  1. Another excellent medieval MOC, frogstudio! I just wish I had things like this in my kingdom. I like all the little details like the frog and the mushrooms. And the minifigures fit the scene well.
  2. I always like seeing MOCs of older Castle themes, and this is no exception. The walkway leading to the drawbridge was a good idea, and I'd love to see a ship docked by it.
  3. Another great medieval MOC, frogstudio. The doors and balcony out the back is a nice addition and, just out of interest, is there any interior?
  4. All of your figures are great, Penguin! I've been following this topic since long before I joined. But, unlike quite a lot of people, who like superheroes when they're young, and grow out of them as they get older, I never liked Batman when I was a kid, but now I really, really do. Lots of your minifigures have helped me learn a lot more about characters which, in some cases, I had no idea existed. And the best thing is, you'll never run out of figures to make, because there is so many TV shows, Movies, and Comics, and with all the new pieces in recent years, you can keep updating older ones. I can't wait to see what you do next...
  5. I wish I had that many cows... But the thing that really stood out for me here was your design for the vulture, very interesting idea.
  6. Very nice MOC, Frogstudio. I especially like the shield with flags above the door, and the whip at the end of the priest's staff. I really need to make a cathedral-like building for my kingdom.
  7. Nice review, I think the 3.0's are the best heroes yet. And am I the only one that's reminded of the classic Power Rangers?
  8. Thank you very much for this review! I couldn't really tell much from the box, and the real life pictures were really helpful. I'm was never a fan of Bionicle, and Hero Factory does little to change my opinion, but Fangz looks like he could be useful as some kind of monster in my medieval Kingdom.
  9. Great MOC! The Swedish flag, and the Earth in the background are great details, and the colour you used for the planet surface just happen to be one of my favorite brick colours.
  10. I'm new here, but since I'm a big Castle fan, I hope it's OK if I give my quick opinions on this wave of Kingdoms sets. Blacksmith Attack: The only set of the wave I haven't got yet. Looks good, but the Heroica weapons look a bit too Megabloks-y for me. Escape from Dragon's Prison: The minifigures are great, especially the Mounted Dragon knight . The building looks good too, but it's a shame that knights can't fit through the gates while mounted. King's Carriage Ambush: The King looks awesome in his Luxury Robes (different than in the castle), and the carriage looks very royal. The Dragon knight and their tree-traps are great too. Mill Village Raid: Finally, another civilian set! To tell the truth, I only just got this set, and I haven't finished building it (I've just got half of the barn to do), but it's great so far. Although I preferred the brick build birds from the Market Village, I found myself surprisingly liking the new animal molds. It should look great in my kingdom. I do hope Kingdoms continues for a few more waves, and I know I'm not alone when I say I want more civilian sets.
  11. Thanks for the review. I'm not a huge fan of the Ninjago theme, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to resist this one. It has a very classic feel to it, with the printed pieces, and the little details. The dragon is good too, and I'm sure it wouldn't look out of place in my Castle kingdom. Although, realistically, I'll probably only get this set if I find it on sale.
  12. Thanks for the links, Brickdoctor , I'll try to get one soon.
  13. Thanks, buddy. Also, for future reference, I don't have a Flickr account (I'll try to get one soon), but is it possible to add pictures straight from my computer?
  14. Well... Hi everybody! This is my very first post on this forum (or any forum for that matter), so please tell me if I do something wrong. I have been reading this website for almost a year now, as my main source of Lego info, so I decided to finally sign up and join in. And a little bit about myself : I was born in New Zealand, but have lived near Inverness, Scotland since I was about 5. I am a huge Lego fan, and my friends all know to come to me if they have any brick-based questions. My favorite theme has always been Castle, but I do often dip into other themes. That's all for now, I hope I can become a productive member of this community.
