What if we get Gringotts with the Iron Belly on top or down in the vault area and the vaults below with a mine cart or two with some sort of motorization for the mine carts on the track? That could be the ultimate D2C Gringotts and possibly justify the high price tag. I'd love a highly detailed Leaky Cauldron with the Wall but unless it comes with the other side of DA or part of Knockturn Alley I can't see it being the D2C. The only other options for the D2C I can envision are a motorized Hogwarts Express with both the King's Cross Station & Hogsmeade Station or a highly detailed Quidditch Pitch or a micro scale version of either of these.

But the HP ones don't come every year and now we're getting Marvel two years in a row making it look like an annual thing.

I think the higher prices are because they are raising prices all around due to higher production costs.

I think it would have looked better if they had used the gold tone ones if they didn't want to use the black. Leaded windows aren't white so to me these just look awful. I think you are right about the blackboard. The fancy sides & base made me think Boggart Cabinet but wrong professor anyway.

So why the heck are they using white for the window grills in the Hospital Wing instead of the normal black? Guess I'll need to stock up on black ones to replace the ugly white. Nice that they include the Boggart cabinet in the DADA book.

Considering Marcos supposedly resigned as the Head Supervisor/Lead for the Harry Potter line I don't know why everyone keeps harping on that one paraphrased interview that happened after he'd resigned. If he isn't in charge anymore I don't think he's really in any position to comment on what is upcoming or not. Personally I think it was slightly more interesting when he didn't answer the Gringotts question but got that huge grin on his face back when they did the Diagon Alley interview.

I managed to barely get an order in just before midnight. Had been working on it all afternoon & accidentally closed the page just before dinner so I had to start all over again. I ended up forgetting a few items I wanted so hopefully next time when some other parts are back in stock. Lioness has finally become available so I did order a couple of her.

I don't think any of this year's sets will be better priced than 20% off until after the holidays. I already had one Polyjuice set but I wanted another and was hoping to find the two frog card tiles I was missing. No luck with the Polyjuice set on that score but I did find the ones I was missing today. My local Target has supposedly had the Hermione polybag in stock all of this past week. First two trips were total strike outs. Today I found someone putting out stock and asked her if they had them in the back because their website said they had them. She went to check and came back out with about 3 dozen of them for me to look through. Was able to finally find Griffyndor & Bertie Botts. I also grabbed a couple of doubles of a few other ones to try for two complete sets. I think I only still need one more Griffyndor now and will be able to complete two wall tiles for the two Dorm GWP sets I have if I can find a second of him eventually.

I got it price matched @ Target the other day for the same price.

That makes sense since I don't see any signs of anti-studs which a plate would have. The wall panels would also allow for the space needed for the fish that appear to be under the surface.

So what size do we think those trans opal tiles are in the Ice Festival set? Look like at least 6x6 to me. Some of these pieces may make buying at least 2 of this set seem like a bargain vs. buying select parts from B&P.

Loving the torsos with different colored hands. They will be good to use to populate Hogsmeade with generic students in winter coats for HP. Hopefully they won't be as expensive on B&P as the Blue sweater torso is. I will need the white krydshul & crown piece to make winter trees. Looks like January will be an expensive B&P month. Hoping the trans blue opal penguin won't be too expensive because I'll be needing a flock of those.

I have interest in Brickheadz unless they are a GWP. A new accessory pack would be nice.

I check every time I go there or Walmart but no luck so far. Hopefully once they put out their stocking stuffer displays I'll find it.

GWP is live online in the U.S. I cashed in VIP points for a $100 voucher and ordered the Chamber of Secrets. If I get to the store next weekend & they still have the Polybag available I'll see if I can spend enough to get the it but if not hopefully I'll find it for sale somewhere else.

I can't find any confirmation or denial anywhere. From what I've read LAN inquiries have gone unanswered. I guess the only way to know for sure will be by checking the LEGO website after midnight EDT on the 25th.

Seems like a reference to the second task to me also but who knows? I haven't been able to see the post on Facebook either.

I read the books. I can't really remember how he was described as it's been about a year since I re-read them. Unfortunately movie adaptations rarely stick to the exact details of every character as they are described in the books they are based on, that's just the way it is in the movie making business. I think we are lucky that all 8 movies kept most of the actors that were originally cast in the first one. There have been many adaptations over the years that veered way off course from the author's book series. Game of Thrones and in America, John Jake's North & South trilogy being two glaring examples. Even the later Harry Potter movie adaptations left a lot out and created different characters.

So you think he should have been fired for aging gracefully? I much prefer to see actors grow up naturally in their roles over being replaced because they no longer fit a pre-conceived image of how they should look. Females shouldn't be fired for gaining too much weight and no longer fitting the lollipop look directors unreasonably expect them to maintain. Likewise males shouldn't be fired for growing too quickly or too slowly or gaining or not gaining enough weight.

It would be nice if LEGO would address this issue so we know what is actually going on rather than just remove the GWP offers from the online store calendars without explanation. My guess is a supply chain issue or they are finally listening to us & want to hold off to release these with whatever their big upcoming announcement is about. Most likely it's the supply chain issues. I've been holding off purchasing the latest releases just so I can get the GWP. Another possibility is they realized the demand for this GWP will be such that it really needs to be a set we can purchase rather than a limited GWP.

Drat, I just placed an order last night. Need to add these to my wishlist, somehow I missed the angler fish but I did get the Blue hair. I tried the old number for the globe head last night with no luck but at least I already got some of those, was hoping to get a few more.

This list seems a bit more likely. I was thinking of the Ariel, Belle, Tiana, Cinderella Storybook. Decided I wasn't getting involved in the micro doll stuff so I didn’t remember which princesses were in it. I really wish they would revisit Brave so we could get another set with Merida as long as it's the regular size. I missed out on the first set and am reluctant to buy used since most reasonably priced listings appear to be missing parts and/or Merida.

This is a strange list. The only way those Anna & Elsa Castles make sense is if they are like the other princess ones they did a few years back that were basically a single archway, window or turret build with the Princess and a couple of accessories. That price point is way too low otherwise. Yet another Ariel set does nothing for me. Didn't they just do a Jasmine & Mulan storybook mash-up?

Glad I held off on buying most of the summer wave. Hopefully the sets I haven't gotten yet will still be in stock to order when this GWP becomes available.

My Walmart had an empty box sitting on the shelf about a week ago. Asked a stock person if there were anymore in back and was told probably not but some would probably get restocked in a day or two. Nothing in Target so far. I need to find some of the ones I'm missing so I can swap for the doubles I got in the two 6 pack boxes I ordered from Target so I've been resisting checking my local Barnes & Noble. Walmart online stock check claims they have them in my local store but they must be hiding them in the stockroom because I'm in there several times each week but I've yet to find any and asking the help in store hasn't yielded any success so far.
