Just before I give my opinions on previous Bat-films, is there a topic for general Batman discussion that would be more suitable for this? It seems we've all gone a bit of topic (TDKR).

Oops, allow me to rephrase that: The traps/cages make it sound like a possible Pharaoh's Quest theme, but the molded dino's don't, as the 'creatures' in 'Quest were brick-built. But I suppose 'Quest was an unusually shoot-y theme, so it really could go either way. I completely agree, that would be perfect.

It would be a great parts-pack, but not very much customizability. You wouldn't really mix the different colored outfits (orange legs, purple mask etc.). And it doesn't really seem like the thing Ninjago would do, with the already-established characters. It's a good idea though, I would buy it!

Like I said in a different topic, I always try to get at least the smallest set of the wave, so I don't regret completely missing a theme. I do really like dinosaurs in general though, so if the sets are good, I might find myself buying a few more... As for the Pharaoh's Quest possibility, there are conflicting facts. I just had some amazing luck discovering that. I noticed an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold was on Cartoon Network (a channel I usually never watch), I thought I'd check it out. Then when the ad's came on, I was just about to switch the TV off when I suddenly heard: 'Starting next saturday, Transformers:Prime...' I'll defiantly be tuning in.

This was the only one of the Newspaper promo's I managed to get, and I'm glad I did. Originally, I mainly wanted it for parts. But once I built it, I didn't have the heart to take it apart. It just looks awesomely ridiculous!

That's pretty much exactly the same situation I'm in. I'm almost glad we haven't heard anything about 2012 Kingdoms sets, I'll be able to buy more from other themes.

Ooh... Good research. Although I went back to the previous year to see when we got preliminary pictures for the 2010 Atlantis sets, and it was around now. So it could really be any time between now and late September. Either way, I'll be keeping an eye on this topic.

Wow! 180 keychains? I have 4. I store them on whatever I can hang them on, to be honest. I doubt that will be much help to you. It does seem a shame to keep them all in a box, rather than out on display, though. I hope other people will be more help than I am.

Hmm... Well I like Kingdoms, but I don't think it's as good as the previous Castle theme. But given more time, and with some new Factions, Kingdoms could become my favorite theme. Because it wasn't the fantasy element that I really liked about Castle, it was all of the different factions, and the potential for even more in the future. I really hope Kingdoms continues for a few more waves. They could make all of the factions unique, I'd love to see a Navel-based kingdom.

The ones in the first post are just preliminary (unfinished). I'm sure the minifigures in the actual sets will be better, and printed.

I've been reading this topic for a while now, and there have been some really good ones. Skrytsson, your latest batch were great, not a single one I didn't like. Just when I think that every joke about Clone Wars faces has been made, another one comes up. Anyway, I've got a few ideas for Funnies. I'll try to make and upload them soon.

I can't tell if your being sarcastic, but I don't remember any swoop bikes in that scene. I can't find anything on Wookiepedia either.

Damn... I was hoping for something like what Nya has. A printed 'mask' over their mouths but with hair showing. I don't remember you saying anything about headgear.

I'm roughly 50% British, 50% Kiwi (New Zealand). I'm sure that there's other things mixed in, but nothing significant. Although, since my New Zealand part isn't Maori, it could eventually be traced to European. And that could be traced back to... Well, I think Khorne put it well.

Very nice. I'm a purist myself, so I really like the way you've done this. All of the suits/hair/hats work perfectly together (especially the Brickfather, the red makes him look like the leader).

I agree, a Dewback would make it a must buy for me. But I too will save my final judgement for pictures.

Mirandir, you're back! I feel like we owe you something for all you've done for us. Hmm... the first thing I thought of for new headgear was Steampunk-style goggles, but that seems unlikely. Since there's 2 headgears, I imagine one of them is hair. And I suppose it makes sense that they have new torsos, they had special Dragon-riding ones, so why not vehicle-riding.

Well, it says $20 (Dollars), so it might be cheaper in the UK. And I'm slightly disapointed they chose to include a Swoop Bike instead of a Dewback. But I guess they can't have a new mould that big in such a small set.

I never thought I'd see that figure used in a Spongebob MOC! Overall, a very nice, simple creation, Aripramz. Are you planning on making more Spongebob MOCs?

I actually thought that it was surprisingly cheap, considering it's meant to come with 2 Sandtroopers, R2-D2, C-3PO, Escape pod and a swoop bike. Although I do hope its a pretty good 'pod. And even though it's a fairly unimportant detail, do you think the Sandtroopers will come with Orange or Black pauldrons. The one in Luke's Landspeeder had Black, but I would say the Orange ones are more 'common'.

Penguin's not going to be happy about that. Anyway, I also hope that they don't make just vehicle based sets. And, as unlikely as it seems, I'd still love to see Minifigures based on the Arkham Asylum/City games.
