  1. Also, I know I mentioned it before, but I'm pretty sure the Standard Issue Gladius is not supposed to give 4 SP.
  2. Goodness gracious, this is gorgeous! MayDayArtist strikes once again.
  3. By the way, that Gladiator Helmet is ridiculously cheap. Someone could buy that for 33 gold and sell their Tricorn for 60 gold...just saying.
  4. Yep. I answer for Sylph, "Took them off a Blue Assassin in our last quest. Nasty bit of work really. But we finished him proper. Hammered him myself, I did." For the record, because I forgot to state which weapon I'm using: I attack with my Dual-Staff, both strikes hitting Silver Carp A (Back Row).
  5. I Attack Silver Carp A from the Back Row unless Hybros tells me to target one of the Aepyornis, in which case I'll use the same action on it. I gaze in awe as our little party leader slashes down one of the flightless birds and the great bear with one stab of his sword, while also damaging another one. Scary! is the only thought that comes to mind. I should be at full health as I said, CMP.
  6. I don't know if you want to change it as he didn't directly state that he would equip it, but I'm sure Sylph would have equipped Amma's Medal if DLL had known it would be given to him. Also, can we just assume that Sylph targets Silver Carp A with his Spinning Bolas? He last posted here two days ago. Just want to keep this rolling. "Heh! I've seen these creatures before. Erdathcath and I and the peglegged hero slew dozens of them when trying to set a man and his household free of a curse they were under. Nasty pests, but not good enough to stand in our way!" Just in case they want it that way, if DLL or JimB think it more advisable than I target the Silver Carp and Sylph goes for the ostrich, I will do so from the back row with the Dual-Staff as well.
  7. I don't think so, which is why I think it would make more sense for Nagure to target the Bear, although I wouldn't mind seeing Pretzel's x4 multiplier hitting that bear twice through the Dual-Staff.
  8. I don't know, it seems to say that you can say what kind of spell you want to fling and it's only chosen randomly if you don't select an element to use. Something that I just realized now though, is that it probably means that if you're flinging a darkness spell to begin with that a darkness spell will hit all the enemies rather than, as I previously thought, the mage could select an element of his/her choice should a shield be rolled. In any case, it probably makes more sense that you attack one of the ostriches and Nagure takes on the bear.
  9. I Attack Aepyornis B from the Back Row with my Dual Staff. I healed myself to full health before the fight. With that amount of SP, Stigveladi should go first or second in the battle order, I think. You may want to note that you'll use your Topaz if you roll a Shield. Not sure if you are allowed to do that though.
  10. Okay, I was a bit confused by what JimB said.
  11. Am I right in thinking that the Level of difficulty in the Unlimited Quest battles has nothing to do with the amount of GP earned (unless specific enemies drop GP points)?
  12. I heal myself and follow Hybros to the Raging Rapids.
  13. Hmm...he looks funny... "Yes. Our Party Leader seems to be taking a meditative break. I am sure he will tell us where to go when he has determined himself." I tap my foot impatiently.
  14. "Not a problem," I reply, inspecting the Dual-Staff. Nice hit there," I mention. It felt good to strike down to opponents in one hit. Somehow made me feel useful.
  15. "Why thank you," I gasp in some surprise. It seems the barbaric sort are more willing to loan out goods than good people. Perhaps it's a trap? For a brief moment I pause to wonder how God could bless someone like him. "What...um...race/species...er...are you?" I query. I equip the Fire Amulet. "Stigveladi, you can keep the Ethereal Cloak."
  16. Yeah, it's probably better to just keep as is.
  17. I'm sorry, but this is the awesomest team of Minotaurs ever.
  18. I grimace. "Err...not to be in any disagreement at all, but wouldn't it be better to hit the Butterfly Plains first to cut our way to the Sanctuary. Once we're there we can head out into any part of the Fields without worrying about running out of ether, etc." I nod at Nur and then look at Stigveladi. "I see you have an Aquamarine in your possession. You wouldn't mind hosing this armour off, would you?" Once the deed is done, I fit on the armour. "I chuckle. Well, if we go to the Raging Rapids, and you wear that Crown, I think there would be little need for you to wear the Cloak as well, so, yes, if we go to the Raging Rapids, I'll take it back, if not, you may keep it." If we go to the Raging Rapids, I don the Ethereal Cloak. If we go to the Butterfly Plains, I slip into the Soothing Slippers. Jebediahs, would you mind if Pretzel would borrow the Fire Amulet and the Wooden Shield? The Wooden shield just in case we see enemies dealing Wood-elemental strikes and the Fire Amulet should we encounter beasts.
  19. Both Nur and Pretzel should have gotten triple-XP. "I thank you, Master Dwarf," I say, handing the Medal of Glory back to him. I make a mental note not to get on his bad side. I turn to Nur, "I see that you have some armour that you are not using at present. Any chance that I could borrow it whilst we remain in the Fields?" DLL, I think the Emerald Hood is too useful an artifact to keep in your inventory and not use. Since I assume you won't be using scrolls too much, you may as well equip it, otherwise you could give it to Nur or Hybros.
  20. I repeat my attack. It felt good to meditate, but almost like I was trying to stuff more peace into a filled up spirit. Bah! Am I going to hit anything this battle?
  21. Great pic, DLL! A lot of depth. Seems very involved.
  22. It's the fight against the Croise all over again. Run while you can!!!
  23. I gaze in stunned surprise as first Stigveladi unleashes a blizzard on the opponents that renders all the furry creatures ice cubes, and then a massive rock comes and stands by our side in the battle. "Are you sure this guy is for us!" I cry as I strike at Chesire Cats C and D from the back row with the Dual-Staff.
  24. That's what he says now. The tormenting will soon begin.
  25. The elemental multiplier for Heckz attack should have been multiplied after his level was added. Hence, he should have done 66 damage. Never mind, I see the harlot lost more than 48 health.. Also, Avalanche, should deal Extra Critical Hits, thus dealing 10 damage.
