  1. Oh, I hadn't noticed this! Great comic so far Hinckley, especially loving the little random touches you put in this, like Hobbes eating a chiken leg in the background and "Who would post something stupid on Youtube?" Keep up the great work, as a watcher of some anime I want this Imitation Anime to go down! Batbrick Away!
  2. Yes! I don't have to triple post now! Anyway, onto my favourite medium stories: Shootin' the solar Breeze: How could one not love this? The classic opener introducing the friendship between Shwartz and Galanos is so perfectly done, even with the vomiting. Last Knight: I'll be honest, the main reason I love this is because of Valkyrie. Though it was also great introducing parallels between her and Shwartz, which is a technique I'd love to see done more often. Also Verwaand's situations are always funny. Prototypical: Robot Love mentioning "voluptous nodules", need I say more? Plus you introduced the Star Justice base. Indiana Shwartz: Of course I loved this. As much as I was disappointed with the movie at the time (I enjoy it for what it is now thanks to you ) these comics are top tier for me. The highlander reference was a brilliant twist on the cliche. Mainly of course the fact that Valkyrie and Shwartz finally get together in the middle of an epic Indy/Ford praise fest was the clincher. Definitely would love to see more specials like this, that are in continuity but celebrate a time, event of movie saga. Blank Attack: Xenu praising Cpldwell is introduced, as well as the first official death in Lego Space comics. The main reason I love this is because of the Magnetiser (have you got it yet?) and the ancient speaking dragons, which were downright hilarious. Last Face You See: I'm gonna be totally honest when I say this thing scared the crap out of me when I first read it. From the mini-twist that he'd been dead from the beginning to the radically bleak tone it sent literal shivers up my spine. The ending too after that long darkness was done so well too, I read it about five times on that day. Yep, a hugie on my list would be to occasionally have more mega-dark comics like this one. Only where appropriate of course, and definitely not often, but to really set a tone it works so well. Creepy Revenge is a Dish Best Served with Champagne: Oh my goodness. Despite initial thoughts that this might not be a fitting punishment I was so proved wrong. The ending was the icing on the cake though, with him liking it. you really need to follow up on that poor brainwashing of Shwartz There we go! I'll post my favourite one-shots later, once again thanks for this awesome comic though KDog, definitely gave me a smile on some dark days this year. Batbrick Away!
  3. Yes! Finally we get to my favourite character and naturally you didn't disappoint. Of course DACTA repeatedly shows their incompetency, I loved how calm and badass Valkyrie was here with her little "Awww" Plus I recognised Walker, part of the old school Blacktron club, stealing the ride! Only two more to go now and then a welll deserved vacation! Batbrick Away!
  4. Thank friend! And you are right, he did end up in Europe! I'm glad you like the Batpod too The Penguin. Oh I knew you would love the puns my prey friend! Thanks a heap, I'm really happy you like the Batpod, I agree it is much more refined than the original. I agree the sticker on the roof sticks out on the Two-Face truck, it is sadly the only thing I cannot change.... Oh and feel free to use in your medieval town, I'd be honoured! You are right LuxorV mate, I am becoming similar to your Super Nova ways Yes, I think most of my remods are final, though perhaps not in some cases. I'm glad you like the Batpod too, I agree it is more simple. Wetwire's is a thing of beauty but I had to sacrifice some details for mine to be more size accurate and like you say sturdy. I'm glad you like the carriage too thanks, I might post the scene from the comic. And yes, once again I thank you a lot for those decals! Thanks mate, glad you like the boat. I did love the fins on the Batboat but felt that out of all the Batvehicles, that was the one that didn't need them. I agree to that the latest chopper version is the best. Well I'm sorry though, but the internet also thinks Miller's The Spirit will be good, so I win! More so, I knew her before you growing up on TAS when she was invented, and I got her figure first I was afraid you'd love this a bit much! It took me ages actually, everything here was ready except for that ages ago. Some of the puns came to me yes, but others I found appropriate after searching puns on the trust internet. And you can make him too! Sadly you being the ego you are you'll probably ruin him... Thanks legoman31, I think I might but I also like to have my own original creations. Oh that would've been so good! Thanks for the suggestion, and glad you liked the Batpod. Thanks everybody who commented! Batbrick Away!
  5. That is one of the best Batman mocs I've ever seen. Ever. Seriously you've blown me away Righteous Squid with this thing, it's sheer brilliance! The use of the cement turner is absolutely beautiful, can you please post a pic of how it runs when the wheels spin? Like Oky I had no idea what else it could be used for. Good choice of wheels too, and the front snow shovel is awesomely appropriate. I don't think there's a single thing about this MOC I don't like, I even love the effects for the snow. The big ice cannon on top is also great. Seriously, I keep poring over the pics again and again because of how good this machine is. Heck, I'm even in love with the mini-tpwer Mr.Freeze gets to sit in. Everything works! Oh, and now I'm super looking forward to that SWAT gunship! Batbrick Away!
  6. Of course, the twins! How could I forget? *slaps forehead* The info box came in handy this time seeing as I never could tell which personality belonged to which for obvious reasons. The fact that you brought the "argunig with themselves, or something" made me laugh, I never could tell! Batbrick Away!
  7. Gotcha, thanks! Anyway, an awesome new advent calender comic. Great job on getting this far KDog, be proud of your efforts! Awesome to Dash here, I loved that he doesn't even say a word. Plus you took advantage of DACTA's stupidity again I can guess three of the top four: Valkyrie, Shwartz and Galanos. No idea for the other one though. Batbrick Away!
  8. Oh, I hate clothes for Christmas (unless it's a cool new hat or a trenchcoat), yet my mother always finds a way to sneak some in. Here's the list of what I'm getting though: The Dark Knight, BTAS volume 4, Batman: Haunted Knight, Batman and the Monster Men, Batman and the Mad Monk, Strange Apparitions, Face the Face, Paul Dini Detective, Gotham Central 5: Dead Robin. And some clothes Not a bad score eh? What? I love the bucket, apple and carrot, I don't have any fruit bar a banana, which is boring! It's a nifty idea if different from Knightfall, but my problem with it is that ultimately RIP had nothing to do with Bruce giving up the Batman identity, just him fighting the lamest "pure evil" ever. Still, I'll give Morrison one more chance before I give up on him, hopefully the events of RIP will still have repurcussions on Final Crisis. Speaking of, not enjoying that story either. Of the big trinity Wonder Woman has become an evil fury, Superman is off planet not helping, and Batman is killing thousands of evil Batmen using only his brain. Three guesses as to which one Grant likes best Oh, great theorising there! If something similar happens then I might like it, but I hope it's not just one of those cliche "Gotham needs a Batman, someone must step up!" "I will!" "No I will" "Fight!" "KO!" "Finish him!" "Johnny Cage wins!" scenarios Also Hush better be written good, you read Tec 851 yet? I like what you said though, either that or Damian dying from pack dogs ripping out his nuts. Either is okay! Aww, I like Valley. Even if he a villain-you-love-to-hate in Knightfall he was pretty awesome in Sword of Azrael and the earlier issues of his miniseries. He's like Cass, a person trained to be nothing but a killer, but managed to become someone more. 'Course Cass is way cooler but you get my point. I finish in the early summer yes. But screw Australia, I haven't got a patriotic bone in my body! Your people ruined it! Nah I'm kidding, the Brits are a good laugh, masters of comedy and wit well known That's exactly what went through my mind when I decided to buy it. The store has some TBPs as cheap and others ridiculously overpriced, as this was 55 dollars! Still, I thought what you said and was not disappointed, especially with Blades. I actually don't like Hardcovers though, as they tend to be different sizes (example, The Killing Joke deluxe edition is way too big) and wreck some of the continuity of the paperbacks which look very nice all lined out. However, TotB and TMWL are quite good in that they are only slightly larger than your usual paperback. Also, a bit random, but you read Trinity by Matt Wagner right? Cool, just don't hurry it though. Take your time. Although you could hurry it if you wish and learn the wonders of meeting a deadline should you ever look into becoming a comic writer They are very good. We finally get to see Blue Beetle, Red Tornado and Plastic Man in significant roles! (They were three of like five characters not given good roles in the DCAU) Oh, and in case you don't reply in time, Merry Christmas! :skull: Batbrick Away!
  9. This set is so wonderful! I love it! Thanks Emilec so much for reviewing it, I really hope to be able to buy it Batbrick Away!
  10. Yes! Amarillo! Good update info as well. I'd completely forgotten about Churchill the robot, you'll have to give him a one-shot one day. All though with all your plots planned out I'm sure he's in one somewhere Of course DACTA manages to show off their incompetency once again, I think this is another of my favourite Calender ones you've done so far, what with me being somewhat of a geek with these kind of things the concept of aliens getting old after a while is genius in my books! Good job on getting back on schedule too! Also did you want me to go ahead and post my next review bit in your other topic? It's lain dormant a bit but I'm not sure on triple posting? Batbrick Away!
  11. Okay, I've decided. I'm getting this: CASTLE: 7078 - Castle King's Battle Chariot - 103 Pieces 7079 - Castle Drawbridge Defense - 335 Pieces 7097 - Castle Trolls' Dark Fortress - 844 Pieces The Dark Fortress intrigues me most, I'm hoping for some awesome pieces and figs. SPACE: 5969 - Squidman Escape - 42 Pieces 5970 - Freeze Ray Frenzy - 80 Pieces 5971 - Gold Heist - ? Pieces 5972 - Container Heist - 282 Pieces 5973 - Hyperspeed Pursuit - 456 pieces 5974 - Galactic Enforcer - ? Pieces KDog's got me hooked on Space right now so I'll try and get all of them provided the quality is good. INDIANA JONES: 7195 - Ambush In Cairo/Egyptian Bazaar - 79 Pieces 7196 - Chauchilla Cemetery Battle/Mutt Chase - 186 Pieces 7197 - Venice Canal Chase/Venice Race - 186 Pieces 7198 - Fighter Plane Attack/Plane Race - 384 Pieces 7199 - The Temple Of Doom - 384 Pieces Definitely all of these. The Indy sets have the greatest sets/fig/pieces I've seen in ages. AGENTS: 8967 - Gold Tooth's Getaway - 68 Pieces 8968 - River Heist - 203 Pieces 8969 - 4-Wheeling Pursuit - ? Pieces 8970 - Robo Attack - 414 Pieces 8971 - Aerial Defence Unit - ? Pieces I'll try for all the Agents, though I may not get them all, like with this year. POWER MINERS: 8962 - Crystal King - 168 Pieces 8963 - Rock Wrecker - 225 Pieces 8964 - Titanium Command Rig - 701 Pieces I am intrigued. Especially by the big Titanium Rig. I'll be uncertain till I see them though. Batbrick Away!
  12. Wonderful review GIR! I really love this set now. I wasn't sold on it before but now I'll most likely buy, why did Power Miners turn out to be such a great theme? I love all the different pieces, especially the TNT, canopy and wonderful lime. The rock monster is sweet too, I definitely want a couple for my Interactive Apocalypse. Batbrick Away!
  13. Fantastic review Edbeereis1! Man I gotta say, all these Power Miners reviews are making me love some of these sets! I still won't get all the sets, but this big one sure is tempting. I think if the colour scheme was red and lime I'd prefer it though, as I wanted a red bike for Robin Still, I love a lot of features of this, and that front wheel looks to work really good. Batbrick Away!
  14. Incorrect. Harley has only just recently turned good and will most likely turn back and Killer Croc has NEVER been a giant towering bloodthirsty monster (excluding Hush), he is a muscular man with Epidermolytic Hyperkerotosis, a skin disease. Mind you in the upcoming Arkham Asylum game he is depicted as a giant monster. Batbrick Away!
  15. As usual this is a beautiful creation DNL, I especially love your tree and roof designs. They may not be the overyl noted bits of the moc but they are just so detailed and fit in so well. The foliage in your top picture is also exceptional. Beautiful creations! Batbrick Away!
  16. You're on a roll! Love the head design here, it may just be me but I think it makes it look slightly Egyptian in nature especially with the "teeth" on the sides. Batbrick Away!
  17. That's really cool, they look like robots now though, not really Castle or History. Love the cannon arms though. Batbrick Away!
  18. Wow! That's an awesome modification of a skellie, very imaginative and very successful. I especially love his shoulder flames. If it doesn't mind you, may I make a similar design for my Apocalypse moc? Batbrick Away!
  19. I was hoping to see G-Bot in the advent calender and you didn't disappoint. I actually expected to see a cameo by his "kids" but I laughed at the "there's not that much of a difference, really" I was really happy to see Scouse as I thought you'd forgotten about him! Good to see you're up to speed in your own continuity, it was hilarious to see Magnetica again, given how much Scouse preferred her over her actually real sister. Batbrick Away!
  20. Oh dear, I'd better change mine quick! I'd completely forgotten! There! I'm really happy with it actually, even if Two-Face is completely unsatisfied with his candycane! Batbrick Away!
  21. Very good points, I'd say this was definitely the reason for withholding more Castle sets. Considering that this theme is still going so strong and merits its own civilian market street though? I'd say we have nothing to worry about regarding getting more sets in the future. As much as I'd prefer more Castle right now, I'd have to say a smart move for TLC, especially since in the past themes have failed because of heaps of other equally big themes. Batbrick Away!
  22. This is thing is awesome! Love the way you've captured the Dwarven style, and the two cannons at the back a pretty sick. The fact that two bulls pull it is my favourite touch, though I think it needs an extra set of wheels. Apart from that it's awesome. Batbrick Away!
  23. Nice Battle Wagon Tin7! Love the elfish design to it, and the way both the men are positioned on it. I also think though that some brighter colours like white would mix better with the horse so it looks more elfish. Batbrick Away!
  24. Hello EB, welcome to Bat Mocs'n'Mods 6, the next installment in the possiblly-neverending-till-I-croak Batman related goodies. By now once more you will have realised that your free makeup kit was merely an elaborately staged hoax to get you to come here! Muhahaha! The Batpod is real though! Anyhoo, today we have: 0 mods because there's really nothing left to mod. 3 updations (mods of mods) 2 creations 1 vig And a zany new villain... Part 1 - The Mods Well that was easy, moving on Part 2 - The Updates: Batboat remod: Here is the link to my original mod. As you can see I've gone further now than simply blackening it up and added normal transparent pieces. With the miniboat abolished in order to make my cooler Batboat I decided to fill up that empty space with something much more useful: The rear compartment is perfect for storing much needed equipment for the Caped Crusader and is easily detachable since it is connected only by technic pins. It can be accessed from within the Batboat or opened up from the outside. Closed and Open. Another shot of it opened: The rear tow cables are also for towing away vehicles owned by enemies or stranded innocents. It actually works, trust me: And of course a slick last shot: Two-Face Truck remod: Basically in the comics and every other medium he's appeared in including lego Two-Face has his scars on his left side. I only realised just realised a month or two ago that the colours on the Lego truck were on the wrong sides, so I fixed them up: I'm pretty darn sure I haven't posted this before, but anyway I'm really happy how it turned out: Joker Copter remod: As you can see in my Original mod I eliminated the "bubble" style cockpit completely, giving it a more sleek design. Unfortunately my mod plagued me for ages until I realised I had taken away the "Jokerish" element of it. Sure I didn't like how the original cockpit was so large and cumbersome, but I further disliked how I had taken away that Clown feeling. So I decided to reinstate the bubble style but in a more effective way than the original set: As you can see the bubble style is not nearly as pronounced as the actual set but no totally gone like in my unsuccessful first mod. The copter is now sleeker while still being fun and also boasts a much better control system: ^Seriously, I Harley so much! Part 3 - The Creations The Batpod: In all seriousness, this moc is one of my proudest creations. Thanks to both Wetwired - who provided inpspiration for the chassis connections - and Brainbox - who came up with the wheel gun design. Apart from that I feel I came up with a really cool and accurate design that is very close to the actual Batpod's size compared to the minifig: I'm really happy with how the fig clips onto the ride, it took me a while to get it right but I feel the "shoulder pads" worked well as a connection point: ^He normally lies more flat than that sorry. Another shot without without the rider: It's also very mobile, swerving the corner! And it came all the way from my original design (which btw I still think is not that bad): Scarecrow's Carriage: I felt Scarecrow deserved a much cooler scarier vehicle than the Cropduster, which was admittingly cool still: I'm really happy how the wooden effect came out as well as the writhing snakes within: The carriage is heavily based on "The Long Halloween"s Scarecrow Carriage in which Scarecrow and Mad Hatter are hired to loot the Gotham Bank: Part 4 - The Vig A Scarecrow Halloween: As a Proffesor and Chemist specialising in the realm of fear, Dr Jonathon Crane better known as the Scarecrow will do anything to further his research in the study of sheer horror. Halloween is of special significance to him due to its dark nature and so the Master of Fear creates an elaborate setup to fit: But wait! Is that a victim in that pit of snakes?! My goodness it is! it is the Bat himself! "No longer will you be the greatest source of terror in Gotham, Happy Halloween Batman! It will be your last!" Yes I know I'm ridiculously late for Halloween, sue me. Part 5 - Attack of the Punster! A daring new criminal has struck Gotham! He calls himself the Punster, and makes various pun based crimes combined with illogical modes of attack. Upon research Batbrick has identified the fiend as none other than Brainbox. This man suffers from delusions after fighting in the war. He survived mustard gas and pepper spray and is now considered a seasoned veteran. However his pathos go farther back than that. Brainbox left school not because he disliked it but because of the principal of it. Growing up in dark places he dropped out of communism as well as a result of lousy Marx. Things were looking up for him when he became a banker but he quickly lost interest. Now he scourges Gotham as the vengeful Punster, destroying all that led his life into the way it is now! The Punster first struck when he pushed an old butcher friend of his backward into a meat grinder saying "looks like you'll get a little behind in your work!" After nearly pushing an old friend off a cliff "because gravity is always putting people down" Batbrick caught up with him. Unfortunately the Punster brought some illogical weaponry previously noted: After losing the battle when a pencil used to stab Batman broke and was subsequently pointless, The Punster tried to escape on a motorbike. Unfortunately he soon crashed because a bike can't stand up when it's two-tired: When the Punster replied he would escape prison Batbrick simply replied "Ah, but prison walls are never built to scale!" Much later Brainbox was given probation from Arkham since he supposedly had overcome his obsession (He no longer tried to give out dead batteries free of charge). As part of his probation, he had to serve the humiliating job of being Eb member The Penguin's umbrella holder fro several weeks: The first rule given to him by The Penguin was "No puns whatsoever!" Upon replying "Ah but seven days without a pun makes one weak" The Punster was promptly sent back to Arkham. forever. The End! Hope you liked the whole thing and please comment! See if you can also find all the puns! Batbrick Away!

    Neo Nova

Very nice remod LuxorV! I love the enhanced cockpit and revamped red/yellow colour scheme the most. I hope you achieve perfection eventually! Batbrick Away!
