Great new ep KDog, I like that you are showing a bit more of Valkyries character, even if you are teasing us with that "almost kiss" I'm eagerly awaiting the next part, excellent use of the Lego Yeti too! Batbrick Away!

Your arguments are filled with so many holes I'm afraid someone will fall through them. I never said I liked the original Batman movies, nor did I ever in fact state that DC makes better movies. Though I'm a comic fanboy too, and am sick and tired of directors changing major comics happenings. Batbrick Away!

The only thing I hated was how Iron Monger looked like as he was flying, my friends and I were crying with laughter in the cinema, he looked like a flying washing machine! Batbrick Away!

I'm a DC boy, what can I say? I go for what's better I never really cared for the Spiderman films, their repetitiveness was very irritating (MJ got kidnapped again *yawn*), and the Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four and original Hulk movies were very underwhelming. I really loved Iron Man however, that was awesome, and the new Hulk isn't too bad. Batbrick Away!

Thanks theriddler, that is one cool demo. I love the opening wit the big three villains all in a cell together, and Clayface while hyperactive is awesome. I really, really hope his hands go big like that when you punch someone and I reckon they will. The Batcave is very nice, too bad about the lack of memorabilia but the vehicles and little details more than make up for it. It seems Killer Moth is on Joker's team as well, poor sod Batbrick Away!

Thanks everyone! I agree the fig is random, it was my comedic attempt at showing how I ripped all the pieces from the Indy sets but I guess it was a little subtle. Sorry I can't post a pic though, the space pod is now just bricks. Again, my failed Indiana Joke Thanks for the compliments. Thanks BB1, and damn it! I had controls and I forgot to put them in! Thanks TheBrickster for commenting, I'm glad you like the colour, thanks! How about no. Thanks Asuka as always. Thanks Shoc! I'm glad you like it, I wanted ot make it ridiculously small so I'm glad I succeeded. Batbrick Away!

Great new ep, I'm glad you managed to post it before you left! I'm even more glad how things turned out, I thought she was playing for a second there *phew* I'm very interested in what the place is, I just hope it isn't the nightmarish place we saw with the dead Captain Dash. If so, I'd hate to be them. Batbrick Away!

Thanks for the comments everyone! Sorry I took so long to reply! Er, what? Thanks Sandy, thanks for noting that little mistake, serves me right for posting that so late Glad you like what's happening. It's a flamethrower, you have no idea how far those bad boys can fire Thanks, and definite agreement here. I was rushing so much to post the topic I didn't read it back and see the faults, so thanks for the little criticism. Thanks Oky! I thankyou for your comments, I tried to make it as original as I could, so I'm glad I succeeded. Thanks mate! And don't worry, brickbuilt creatures are on their way I promise, this part is merely a bridge to further importance. I'm surprised at the faith people seem to have too, especially given the setting. Thanks for the compliments. Thanks mate, glad you like it. Thought you'd like the treads too. Oh and btw, to reveal the mystery of the deadly food, I merely meant a distance glint of sun off a canteen could be mistaken for a fire arm So your votes are: To go with the assailants. To take food and water. To take Sheckles. Batbrick Away!

Myself I quite like it, not enough to buy but I do love its innocence and benign qualities. The fact that it never really had any "battles" is wonderful, and it is nice to see them alongside current minifigs in funny vignettes. But I must admit I've had quite a beef with them lately due to overexposure, most likely due to the Fabuland Builder's Guild, the style which was once unique and vibrant to me became a relative standard. Still, I do admire its qualities. Batbrick Away!

Damn, that thing is lovely. The grey and bley mixing works very well, and I love the part technic, part yellow construction. Stunning work! Batbrick Away!

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Batbrick replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
What's everyone's beef with Aquaraiders? I understand if you hate these, but why compare them to AR? Those sets while they got boring after a while, were really well built, especially the big sub and base, they were magnificent sets. Batbrick Away! -
Great new strip KDog, an a real shocker! Didn't see that coming for sure, can't wait for the next bit. Please hurry! Oh, and I love the references to the four months this took too. Batbrick Away!

The castle and agent sets are finally in Aus! I bought the Agents mission 1 which is great, love Saw Fist. Also got Troll Assault which is good but figs are the main point, and the Troll impulse. Batbrick Away!

Goldeneye easy win, its the only Bond game that never, ever, ever gets old. Batbrick Away!

I'm no cheater. Well, actually I am, but I cheat smart. I certainly would've been scared off! Every piece of that is strange, I always dream about killing members of my own family or having massive arguments with my father in public places, which is much better. So I'm assuming your work was really good to stay on the board? Probably not, the fact that he swung out of the penthouse a lot also didn't help. So when is the big switch on? I haven't been following this much seeing as I'm on holidays. Are you kidding? Pixar films are damn near perfect! I never cared for Disney films either, but honestly Disney just partners with Pixar, no real connection between the work apart from profit interest. I love reading them a lot too, you notice things you never saw before, and continuity bits too. I love looking through my favourite scenes too. Speaking of which, what are your favourite scenes in some Batcomics? Yeah, I love that pretty much all the essentials are mine now, so I can get my admittingly true favourite like the Matt Wagner duology and No Man's Land series. Noo! I still haven't got Volume 4 since I'm constantly running out of money. Seriously, the Agents and Castle sets are now in my stores ( ) so I'm practically doomed. Plus, the very last of the "essentials" - The Man Who Laughs - is now at my comic store, and I really am divided over it or the sets. Speaking of which, I just got it last week! Very nice, I was a bit harsh on the new colours, my gripe with them is that while improving many aspects they seriously destroy the iconic moments. Point in case Joker's famous "Hahaha" panel and the light between Bats and Joker at the end are so pale that they lose their effect. Still loved it though, I just hope since I have it now you don't fall in love with me the same way you did with that girl! Honestly, i'm really getting sick of the Joker. Really sick. Every single major arc he just HAS to be either the big baddie or a part of the huge plan. Seriously, give Scarecrow or Two-Face a go for once, Joker gets very old, especially as of recent. Thanks, I don't know what to get next, maybe Face the Face, I love Two-Fae stories. Or Hush, that is probably an "essential" in retrospect as well. What do you think? Nice, hope that goes well, my job is as boring as ever Say, have you watched Dr Horrible? batbrick Away!

Exactly, there is quite a bit of inspiration drawn from BTAS already in this series but I want the best of all interpretations, and I like red. Very cute, could he hold normal things or just hold a mini tommygun? I'd still prefer a larger Clayface but that is still nice too, plus you could get three of him and claim they are the three different Clayfaces. Yeah, that's what I meant. Nice referencing, he was referring to Scarface being cute though, considering that would be a mini minifig. Batbrick Away!

Oh, and it was SO good! Batbrick Away!

Hush is a bit disappointing in my opinion. Sure it is accurate underneath, but TLC's refusal to make a trenchcoat even in the Lego games annoys me. This is what I was hoping for: Still I love him, especially the head, and if we ever get an official trench coat or I make my own he'll be the first to have it. I doubt we'll play as the construction worker. SWAT member definitely though, they look great, and I reckon those henchmen are Riddler's. That guy in the purple hat and green/white torso is obviously Joker. I and probably Brainbox too had a geek out moment there, that fig is straight out of The Killing joke: WHAT!? You don't like the Aquaraiders sub? That thing is one of the best designed subs ever! And I guess it'll be Penguin's. Hopefully we do, I reckon they will be unlockable. Batbrick Away!

Batzooka too? Ah I see, it would be cool to get a Tim Sale style Poison Ivy though. It does, I've tried it, doesn't really work. Batbrick Away!

Burning crisps of wood and oozing displays of a family history go up in a woosh, in a flash! Poor Larry is not with faith of living this day.

Love it like a pain in the neck. No, finally something on Bond you can say you got right Also, I watched Gremlins, brilliant and hilarious movie. Batbrick Away!
-
Hmmm, Octopussy is all right I guess, but really fails as a bond movie with a fifty something Roger Moore and over the top cheesy moments. Seriously, comedy Bond is not. Dr.No doesn't contain any decoder, it simply explains itself, a machine for decoding top secret Russian spy messages. That said, From Russia with Love is easily one of the best, if not the best of the Bond films. Yes, License to Kill is great, I love Sanchez's death. Actually, I like all the villain deaths. I just thought we could try a little story game here. The aim is to write a description, story or poem about a house on fire without using the letter "E". I had to do this at one of my orientations and it was both frustrating and a fun challenge, so have a go! I'll start with two sentences: A cabin was lit by a tiny spark, and now is abundant in crimson horror. Hot ash is flying around many rooms as a small child shouts amidst the blinding lights of burning wood. Now your turn Batbrick Away! EDIT: CRAP! Missed the E!

In a normal set as well as a giant Ultimate Collectors Edition! Complete with Batphone! I like the dark red, adds a bit more diversity and a bit more "unnatural" sense to her. Please don't say the tumbler wins, it is great sure but so overrated. Who doesn't? He is the best Batman villain ever! Batbrick Away!

Changed my mind on this, I love Two-Face. A brilliant fig, the black/white suite is done great, I only wish he had printing right round one half of his face, but oh well. Batbrick Away!
