Our clubs cooler than yours. All great for different roles, but the ones that stick out to me as being especially great are the Dastan Mechanics and the Multi-Pronged Assault type.
-
JimB and others on the Unlimited Quest, could I have an idea of which kind of areas in the Fields we are planning on going to?
-
"You know, some say ones sins can be removed by just lending unto the Lord what cost you something." I suggest, looking at the Medal of Glory. I shake Hoke's hand. "Pretzel, Monk Pretzel. Pleased to make your acquaintance. 'Tis unfortunate that you are not on our party to the Fields of Glory. We could have used someone such as yourself. Knight, am I right? Fine shield there. I should like to purchase one such as that, but I have not the coin."
-
Same here.
-
I relinquish 75 of my gold to Hoke, and accept his Topaz. "Don't think I've seen you around much, lad. What's your name?"
-
"Hmm...quick answer. I say, how much?" A massive rock of a person gets up and begins asking about a Topaz. I remain somewhat rooted to the spot, eyes transfixed on the terror. How I did not notice him before is a mystery.
-
I post up a new sign: Selling: Soma: 30 Gold Buying: Topaz Opal I write this after having the cataract operation of course.
-
I look at the list of sign-ups, confused.
-
Damn, he's annoying "Well, I don't usually give your kind charity..." I struggle within me. Sometimes words fail me when I argue for something I know is not mine by rights. "...but you may as well have it. You could use the extra fifty to get yourself a meal. Perhaps something better than what an orc would serve you."
-
Yeah, I'll stock up. Quest #36 taught me the usefulness of Smoke Bombs.
-
Okay, cool.
-
I pick up the bag and feel the weight in my hand, bringing out a scale from my cart I weigh it carefully. "There seems to be 50 missing. Trying to rip me off are you, barbarian?"
-
Perfect by me. How do the Fields work actually? Is it like a quest where only certain of the heroes who signed up get to go or does everyone who signs up go? If so, I may take my name off as I wouldn't want to unnecessarily stress out the Party Leader with 10+ heroes.
-
I head up to Anwyl, hand him the Muckraker and the Emerald. He gets the point pretty quickly. I imbue my Emerald into the Muckraker for 50 gold. "What an expensive sword you are," I mutter. "Let's hope you're worth it." I swing the great sword through the air twice. "I think you."
-
I ignore Dreyrugr's comment, snatch up Muckraker and inspect it quickly. Gemstones remain intact. Good sign. As I pass the Quest Board, I notice one quest about the Fields of Glory. May as well pass my time. I sign up for the Fields of Glory on conditions expressed by others. I then head out to the marketplace again, but on my way there... I look up and hand the crafty-looking barbarian my Grating Stone, awaiting payment.
-
Cool, maybe I'll sign up then. If I can hit Level 20 before the marketplace quest that would be fabulous.
-
I don't recall the heroes asking the pogs for anything. Maybe I need to reread the quest.

If Sarge were to go Raider or we were to get another Raider along, that would actually be a really good team. Of course, most of it would come down to the lucky druid, but still... If a Mystic Knight is using a weapon that deals a certain effect, does that effect get passed to all enemies hit by the Shield skill? Sorry, but the first page of the Training Room just takes forever to load.
-
Sorry, no Black Knights allowed. And we have no interest in being "gotten back at." Darn, if Sarge, Erdathcath, and Pretzel would be on the same quest it would be a team of three healers.
-
I don't know about that. It depends entirely on how many police sets you have and how corrupt your officers are.
-
Should be the Imperial Outpost because it's the biggest set I have. Can't say it took very long to put it together though.
-
I can't say I don't miss the good sets from the late 80's and early 90's. Those were great time with great sets and I may still consider that LEGO's peak. However, with the great Lord of the Rings sets, I don't know if I can really say that these are inferior to the ones from the 80's to 90's. They're just different. TLG is branching out in a new direction and, at least to me, it's hard to compare where they were then, to where they are now. They've climbed down from one peak and climbed back up another! It's all good.
-
Bah! Can't blame me for forgetting. Depending on the upcoming quests and the ongoing ones. Flare may be able to tie the three of us down for another six months.

I smirk. The bluff worked. He shrunk back to his human self right quick. Oh, he still has to look all big and powerful, but he fears!
-
Oh, I tend to recall somebody taunting Odzaph about having an army of bunnys or something, and then the Bunny himself showed up. Maybe I need to look back again. That was a great quest.
