LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
No I agree with cosmic. I thin its worthy for a groom minifigure show up in CMF series. A ring with diamond sonds really nice as we have seen a plain ring for a decade. also i think they could design a completely new tuxedo - a new color and style… I have seen some grooms wore simple vests or jackets over vests. I have seen some colorful bows (red wine color) against navy tuxedo / vest. How about….a dual-printed head? One with a broad smile and one with a cake smear on (when bride threw it on grooom’s face)! But they are not the recent series. Only i see buildable guns/blasters for sci-fi minifigures. -

Space Jam is way better than the sequel. I have seen some people wishing for space Jam variatns. I don’t think it’s about nosgaai when it comes to Muppets’ Electric Mayhem? I mean the Muppet Series has two characters right from Electric Mayhem band - Animal and Janice. -

Ditch the gun acceosryies and replace them with a “Rabbit Season” poster for Elmer and a club for Yosemite? I think I saw Yosemite used a club but i might be wrong. -
Agreed, it’s great to see a light tan color for hairpiece! I can’t wait to see taht hair color to show up in other theems - licensed and. In-house!
-
Yup exactly! In-house themes allow desginers to have freedom of creativity for sure. Also minifigures from licensed themes are hardly acccurate. For example, in 2020, there was Lavender Brown in Harry Potter set but she didn’t look like the character from movie. Some folks sometimes complain about how inaccurate the characters from all licnessed themes are. In-house minifigures’ desgins are pretty easy, however, the color schemes ae tricky.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I think 10350 will be the next Modular Buidling. I don’t know if it’s true since i found it form Brick Fantatic but i could not find info somehwere else. -
Sorry for not being clear. No, not that’s what I meant. I just feel it’s not very creative when it comes to licensed themes that are based off movies, tv show, pop culture. The original in-house themes I consider are creative things desginers produces.

Just like that MonkieKid’s Delivery Bike GWP some years ago? -
Same here. I got hooked to DreamZzz becuase I found those sets more intersing and unique. I got intrigued by Monkie Kid and Hidden Side themes. Missed out on the in-house theme “Dino” in early 2010s but Jurasic World theme arrived. I only care for Jurassic World is dinosaurs that allows me to place them into the in-house universe. Same way for fantasy creatures from Harry Potter. I will always welcome new in-house themes. Well, that’ snot creativity when it comes to licensed themes. And I’m not totally into nostalgia myself. I just feel that Lego is not enough creative to come up with ideas for new original in-house themes. I found the new in-house themes more appreciated like Nexo Knights, Monkie Kid, Ninjago, Hidden Side, etc. Licensed themes are well known that the designers kept remaking the old sets from past into presents like Great Hall from Harry Potter, Millimeum Falcon from Star Wars. It’s not exaclty creativity but just new building techniques.

Oh wow, that’s amazing to see the beautiful landscape! Great work.

Thank you. -
Well, I mean, sure there is no evidence available. We don’t know what will happen after Space City subtheme for 2025. To me, I totally don’t mind Space as a City subtheme. So yeah… no evidence why they coul not do a standalone Space theme, just silly speculations they came up with.
-
I totally get how you feel. It’s really ad to see a big change since 2000s. I feel that the younger generations show little or no interest in the original in-house themes - they have been arching Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter movies and they recognize the sets that are based on those movies. I don’t know if they have imaginations or not. But while growing up, I love using my imagination and come up with stories. It was such fun! I only have little interest in licensed sets becasue i buy dinosaurs from Jurasssic World, fantasy creatures from Harry Potter, cool minifigure parts/accesories from licensed theems seperateldly (in other words, not buying the whole sets) and use them for my in-house world.

Ijm glad that you think the Pharrell Williams spaceship set is cool/nice. However, to me, it’s….dull. It’s pretty silly that they produce a small spaceship for a$100 set. It looks like they throw some colorful pirates into it form “Everthing is Aweosme” set. And that frame with 48 heads? It looks like it’s FBI’s wanted photos on wall. But I like a few cool parts such as minifigure parts and that cockpit. -

What are WOT and ROP tanning for? -
Yeah, way too much licensed themes for sure. I have read arguments about Space sets being put into. City theme because there are no slots for it as a standal theme. However, I don’t mind that Space sets in City theme at all. I think 50;50 ratio would be great.

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

That’s fair, I agree with you on Blacksmith. It is quite oversized over LKC. I haven’t brought Viking Villagge set but i am at ally thinking about getting it because of printed parts. I don’t feel appealed to MTS becuase of stickers. Stickers for shields are a big minus. -
No worries at all! :)
