  1. "Oh, dear, you may be right. He does look rather dark, doesn't he? Where did you get the title "Ghost Buster?" Sounds like modern slang, trying to sound imposing or something." "Dragonslayer? Can't really say I appreciate that much, I just traversed the sea to Dastan in order to cure an ailed dragon. If it's all the same to you, I do feel more proper selling it to the dwarf, but...oh, you're just leaving like that...ah well!"
  2. Deal. I hand Atramor said amount of gold, and rush back to the hall to host the auction.
  3. Very much agree. Although, for fun, instead of having a really powerful boss, you could have a weaker, but lucky boss so it's a different kind of challenge. However, Neutralizers do need to be useful for something.
  4. Seeing Atramor passing by, I double look at him. "You're looking fine in that armour, lad. I overheard you offering somebody a sword in the hall. May I inspect the merchandise, so to speak?"
  5. Two men rush forward desiring my very pokeable wand. Fascinating, I grin. Auction time! I look at the dwarf. "You know, most times, when auctioning the man who places the second bid, places a higher bid than the first."
  6. I stroll by Anwyl's and check around at the price scrap metal is worth. Still 25, those gnomes were trying to pull a fast one on me. I sell my Scrap Metal for 25 Gold.
  7. Actually, if we throw Nostrums out, Rogues could probably go back to their old money-making ways of gaining money from all enemies.
  8. The answer is obvious. Docken should totally go Assassin for the duration of this quest to, hopefully, rake in the gold for further shield upgrades. What's the weapon type? Are they suitable to Pretzel?
  9. But we all know you'll end up having to fight him so that's okay.
  10. I'll take him while you're not around.
  11. It's not like I'm intending on meeting him...and if I do, I have a secret weapon...because we all know he's a demon inside.
  12. May I remind you that going Necromancer whilst being unable to swallow ether cores is not a good idea.
  13. Nostrums take up two effects slots.
  14. The one in the middle.
  15. I looked without flinching, what does that make me? Come on, the minifigs heads aren't even separated from their torsos, muchless any other body party. Gah! Those kinds of scenes are heartrending.
  16. Besides, I won't accept the fact that Masson was trained under the Copper Fox to actually be a Paragon, so he is certainly just a fake.
  17. "Silence! I'm praying." I continue meditating and, at length. "...so, wand you say?" I reach for the Wand of Poking. "You may look, but not touch. Shopping spree you say, I could use some dwarven coin. Where do you hail from?" I blink uncomfortably as I notice a gorilla gesticulating and shouting wildly. "Good Lord, have the veterans finally snapped and turned this hall into a zoo?"
  18. Bah they're fakes! Wait, the only one I can think of right now who has actually fought is Masson and he's just a digital illusion preying on Karie's weak mind.
  19. All I have to say: ...Okay, I didn't actually say anything. Bring High Cleric on!!!
  20. I'm assuming not until someone gets to Level 50.
  21. I still think Nostrums are the only more dramatically game-changing effect. They actually decrease the chances of getting hurt by the enemy. Smelling Salts are good, but without a Nostrum to back them up, you have not terrible chances of being hit by both enemies, which makes them kind of a risk as well.
  22. While I think you're on the right track, I think if you limit the amount of positive effects a hero can use, we will never see the use of some of the less "useful" ones. It's good, but with two effects slots heroes will still be able to use nostrums and smelling salts or nostrums and mead, making them more or less, just as powerful. I think JimB's closer to the right thing. However, what I would do, perhaps, is just limit Nostrums for now. Nostrums are the main, battle changers, and are the items that make it very difficult for the enemy to damage the hero. Meads and Smelling Salts are alright, even in combination, but Nostrums are the main problem as I see it. Um...I think those three are the ones we're talking about removing. They are the problems not the other ones. Also, if we remove them from the marketplace, we may see more of them dropped, which is always fun...for some reason.
  23. Must...go...High...Cleric! I agree with CMP, the classes are great overall, though some of the Shield skills could be improved a little. Really looking forward to seeing these in action.
  24. I don't quite understand the meaning of convert, but the ability is definitely made for Pretzel. I can remember Pretzel arguing with Leo about God and even fought him in the arena because Leo was a follower of Ennoc.
  25. Wow! You could actually have a complete party of over Level 30 heroes. I never realized that Althior is so high-leveled.
