Mmmm, fish fingers and custard I was thinking about Madam Malkin’s the other day, and if they had some minifig bodies in the window like in the Lego game. It’d mean we get loads of extra Hogwarts uniforms and then I was wondering if they’d count each of those as 0.5 minifigs - like how Winter Village Bakery has 7.5 due to some legs stuck in the snow ?

With no idea how large the shops are this type of speculation seems a bit pointless. Especially when price per piece is so variable.

Huh, VERY good point! This wave definitely has a lot of female representation. And yes that could be why we haven’t gotten stuff like a troll... but that can be extended to sets. A lot of the sets in the HP reboot are fairly generic, or at the most loosely based around a certain event. Hagrid’s Hut: technically based around Buckbeak’s rescue but really, it’s just a Hagrid’s Hut. Pricey Drive: has the flying Ford so obviously CoS escape, but has references to many of the films. Whopping Willow: the car and the tree are specific, but the castle is just a section of castle that happens to appear in that scene. Many of the castle sets just contain fairly generic classrooms (although some don’t). Then again there’s a lot of specific ones, particularly the Forbidden Forest sets, but in general, any major event that happens inside the castle is put into a more generic castle set, hence no Chamber of Secrets or 3rd Floor Corridor. I guess this is kinda a limitation of the modular style, although Room of Requirement being smaller shows that they’re not only doing larger Hogwarts sets. The more I think about this the more I think of examples where my argument doesn’t apply lol, but there’s certainly much less representation from in-castle events, And where it is represented, it’s a small part of a larger set rather than a set by itself. I actually think the new Creator Pirate Ship could be modified into a Dienstrang ship. It’s a similar scale, and has a similar ish shape. But I’d love to see a Durmstrang ship set!

Well, so much for me buying all the 2018/19 sets before the 2020 ones... couldn’t resist getting the Astronomy Tower and Privet Drive when they were both on offer at Amazon Germany this weekend. Currently built the tower of AT - wow it looks so awesome! I totally love the interesting techniques to get the overhanging section and it looks like it has so much depth from it. I love the details inside, especially the Astronomy ones. And Blimey it’s tall lol. This set is amazing! (Apart from those bookcase stickers. Ugh. and the fact it had a tendency to Collapse on me when building the ceiling of the Ravenclaw dorm!)

He deserves it After months of deceiving us, it feels oh so gratifying to stomp him into the ground  There was also the low chance that their story added up with them posting fake leaks whenever they didn’t use the hashtag (re what they said about the advent calendar being wrong)... so there was still an element of inncocent until proven guilty, even though it was a garbage thing to do. So this is the final final nail in the coffin for them. I also apologise for bringing them up the other week (here I am doing it again, but only because they’ve already been mentioned). I didn’t trust him at all anymore but still felt there was potential for a shred of credibility so I wasn’t willing to completely disregard what they’d said yet. I bet if they made a new account again they’d still have people on IG believing him and asking questions though, just like the most recent one...

Ah I see, Thanks! I think this could be a really cute idea, something a bit different and also something to go with Santa’s Workshop in the fantasy area of my village. It also allows putting only a part of the village on display but still having a proper fleshed our display. I like it!

These minifigs are awesome! A couple of not so interesting characters as expected but a huge amount of awesome ones! I especially love how they’ve gone for a huge variety of years - 2, 3, 4, 6 AND 7. Wow! And even James and Lily too - that’s so cool to get!

They don’t do internships, I looked it up and was sad :( But anyway, I’d say that they’re not gonna soft through every question, eliminating them. They’re just gonna Go down a list and pick ones they’d like to answer until they have a full list. So some questions might not even get considered. That’s what I’d expect anyway - they’re not gonna care that much about it being a fair elimination, as nobody’s gonna know

It certainly would be interesting if KNN’s story turned out to be true, and the leaks that weren’t “fake” turned out to be true...

I hear a lot of people clamouring about Marcos Bessa. I'm curious, what makes him stick out from the others? Is there anything specific? Still being fairly new to the AFOL community and not buying a huge amount of Lego hasn't allowed me to figure it out yet! "Will you be including Tesco Express or Sainsburys Local?"
