  1. Ah, that'll be it. I didn't see those. I wonder if they will make displays like this for other sets.
  2. This is a very impressive entry 'Fianat'! The wooden bits (boarded up windows, part of the left wall) look especially good, as does your use of the 'tooth' pieces around the door. The minifigures are great for the scene too, and the attention to detail definitely adds something to it.
  3. That actually looks really good, but what does the 'try me' knob do?
  4. I have my methods. I'm more worried about the fact that I might get some kind of embarrassing title for this.
  5. I know it's very immature of me, but to quote Bonaparte:
  6. That's a very sleek looking shuttle, RussianBear. The black cockpit looks good in contrast to the white of the rest of the ship. The engine system at the back is very clever too.
  7. I'm generally not a very cartoony person, but I do have 2 that I really, really like. 1. The classic Transformers series from the 80's. 2. Batman: The Animated series. I know there's already a topic about Transformers, so I won't discuss that one here. Is there a more suitable topic for talking about Batman?
  8. Good that someone agrees with me. We probably won't see one until Ep. 3 has it's 3D release, unless of course it appears in the Clone Wars. But we apparently are getting an Ep. 3 set in 2012 (Anakin's Starfighter), so I could be wrong.
  9. We know we'll be getting new spinners, and there may be a new Green Ninja (but apparently it will just be one of the other ones 'evolved').
  10. I'll start off by saying that I don't know very much about the Discworld series. But since you commented on my Minifigures, it's only fair that I comment on yours. The walking treasure chest is one of the few 'characters' I know, and I think you pulled it of pretty well, good idea with how you made the feet. Keep them coming!
  11. For a less expensive (only just, probably ) way to get the General, I think a new Wheel Bike, would be a more likely set (more action, and they could include Obi-Wan and the Boga to jack up the price).
  12. It's an honor to get a compliment from such an experienced minifigure-maker.
  13. I've just remembered, wasn't there some kind of flying ninja boat in that Lego Battles game? And I know it's hypocritical, but I'm slightly disappointed with the fact the next wave will be more vehicle-based. That was the main thing I didn't like about the first wave. And with only 1 vehicle, and more dragons and architecture in the 2nd wave, I thought Lego was moving away from ridiculous vehicles. But, I suppose they could be cool. We should have pictures soon. Also, what do you think is going to happen with Nya?
  14. ...or a Heath Ledger joker.
  15. Yeah, I imagine most of the construction sets will be vehicle-based. And Lego could easily create their own Bat-vehicles, Batman's had a lot ridiculous adventures over the years, most people wouldn't even realize. And what do you think are the chances of us getting sets/minifigures based on the Nolan films? EDIT: 100th post! I'm a citizen!
  16. Yes, but we should have preliminary pictures very soon. Also, do you think City - Alarm will be in the same setting as the the new fire and police sets (that is, forest)?
  17. The top of my list would definitely be Batman. To quote myself from another post: Not that I was a little kid back then, but I literally only got into Batman very recently. The sets really didn't catch my interest when they were out. That's one of the reasons I'm excited about the upcoming Superheroes theme. On a similar note, I now try to get at least the smallest set from every theme (Scarab Attack from Pharaoh's Quest, Alien Striker from Alien Conquest) so I don't regret completely missing a theme later.
  18. It's definitely good to hear they won't be making any changes for the Blu-ray release. I wonder if they'll add/remove/change anything for the 3D releases.
  19. That's true! And I did remember Filoni saying he didn't want to include young Han. I guess we'll have to wait and see...
  20. Yeah, everyone, remember that we haven't heard anything official about the storyline yet. And even even if you don't like it, the sets could still be good.
  21. It would make sense, but I suppose it could just be a small version. Damn, lots of characters and vehicles from the 60's series would've been great in Lego form. And it wouldn't really make sense for Lego to get a whole new license deal for a show that most kids probably won't know. Also, I imagine there will be plenty more Batman sets in the summer wave, what with Dark Knight Rises coming out. It should be a great summer for Bat-fans!
  22. Sorry if this has already been discussed, but if my geekiness serves me correctly, during the Clone Wars, Dengar hadn't had his Swoop Bike accident yet, so when he appears he won't shouldn't have his face-wraps. And if they decided to make an episode of the Dengar's crash, they would have to include a young Han Solo. I don't think anyone really wants that. How do you guys think they'll do that character?
  23. This is a very good-looking MOC! All of the little details really add something to it. Also, using the 2x2 printed tiles as vinyl cases was a stroke of genius.
  24. I wish people did garage sales where I live, you got a great deal! Are you going to be going to garage sales more often now, in case you get lucky again?
  25. Those seem like pretty realistic guesses, Superficial Username. We should have preliminary pictures soon, I can't wait!
