  1. My eyes glow in delight at seeing the number of demons ready to be slaughtered, but then I see the baby and freeze. "So that was what the feast was all about! We've got to rescue that baby!" I lurch forward and take a swing at Haagenti the Facetious' Shield with my Splinter Broom (Back Row). "Be prepared to die you abominations." My actions are subject to change by the rest of the party.
  2. I clutch my sword a little more tightly as we enter. "It's dark in here," I say nervously.
  3. If Na'im was at full 25/25 health, then the raw meat should bring it up to 30/30. If he were at 24/25 it would similarly bring it to 29/30.
  4. "I'll go to the dig site too. I haven't found the people all that cooperative as of yet."
  5. What happens on a 7 roll then?
  6. "I wonder if it wouldn't be a bad idea to leave a watch on the room in case the murderer decides to come back. I don't think any of the places we visited will tell us a whole lot more than we know, which is next to nothing."
  7. "You're just like those silly trolls I used to hunt down."
  8. "We were told that she had a son named Wally."
  9. "The 'M' that you found... could it be a 'W' upside-down?"
  10. "Do the Crimson Crown have something against you? They seem to be against magic. Do they consider you magical beings?"
  11. "Hmmm...the monster doesn't seem to have been a large one. I guess there will be no dragon-slaying exploits on this quest."
  12. "They teach you a lot of interesting things at the marketplace." I chuckle. "Sometimes I wonder what they learn some of their skills for! ...Maybe I should try the temple doors next." Happy birthday, Sandy!
  13. "Thank you for you time," I say to the friendly digger as we leave.
  14. "Let me try if this works." I use Craftsmanship to dismantle the door lock trying to be careful.
  15. I follow Ellaria to the imps. "Do you think we should go and get our other party members first?"
  16. "Okay, just give me a few moments."
  17. "Unfortunately, I often find myself in situations that could lead to trouble, but that's because my job is cleaning up the messes other people make. I don't try to get into trouble myself. Do you think the recent murder in your village was caused by the woman getting into something that she shouldn't have? What kind of woman was she? From what the Baron said, she seemed to be a very nice woman, but I heard she had some family-related difficulties, do you think she got mixed up in something she shouldn't have?"
  18. "Perhaps the master wouldn't mind us exploring his castle a bit...what do the rest of you think?"
  19. "I am sorry. I've never met anyone that lived underground before, so I'm just curious. You seem to be a fascinating group. Strange sounds coming from there, huh? Are there usually a lot of dangers accompanied with living down here? Have you seen any weird beasts that don't exist up above? And please don't be offended by my questions. You are such a nice, friendly fellow." I speak charmingly and as diplomatically as I can.
  20. "What does it mean to be the town digger? Are you making the town bigger by digging away at the walls? Have you ever found interesting things in your digs?"
  21. "Well, I have to say that I'm glad he didn't separate us, so we can put our heads together. Damnation, if he's not a sign of demonic activity himself, I wonder what is. There was certainly something odd about him." I move over to the window and poke my head out, looking up, down, out, and to the sides for anything of note.
  22. "I'm sorry that you're having a bad day. I don't think I'll take a drink, unless you have plain water. Are you always this unfriendly to people or have I done something to offend you?"
  23. By the way, great way of switching classes.
  24. "Do you have a lot of visitors in this castle?"
