  1. In keeping with the Christmas season, I equipped the small Lego locomotive from set 40777 with a Circuit Cube motor and two small CR2032 batteries. My goal was to leave the appearance as unchanged as possible. I realize that the locomotive is not fully functional in this state, but it can, for example, drive in a circle around the Christmas tree.... left: Lego Set 40777 right: my modifications right side: Lego Set 40777 left side: my modifications I also made a short video explaining the conversion and showing the locomotive in action. Have fun and enjoy the Christmas season. Oh, Christmas is in danger... It wasn't intentional, really... Merry Christmas Thomas
  2. For 6w, I think it's very well done, and I especially like the font. Anyone can make stickers... Thomas
  3. Thanks to the mods for moving this, it fits better here. Thanks also to @mpj and @gyenesvi Thomas
  4. I also like 7w Trucks and have to say: it looks good. But there are also some custom parts, right? Parts that Lego doesn't offer in this color yet. Except for the rims, which you wrote were self-made. Thomas
  5. Thanks! But I'm surprised that your technical implementation of a 4-axle vehicle of this size doesn't look completely different. Very good work, I hadn't noticed it before and I will of course take a look at how you implemented the steering. I'm always happy to learn something new ;-) I rotate a 4L axle (Magenta in the picture). This 4L axle has a lever of 2 studs to the first steering axle and a lever of 1 stud to the second steering axle. This creates the different turning angles of the wheels. Simple, but it works ;-) Thomas
  6. yes ;-) https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/211415-moc-mini-42043-mercedes-arocs-in-145/ Yes, next time. I think, its better. Thomas
  7. Thank You! Yes, that's my opinion too. Here at City, almost no one is interested in the Moc^^. Unfortunately, it shouldn't be that bad. Supposedly a Eurobricks rule, but it rather puts me off Eurobricks... My little 42043 Arocs, for example, has the same functions as the large Lego set, but it's completely lost here... Thomas
  8. Ohh, Your photo really fooled me... ;-) Dark Red is a cool color, I like it! Thomas
  9. Nicely clean constructed and recognizable! Is the color transition from light gray to red constructed with parts in coral? Thomas
  10. I know, and I've already done that: I was more concerned about the less-than-ideal ready-made solution from TrixBrix. There could have been more to it... Thomas
  11. Thank You! Fortunately, we're not building models here, so I can keep rebuilding things ;-) Sometimes more, sometimes less.... Thomas
  12. And the next tractor unit has received an update, this time it's my old Scania with the Hand of God steering system... In front: the new version: shorter wheel base, improved steering rear: the older version from 2023 left side: the new one right side: old... in action: I created at YouTube a Video with the differences (in german, with english subtitles).... Enjoy... Thomas
  13. Technically, I find the new hubs from Trixbrix really exciting and am curious to see what can be done with them. I don't think the application directly at the switch is very well designed: too high, too close to the track. This causes problems with long carriages. Thomas
  14. I love these kinds of SNOT orgies... ;-) Anyone can just stack bricks, but this turns the whole thing into a work of art. I like your ambition not to work with stickers, and I'm excited to see at which event I'll get to see this multiple unit train. Thomas
  15. Thank You. That's the exciting question: where will the journey take us? The museum is closed for now, but I hope that at some point it will be possible to visit the E18-047 again somewhere. Thomas
