Thanks! Thomas

I also have a second Scania in dark blue with a panel between the axles. The mechanics are identical in both Scanias, but the dark blue one has more space under the panel for a second weight (for better traction). Since the old white rear panel couldn't be builded in dark blue, I went ahead and redid it on both Scania trucks. And I built myself a second tanker trailer. This time in dark orange, which I think goes really well with the dark blue tractor: The tanker trailers and tractor units are also available as instructions on ReBrickable. My fleet is growing, and soon I’ll have enough trailers for a whole train: check out my Modalohr project. I hope you like these little trucks as much as I do. Thomas

It looks great! Because of its length, it really looks like a real train—awesome! I find the single-axle bogies fascinating. That’s bound to be tricky. Thomas

I also like 7w Trucks and have to say: it looks good. But there are also some custom parts, right? Parts that Lego doesn't offer in this color yet. Except for the rims, which you wrote were self-made. Thomas

yes ;-) https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/211415-moc-mini-42043-mercedes-arocs-in-145/ Yes, next time. I think, its better. Thomas

Thank You! Yes, that's my opinion too. Here at City, almost no one is interested in the Moc^^. Unfortunately, it shouldn't be that bad. Supposedly a Eurobricks rule, but it rather puts me off Eurobricks... My little 42043 Arocs, for example, has the same functions as the large Lego set, but it's completely lost here... Thomas

I know, and I've already done that: I was more concerned about the less-than-ideal ready-made solution from TrixBrix. There could have been more to it... Thomas
-
Thank You! Fortunately, we're not building models here, so I can keep rebuilding things ;-) Sometimes more, sometimes less.... Thomas

And the next tractor unit has received an update, this time it's my old Scania with the Hand of God steering system... In front: the new version: shorter wheel base, improved steering rear: the older version from 2023 left side: the new one right side: old... in action: I created at YouTube a Video with the differences (in german, with english subtitles).... Enjoy... Thomas

Technically, I find the new hubs from Trixbrix really exciting and am curious to see what can be done with them. I don't think the application directly at the switch is very well designed: too high, too close to the track. This causes problems with long carriages. Thomas

Thank You. That's the exciting question: where will the journey take us? The museum is closed for now, but I hope that at some point it will be possible to visit the E18-047 again somewhere. Thomas

Thank You. This is an older moc of mine and has been on the BSBT several times, but more like in 2020/2021.... The “Görlitz III light” bogie has a thin connecting rod between the axles, probably for the brake system. I wanted to represent this thin rod with the 1x11 string. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drehgestell_Bauart_Görlitz#/media/Datei:Drehgestell_Goerlitz_III_leicht.JPG Thomas

Yesterday was the last opening day of the Deutsche Bahn Museum's branch exhibition in Halle an der Saale, Germany. It was my last chance to photograph my 18-047 in front of its real-life counterpart. I had been planning to do this for a long time and finally got around to it. Thomas

I converted my first trailer to fit the short tractor 2.0. Together with my Scania, it looks like this: For the trailer, there are also instructions on ReBrickable in this version.... Enjoy Thomas

Cars in 5w are not easy to build, yet this is the right width for passenger cars in minifigure scale. I think your version is very good, even if it's not perfect yet. For example, I find the rear wheel arch still quite “uneven.” I'm still looking for ideas for such vehicles myself, as I need some for a future project. Thanks for sharing! Thomas
