A D2C Quidditch pitch in the style of the Manchester and Bracelona stadiums would be pretty cool!

I'm so excited that we have another Ninjago Modular expansion coming to get excited for! I'm assuming it'll most easily connect to Gardens as it's the one still available in retail. Over the past year I have collected all the Ninjago D2C's, including Temple of Airjitzu, but I have yet to build any of them until I design my layout. Hopefully this will add a nice piece to that city :) -
I just now realized that piece on the bottom was a scarf. I thought it was French fries covered in ketchup 😂

Don’t know if this has been shared yet, but someone combined the two Great Hall sets into what I believe is the best of both worlds. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-80761/Crimson Coronet/76389-as-basementcliffs-for-75954-great-hall-footprint-mod/#details

I agree. This may be a hot take but if this is the future of the theme, I almost wish this year would have been the last year, with a D2C Gringotts and Deathly Hallow sets, and then stop again so LEGO can focus on other fantasy themes. I think we're in for a lot of random sets that make little sense and only slightly satisfy everyone. I think we should strive for more than "well it's not as bad as I thought".
-
Except it’s pretty likely that we are not getting Gringotts nor Deathly Hallows next year, based on how Marcos worded it.
-
Yea I hate to be so cynical but once we start getting 2022 rumors I think we'll have a better idea of where this theme is going. Personally, I don't think this bodes well. I'll stick with other themes then.
-
Y'all really teasing me bumping this thread this is probably the most exciting set for me for the rest of the year. I really hope it's focused on Mario 64. I'm just worried for $170 it won't be that crazy
-
Edit: I don't want to be so negative on the top of the page lol so just gonna delete this. I can see why some people would really dig this, just not for me.
-
At this point just get a model of these objects instead of making it out of LEGO. I guess this is the direction LEGO wants to go with Harry Potter AFOL stuff, just incredibly disappointing all around.

Think I may have asked this a few months ago, but does anyone have Ninjago City Gardens built in stud.io by chance? -
It’s probably just a Horcrux collection or something
-
If we get a Peach’s Castle for $170, it kinda has to be micro scale yea? I can’t imagine a D2C castle can be properly done at that price range in minifig scale. I wouldn’t mind honestly, any kind of AFOL Mario display piece I’m totally down for.

LEGO Star Wars 2021 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

If only they had an event that could have properly revealed it before it got leaked. -
Sounds more like a typical Ninjago set than a modular. You got me excited for something to add on to Ninjago City lol
-
Thinking about it more, I'm actually more excited for the Lighthouse than any other Ideas set that is still waiting to be released. I think it could fit well with my future Ninjago City with a bit of a MOCup to blend it in
-
This wasn't my favorite review set anyway so I don't really care, but I also predicted the lighthouse to be the only one to get approved so I feel somewhat proud. The sad part is that my expectations for LEGO Ideas are so low that it's becoming extremely predictable what they will choose.
-
Haven’t been here in awhile, is there still nothing rumored for the D2C?
-
Hey guys, I asked Marcos on Instagram a question whether Lego has a problem with Deathly Hallows and he actually answered lol didn't expect that but here's what he said: "Absolutely nothing! But as the story progresses, the movies get darker and more up in age, and we tend to find more appealing and engaging moments in the earlier movies that lend themselves to great toys...but who knows...:)" If anything it confirms that they do find it dark and it isn't an unfounded worry from us that they are intentionally skipping it. Doesn't bode well for the next couple years at least
-
Yea they literally put The Punisher in the Daily Bugle set, I would say any argument about the last two movies being too dark is insane. That being said I see LEGO as a similar company to Nintendo - love what they do but they make some ridiculous decisions sometimes.
-
I would probably put money down on there being zero Deathly Hallow sets next year as well. It's clear we've gone back to the start again
-
LEGO: "Well I thought you guys wanted Leaky Cauldron and Gringotts so badly! What's wrong?" I stopped following LEGO HP for the year considering there's nothing I'm interested in, but I did get a good laugh seeing the advent calendar on Instagram. One of the items is a literal wall lmao Bring on 2022 I guess.

Oh damn I would love official light kits! Now I kinda regret buying all the Light My Brick Ninjago City kits. I wonder how they'll tackle it though because they wouldn't sell these for retired sets would they? I already have the LMB put into my Tree House, and it's amazing. Lights really do elevate LEGO to a professional display

I feel I'm being so negative on the sets, but man I wish Hogsmeade was bigger. The set is well done for what it is, but it really needed to be $150 or so to actually look like an AFOL-quality display. As it is it kinda just looks like a miniature
