  1. Just for comparison, here's Mirandir's list next to the new one from All About Bricks: Mirandir's: All About Bricks:
  2. Wow, I've never been so impressed by a LDD model! Any plans to start a brick-built project of this, I'm sure plenty of people would be willing to sign up.
  3. Another great modification, RussianBear! I really like the way it looks, with the wide back and slopes on the front. The 1x1 slope pieces work very well as lights, too.
  4. That's a very nice walker, RussianBear. The colour scheme works really well with it. The feet are especially good. I also really like the way you keep the flick-fire missiles, it looks like a real set.
  5. I completely agree, yet another reason I hope it's a continuation of Pharaoh's Quest.
  6. I too am from New Zealand, and I really like the way you're doing such a meaningful project. Looking forward to seeing the completed model.
  7. A game like Frog Rush, but with the new chicken piece would be a must-but for me! And good thinking with the Mini-taurus.
  8. Hmm... that's not a bad idea. Anyway, here one last little update, then you'll all have to wait a while for the next one, as I just won't have time to take photos, upload them to my computer, then upload to Brickshelf, etc... So here we go: Male Civilian: Description/Back-story: A civilian of the Kingdom, but of a higher class than the peasants. He regularly helps out on the farms, as he feels he needs to serve his Kingdom. The Skeletor Description/Back-Story: But sir! It's getting closer, we can't stop it! It's a - AHHH! That's it for now, as always suggestions/requests are welcome. Also, my Photo Studio has arrived, so when the next batch finally arrives, the photos will be even better. So, farewell for now. I'll still be able to reply to comments, so go ahead, click 'add reply'!
  9. I'm surprised not to see any more PoTC sets, since they went to all the trouble of making a Video Game. Not that I really mind though, I never liked the movies.
  10. The safari set could be good, with some brick built animals. I'm also surprised to see no Heroica sets (Kockarywhatever could be, but I wouldn't count on it).
  11. To quote Mirandir (I seem to be doing that a lot lately):
  12. If this is a whole new theme, I would feel like it was a bit of a missed opportunity. The dinosaur and trapping elements would be perfect for a new Pharaoh's Quest theme (Dino Quest?). But, if my memory serves me right, Mirandir said a while back that 2012 would have a new licensed theme and a new play-theme. We know the licensed theme is Superheroes, this is probably the other one. Also, it seems Brickenhead-town-dweller is a dinosaur-buff like me!
  13. Yes, nearly all the discussion in this topic is about 2012. Also, in the City 2012 topic, I believe Mirandir said that Lego was getting suspicious about him... But we should be getting preliminary pictures pretty soon anyway.
  14. Personally, I would buy straight from Lego (or maybe Amazon) rather than eBay, that's just me though. If she likes Original Trilogy stuff, I would suggest the Tantive IV or the Super (expensive) Star Destroyer (assuming she hasn't got either of those, or there not too expensive). Also, I agree with DarthSion, saying 'legos' isn't welcomed with a smile in these parts.
  15. Well, it depends. How expensive are you willing to go, and what kind of sets does she like (Clone Wars, Original Trilogy etc...)? And it's nice to see a guy getting his wife Lego for their anniversary.
  16. Making T-shirts of Lego torsos is a great idea! I'd love to see a classic space one in the future.
  17. I actually asked Mirandir (the person whose told us basically everything we know about 2012 sets) myself about Kingdoms in 2012, and he said that he hadn't heard anything. That doesn't necessarily mean we won't be getting anything, but judging by the first 2 wave (both summer), I'd say we won't see any sets in the January wave. I would love to see a Joust set in summer though, just around my birthday.
  18. That's actually very good thinking! Something like the X-Pods seems like a very plausible idea.
  19. Something like the Himeji Castle or the Sydney Opera House would be cool, but as a native of New Zealand I would have to say the 'Beehive' is the top of my list:
  20. Yeah, I would imagine it's just a first wave/series. I doubt Lego would get a license this big and only make a few minifigures. Like I said before, there's so many figures they could do, and loads of different versions of each one. This could become an ongoing series (similar to Collectible Minifigures, but not randomly packaged). I too would love to see a Penguin figure, preferably the 60's one first.
  21. Hilarious review Penguin! As a castle fan, I really wish I had gotten some of these, so many great pieces. I can only hope the upcoming Girls theme will be similar parts-wise...
  22. That's a very innovative use of parts, The0! Is the Fabuland figure's hat being held on by anything, or is it just balanced?
  23. Thanks for the pictures and recommendation LordofDragonss! It should look really good in my Kingdom (I might have to make a lair for it).
  24. Sorry about the double post , but I just wanted to ask something. If anyone here has the Earth Dragon Defense, could you please make a review of it. There isn't one on this site yet, and I'd greatly appreciate it.
  25. That really is a great Castle 'de Gothia'! I wish I could make castles like that. All of the little details really add something to the MOC. I especially like the way you put in the ducks from the Market Village set, and the Log bridge over the river/moat. The interior looks great too, you did the doors and windows perfectly.
