I ordered and was charged for were missing from the order. The warehouse only had 17 in stock so now I have to wait for the March restock before they can ship them. January 10th order is still in warehouse, that's the one with most of the new animals so hopefully everything will be there whenever it arrives. -
I know but they really should consider it sometimes.

Well at least tying the news release (leak) to an actual full moon takes a bit more creative thought than just coinciding with the season finale episode of a SW show. Maybe Lego should consider doing the same like actually releasing some new SW sets on May the 4th. So besides Back to Hogwarts & Harry's birthday, which are fairly close together, what important dates should be considered for HP releases and news?
-
The full moon is on February 16 so maybe that is their reveal date? I'd be happy with Werewolf Lupin, Sirius & a new Dobby set among the releases for this year.
-
My FOMO dictates I not wait too long to purchase the March wave sets but I must wait for a decent GWP or discount before biting the bullet. I snagged all the Moments sets last year right away from Target with only their 5% redcard discount only to have the 20% discounts show up a couple of months later. I hesitated on the Day 1 scramble to see them sell out at lego.com within an hour.

Darn, I was working on an order the other night with a few of the new Globe pieces but never finished. My late December one has shipped but not my January 10th one. I do have a shipment of a few sets out for delivery today from Feb. 1. -

I have a December 27 & a January 10 order still in warehouse. Orders from late November have been received & they were fairly quick, both shipped within 7-10 days. -
We already got the micro scale DA GWP so to me even a more extensive one would be redundant and pale in comparison to what we got in minifig scale two years ago. I could only see it as a possibility if it were a diorama that included Knockturn Alley & multiple streets like the maps that have been created . I don't buy microscale so anything they offer in that vein is money saved for me. They did wow me with the Icons set but I hope that was a one off & we get something Minifig scale this time as long as it's not a Quidditch Pitch.
