Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory
Palathadric replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"I think you mean, Pumpkinface E." "The Yeti already has Pumpkinface H covered with his strike. Perhaps, you could target another of the Hodgepodges and the dwarf could target one as well. -
Thank you. I just wanted to know if it would be in the morning or in the evening. That means we only have tomorrow, more or less to finish off those nasties. I have a feeling we won't defeat them on time.

Sorry. It isn't in the Marketplace, and I forgot that it was one of the Field's prizes.

CMP, Nagure can use a Phoenix Incense, correct? -

Not sure if we should post a battle order ourselves since Hybros is KOed. Battle Order: Pretzel Pretzel Nur Nur (In case we are KO'ed, we'll be revived by the Phoenix Incense, although we'll lose our hastening) Nagure (Phoenix Incense First, wouldn't want you getting stunned ) Nagure Hybros Hybros Amma Sylph -
Sandy, what time, on the 10th are the sign-ups closing for the Marketplace quest?

"If the Yeti is able to throw the Incense, it would be better for him to do so than for you, because he can only target one enemy at a time anyway." -

I attack Pumpkinfaces I and J with Conspirator from the Back Row. "Somebody needs to wake up our teammates, especially the little ones. Yeti, you seem pretty intensely in your fight, would you be able to do it or you stuck in there, so to speak?" -
Just a question, I know it has come up before, but I can't recall the ruling. Does a hastened Berserker have to attack their target with both attacks or can they, for instance, attack and then use a Consumable: e.g: Phoenix Incense, etc. Also, Phoenix Incenses only restore the Knocked Out heroes to full health, not everyone, right?

Sylph target C. Nagure is attacking H. I think it's okay that I post Sylph's action: Sylph Attacks Pumpkinface C and Pumpkinface I from the Back Row with Flying Cross. -

"Only a few of us have Phoenix Incenses, and hopefully not too many of us will be down before the end of the round. It's the free hits we need to watch out for. We can probably leave Apocalyptic Pumpkinface D alone, since he's blinded and can't deal a Free Hit." -

I attack Apocalyptic Pumpkin Face A and B from the Back Row. (Conspirator) "Sylph, you'll have to heal the two little ones, it seems." Man, we should have thought of Jinxing Sylph and making Pretzel Lucky to bring up Guardian Angel. -
By the way, it's been a while since we've seen Cronk around. It would be great for him to go on the Paladin quest.

Forgot to revive Byblos.

They look awesome! But Marketplace quest is always coming first and foremost. Pretzel already has Wolfgang reputation. All he needs now is to receive the title of Orc-kin. I hate you. These enemies have to have the highest combined level any party has faced up until now. ...Besides Jebediah's Level 9999 volcano...or was that just the HP? I think I need to re-read that quest. My apologies.

I Strike at Apocalyptic Pumpkin Faces C and D from the Back Row with Conspirator. If anyone is dead already, I attack any other untargeted Apocalyptic Pumpkin Face. "May your eyes depart from you, felons!" I cry. -

I look shuffle through my cart and suddenly notice something that I don't recall putting there. Picking it up and taking a sniff, I promptly faint. Smelling Salts have done their work on me once again. I down Smelling Salts. -
N-n-no Paladin? Knight? No?

Perhaps they aren't worth your trouble in equipping them? Although I would like to know the answer to PsyKater's question, I'm worried about what it will be. -
Which raises an interesting question. What if the person bearing the Shackles of War is knocked out. Does it still prevent anyone from fleeing?
-
Isn't that supposed to be, like, a law for unique items?
-
I think BD's way is quite good, really. I suppose we will see how quickly it rises in a normal quest, but I think with BD's plan it will rise quickly enough to still be worthwhile, but not too quickly to render it insanely overpowered. It may still be a bit overpowered, but I think we could let Hybros run with it for a quest or two with BD's system in place. If it still rises too quickly, then we can think about putting a cap, although I think WP: 50, may be a bit low. I would prefer to not put a cap though.

I rest in my Bedroll. Just in case DLL, doesn't get online in time: Sylph does too. I turn to Nur, "Would you like your Medal of Glory back?" If Nur takes it back, I equip the Fire Amulet, unless the party thinks it better that I equip the Shackles of War.
