I guess we'll be waiting a bit longer for that Quidditch pack we all thought we were getting. I'm happy they surprised us with this different group though. I'm thinking it might be meant to be some of the Leaky Cauldron patrons. Nice to get some generic figures for Diagon Alley. I'll be getting a few of these and mixing some parts around to make more shopping wizards.

Definite pass for me unless they are a GWP.

Since it appears placed with potion bottles in two of the Hogwarts sets It seems it should be a potion ingredient of some sort. They look like some sort of plant pods but I can't make out the spelling either. I'm figuring a plant pod or root or something like Bezoar Stones or other creature organs used in potion making. The one in the Hogsmeade set is definitely different and says Acid Pops on it.

I probably won't skip it entirely but it is the lowest priority of this wave. I always thought the Fluffy build was horrendous from the first leaks but I'm not bothered by the different heads. Each wave one of the Hogwarts sets is the lowest one on my list and Fluffy is it this time around. It has a large footprint but minimal interesting detail. I'll end up getting it eventually just for the walls. I think the Tail Ø 3,2 would have looked better for the Devil's Snare than the fancy DESIGN ELEMENT, W/ 3.2 SHAFT, NO. 1 they used. To me the most interesting bit is the potions stuff in the tower part. I'm going to try to resist like last year & wait for GWP's or deals for this wave so most likely won't get anything day one unless there is a GWP. I haven't bothered with pre-ordering because I want an incentive to buy.

I was speaking to their business model in general not meant to be specifically about HP. If you think about it we now have at least 3 versions of potions classrooms and related teachers offices as well as 3 or 4 for DADA. I take them as different versions rather than remakes while others would call them remakes. Some on here have complained about multiple different sections of the castle saying we don't need anymore while others are still waiting for dorms, classrooms, Bell Towers, Library. We all want to see certain things come from this theme. Personally I'm mostly happy with what we've gotten so far. I totally agree.

I honestly believe the "Hogwart's Icons" is just a classification term like they did with the "Hogwarts Moments" classification for the books that released in January. I'm curious to see what it will actually be and am reserving judgement and taking the comments from leakers with a grain of salt. I think the Hogwarts Castle set would definitely fall under an icon classification so I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a microscale set.

Unfortunately it seems Lego has determined the shelf life of any given set across all themes is around 2-3 years. Of course if something isn't selling well like Hidden Side they pull it sooner. So their business model seems to be to pretty much recycle everything every 2-3 years. Frustrating for those of us who want more obsure sets as opposed to the 3rd, 4th, 5th iteration of Hogwarts Great Hall or the Ford Anglia.

One can only hope. They do sell the ice cream glass in orange and did briefly offer the clear version before removing it.

I hope they sell they start selling the Butterbeer mug/polyjuice potion on B&P. It would have been nice if there had been at least 2 polyjuice glasses in the bathroom set. Based on the pictures we will only be getting one glass and two potion bottles. At least the mug will be in the Hogsmeade set but I need more of that green variant.

I'm torn on the Chess Set. Was really hoping they'd use actual torso pieces for the upper bodies of at least the king, queen & bishop pieces as well as a proper crown piece for the queens and maybe a new mold for the bishop hat. I'll most likely get it anyway but I think they could have made it a bit more impressive using actual torsos. I get the complaints about no studs to attach the pieces to on the board but I think the set looks a little bit more impressive or classy without the studs.

I found 4 chocolate in addition to 1 pink & 1 white. One Chocolate in Lockhart's office, one by the telescope & two in the Great Hall (one on table & one on the floor). But that's only in the Picture that shows the 3 sets together.

I use Google but, unless I find the correct way to get the page to open up which I think I actually did manage just once, it goes either to the site that never finds the Harry Potter stuff or I have to manually translate the German to English bit by bit.

Thanks, I got that to work but it's a pain having to run everything through a translator.

I've seen the one picture where the sets are all combined but I'd like to see it in color with just that specific set. Also I have zero success trying to view anything posted by stonewars. Searching their website for Harry Potter turns up no results for me.

Why does this stuff always leak while I'm sleeping? I'm pretty impressed with everything for the most part. No interest in the Harry & Hermione set at all so at least I'll save some money there. Fawkes looks really nice so I may have to finally get Hedwig too. Wonder if Fawkes will be a Barnes & Noble exclusive like Hedwig was. I may wait a bit on the Chess Set because I need the other sets first. Looks like I was right about the modular builds for the Hogwarts sets being like what they did with some of the Disney Princess sets. Also guessed right about the Great Hall having the Dueling Scene set up. I still don't like the way they made Fluffy's body but the head looks nice. Curious to see what the interior of the set actually looks like. Hogsmeade set is nice but the buildings seem a little bit too small & cramped for space. Isn't Luna supposed to be a year or two behind the others? Strange they went with her for the Ravenclaw student. One could always swap out the hair to make her a generic student. So here's my rankings though not necessarily my actual buying order: 1 - Chamber of Secrets 2 - Hogsmeade 3 - Polyjuice 4 - Flying Lesson 5 - Fluffy 6 - Chess set 7 - Fawkes 999 - Harry & Hermione

I don't know where you live but have you tried Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble for the Great Hall?

I think at this point the only sure details are it will be $249.99 and will be made of Lego parts and be themed to Harry Potter. Honestly the only insta hashtag I believe right now is really true lego leaks. It's pretty funny.

I see no reason to be "angry" over what the d2c may or may not be. The vague cryptic description we have been given tells me absolutely nothing that would make my mind up as to if I will or won't buy it. Until we have a definitive description and/or pictures I can’t form an opinion either way. Someone saying it is brick built objects tells me absolutely nothing since all Lego is ultimately brick built. In the end it's the execution and subject of the build that matters to me. In each wave there have been sets I really want and some I didn't really care for. Brick headz aren't something I will buy but I won't refuse them as a gwp because it's free parts. Same with the micro scale stuff. Since the Hogwarts Castle is micro scale that was an easy pass for me. As of now Hedwig & Fawkes don't fall into my must have sets. Hedwig does look awesome so I may get her eventually but so far other sets have taken priority. I have zero interest in the Lego Art stuff so that was also an easy pass.

Good, that means 5% discount with the Target redcard.

Since the watermark on the picture doesn't even match his insta name one would think it's really not even his image. I don't know how anyone can even make out anything from that godawful picture. I mean we can hypothesize based on the figure leaks that the three in the middle of the board are Hermoine, Ron & Harry but without guessing one would have no clue that it's them.

If it's the same one I'm seeing, brown table & gray background that's just somebody's modification of the older castle 4842. The old leaked photos of the new sets have a confidential watermark on them.

Golden Quirell has a two sided head to become Golden Voldemort. They are the same figure.

Not to mention Cho & Cedric. Plus all the main characters. Since Moody was in several movies I would expect we will definitely see him again. The CMF was really meant to portray a polyjuiced Barry Crouch Jr.
