LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well yeah but you are only speaking oivic officials rather than religious ones. Or at least a celebrity performing a marriage ceremony? Or a famous sportsman? I have been seeing some marriage ceremonies with different officiator. It’s no point for TLG to produce a minifigure like officiator, ya know? That’s fair. Since there is no Courthouse for private marriage ceremony at the momenf as i read Modular fans’ comments sometimes ago. Town Hall is “considered” as a wedding venue for private ceremony. As gay marriage was legalized, I have seen some gay couples getting married at city hall or courthouse or some wherever. It would be fun to have a wedding venue inside a restaurant! (Seriously, my dad got re-married right inside restaurant). I agre - they wont’ do a clergy minifigure for sure. Or even a modular religious site. Speaking of marriage, I need Hera minifigure! -
Thanks! But I still envy that Europe magazines+minifigure. Thanks!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I am not sure how can ring fix in a tiny box like 1x1? I remember there. Is 1x2 box piece from Harry Potter theme ‘s Diagon Alley set so I need to test my ring in that box. I agree with Karalora that a pillow would be very nice for Ring Bearer minifigure in order to bring two rings. And a new basket for Flower Girl sounds lovely. Cosmic, oh yes I rmemeber THAT minfigure-scale onicle! I think it woul be great for CMF just to delight Bionicle fans like us! let’s not forget that there is the Flash from DC Comic Series - he comes with that useful helmet with wings on it. Perfect for Hermes. Flying Warrior’s massive helmet is not so Hermes. I am not sure how likey they could reuse that Flash’s helmet for Hermes since it’s IP-locked? I think Hades could come with a small Cerebeus but I agree with you on a cap of invisibility. The CMF. Judge says hello. And there is a marriages couple at Modular Building Colleciton’s Town Hall. -

Kingdom Hearts? Final Fantasy? Persona? Actually I take back what I just said about Final Fantasy and Persona. I checked double and they are r-rated. -
Ok that sounds stupid but how can I get that paper pack?

Very nice!! -
More or less. I would love to get more Space sets but I don’t think they are hinting we will get more. Just like they did wih Modular Buidling “teaser” last year and fans thought it would be it was AssemblySquare 2.0 but we ended up getting Natural History Museum. Maybe that post doesn’t mean anything. I will be happy to be wrong becuase I still wish we get more space sets.

In regard to creativity, you have a valid point. Well said. And yes, company and fans alike need both licensed and non-licensed themes. I understand that discussion gets carried away but my original point is tthat there are too much licensed themes at the moment. About a 50:50 ratio is a good balance for both licened and non-lien Ed theme fans and company.

I don’t think. “Raeeding” is a right word when it comes to step-by-step manuals htat are filled wiht images and smile numbers of pieces (1x, 2x, 5x, 12x). I think “following” is suitable. Of course, the current instruments have words, such as bios, service contract informations, etc, that are for “reading”. Sorry, I can’t help myself but I always pick on words whoever say sound odd to me. Force of habit! Carry on everyone. ..

Well you mean to be a downer a bit, don’t yo think? Anyways, you are probalby right about the original Town Hall set itself but i feel that Emmett’s apartment building is a different story. I have seen some AFOls doing MOC versions of that Emmett’s apartment online and I love thier ideas. It does have charms. I don’t think Museum is the 2024 Modular blading, according to the offical Lego webpage. Both Jazz clu and Museum are 2023 buidling buildings. Just like 2007 has two modular buildings… if you want Octan HQ skyscraper that is made out of at least 10,000 bricks plus endless aisles and rows of desks where robot employees sit at,then sure! I always wish for 4/5-story skyscraper but it’s too soon. It’s becuase we just hae a 1.5 modular building (Museum) after the 7-years-old Assembly Squre’s retirement. 20th annivesary set will arrive in 2027.

LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion

And Ghost of Tsushima. But it’s Lego, so they can’t do R-rated video game-inspired sets. -
That could explain why Nexo Knight had bugdet issue - they were supposed to release the last wave but they cancelled it anyways, sadly.
-
It has been a decade since the Lego Movie came out, I wish e cold get Emmett’s apartment set as a 10th annivesary tribute.

Oh my bad, my apologies. I bought you tagged me - I was tired from walking with dog twice today! I still agree with you that it’s sad we won’t get those cool Jungle. Sets.

I was talking about Ninjago, not Jungle subtheme from City. But I agree it is sad that we won’t get those cool sets, especially Lost Crocodile Temple.

(Sarcastically) Oh? You would be concerned with what others don’t like, they don’t buy, and how useless the set is then? Good to know! Now serious…. Yeah, I fond some cool parts from that Pharrell Williams set, such as rainbow trail and that golden cockpit. I rather not buy that set but will get some parts for PAB or Bricklink so I could them use them. I understand that some space fans don’t feel appealed to that set bt we don’t know how well this will be sold until its release date. Queer Eye was released a few yers ago then it had some discount some times later. It had me wondered why it went that way. Anyways, Space fans only speak for themselves (I’m not a Space fan myself, I’m jst a general in-house fan).

Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Lion King replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I found and purchased the baby dragon Norbert from BrickLink other da and it arrived. That baby dragon is very cute next to Riku (from. Nina go). Now, I don’t. Need to buy the entire Hagrid’s Hut set but I will hunt for Fang figure I can’t wait to get my ahdsn on two more small dragon figures later this year. One from DnD CMF and one from Ninjago se. It’s really neat to collect fantasy creatures from different themes. -
That’s fair. There is no thing, such as “true fans”, though. Oh yeah? You think they do the same stuff for current in-house theme as before in 80s and 90s? Nah… I’m not totally into nostalgia stuff. Take a look at DreamZzz, Monkie Kid, Hidden Side , China - they have their own uniqueness in design. It’s just “never-see-before” stuff I am into. I don’t think licensed thems are competely original. They cointinue remaking the sets, such as Hagrid’s Hut, Great Hall, Milliecum Falcon, If you are a collector, you end up having multir Great Halls, multi Hagrid’s Huts, multiracial Mlllieum Falcons at your home. Is that a “creativity” thing Lego is doing for several years? and I will never wish that entire themes should be replaced with in-house thems, just roughly 50:50 balance. I do understand that licensed AND in-house themes keep the company alive…

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
No I agree with cosmic. I thin its worthy for a groom minifigure show up in CMF series. A ring with diamond sonds really nice as we have seen a plain ring for a decade. also i think they could design a completely new tuxedo - a new color and style… I have seen some grooms wore simple vests or jackets over vests. I have seen some colorful bows (red wine color) against navy tuxedo / vest. How about….a dual-printed head? One with a broad smile and one with a cake smear on (when bride threw it on grooom’s face)! But they are not the recent series. Only i see buildable guns/blasters for sci-fi minifigures.
