Sorry for the bump, but a lot of eps have passed and this is quickly on its way to surpassing (wait for it) BTAS as my favourite DC show ever! Seriously guys, watch the eps on youtube if you have to *cough*account BlueBeetle43*cough* And now just for hype, an upcoming episode preview has come out, here's the synopsis: Batman swaps places with Owlman -- his criminal counterpart in an alternate Universe -- to stop the Crime Syndicate from taking over the world. He must team up with the hero Red Hood (who famously becomes the Joker in the real universe) to stop them! Check it out: And the Part 2 synopsis: Meanwhile back on Earth, Owlman has been perpetrating crimes disguised as Batman and assembled all the villains to join him. When Batman returns, he finds himself on the wrong side of the law and hunted by Green Lantern, Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Red Tornado and Plastic Man. It

Total and utter agreement. I'll vent my absolute joy at the wonder these sets bring to my heart tomorrow, but i will say a few things that are especially good: -Squidman, just brilliant. I'll get two of his set and use his body for a Poison Ivy plant monster. -The Statue, this proves to me how much effort TLC put into this line, especially with the message at the bottom -the Space Police Hyperspeed Pursuit vehicle, just look at those engines and tell me this doesn't deserve to be remembered as a great. -The skull twins, creepy and badass in perfect sync -Actual policing, who would have thought? -the trans blue, now I can make a Nora Fries cryogenic tube! Loving the new set pics. Troll Fortress as I suspected is exploding with awesome. The "pockets" where the Giant Trolls go is ingenious, and man do they look cool with their new dark armour and tattoos. Love the dark brown clubs too. The King Orc fig is fantastic, I love his bronze helm and missing eye, very nice detail there. Those new flame pieces rock too. The witch also looks great as already seen, can't wait to get my hands on that green lightning piece. Those dark red teeth pieces will be mighty useful as well. The drawbridge defense we've already seen a lot of, so I'll just say that I love the Jester reverse face, and that the Gold Knight is awesome. The chariot I'm less enthused about, I'll definitely mod it a bit to include two horses. Useful dark blue pieces though. Definitely getting the lot this year! Batbrick Away!

So much love right now for the Indy line I can't believe purple is back so quick! Eee! Cairo Fight still looks ridiculously good, I'm going to try and get atleast 3 of these bad boys. And Marion has a new and better face! Mrrow! Love it so much. I'm so glad Indy has a new face too. Mola Ram looks great too, that shrunked Lego head on his helm is so win. Willie's new look is also fantastic, I especially love the dress, this will be perfect for Talia. Air Chase still looks good, but it is admittingly my least anticipated set. I do love that the German plane has detachable wings though. The skull warriors in the cemetery battle are astoundingly good. As Righteous Squid said, perfect henchmen for Scarecrow, or perhaps Black Mask and his False Face society? And no matter how overpriced Venice Chase gets I am so buying it. The Fez's look great, and I love the Brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword minifigs. Elsa looks fantastic too, love that new hairpiece. Too much goodness! Batbrick Away!

Oh, very interesting news! I'm admittingly most excited about obtaining a Buzz Lightyear minifig and any cool character from Prince of Persia. I don't know anything about the latter, but it should be a gold mine for minifig parts! Batbrick Away!

This is easily the best Lego, nigh, best THING ever! Seriously, this is hilariously good fallentomato, I think my favourite aspect is the random red octopus. Batbrick Away!

It means "Thirty years of building and the sky is still unlimited". Anyway, I'm currently too happy to comment, so I'll just say that if I die tomorrow, I die knowing Lego space is safe.... Batbrick Away!

Unbreakable. It was......interesting. I'm divided over it, it was a great examination of fictional tales of heroes and villains spanning comics, films and literature, but it was also very slooooow, and some bits were kind of off and unnecessary. Worth checking out though. Of course it was directed by M. Night Shamalyan, and his films tend to be all over the place sometimes. Batbrick Away!

Well, it's been a good deal of time since I posted here. I think since then I've bought the following: Shanghai Chase Fight on the Flying Wing Clone Trooper Walker Oh, that's it? Wow, I'm not doing too good then Batbrick Away!

Woah! Very nice Captain Green Hair, you have a good command over parts as evident here. I love the spare wheel and hatch on the respective sides, that's a great attention to detail. The front looks very accurately made too, fantastic work! Batbrick Away!

Very nice, I like the way you've taken us through the loading process too. Can we get a better look at it though please? Overall very neat, any more creations in this style coming our way? Batbrick Away!

Oh that is wonderful! so brilliant, I wish I could make things like this. apart form all those awesome chicken pieces, I think my favourite part is the use of top hats as buttons, simply ingenious! Batbrick Away!

Puuuurrrple! I love this so much, like Zero said we all need more pruplre mechs. The construction looks simple but beautiful, I also love the use of those spikes on the top. The cockpit looks great, what piece is that trans one? Overall a very nifty creation, I hope to see more mech work from you! Batbrick Away!

Once again everyone prooves they are far better at making spaceships than me Great stuff, I love the chunky look of it. The front guns look great, fantastic use of the tire treads. The engines on the sides looks very cool too, I like the way you've used the ball joint connector. The reverse cockpit looks neat too. Great ship overall, the use of stickers only makes it better! Tectovian military truck and "Sparker" light combat Bot
Batbrick replied to ProducePrincess's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Great stuff, both look very good but the truck looks the best to me. I love the little cockpit and the tire choice, and the girders it is transporting look really neat on it. The robot I agree could use some work and I see that it would be fairly fragile. Over all tohugh it is a really neat piece of work. Like LuxorV said too, the snow background looks ace! Good idea to touch up your photos TheBrickster, I do remember this one. Tex Grimwell is an awesome sounding name, you really have a talent for that. Like always, it's the little details that get me, the keep out sign, the torch, the suspended hay, the outhouse, the lantern, it all adds up and really makes the moc so much better. Nice use of lighting too, I don't know if this was intentional or not, but the way the darkness obscures the majority of the interior really plays up the dread, we don't know hwat's in there... I can tell this is one of your earlier ones given how much better you are now, but it still stands up. I just wish the building was a touch wider, but that's a minor criticism. Anyway, I'm always up for commenting on Gravestone, so bring some more! Batbrick Away!

How do you manage to make such simple things as moving hay so creepy TheBrickster? I guess it's just your natural talent I really like the green in this one, it's not something I expected, but I find it really works. Snotworth (awesome name by the way) is certainly a despisable character already, whipping his horse and using the wagon to transport his victim to a more hidden place (I presume anyway). How is everyone in Gravestone not dead yet anyway? Great little moc TheBrickster, I hope you go on to make more eventually, I'm a big fan if gravestone. Batbrick Away!

How did I miss this!? My apologies TheBrickster, I really need to focus on this subforum more. Anyway, onto the creation: I love it, it really fits into your other Grave Stone creations but like the others has its own feel. You've definitely succeeded with the Log Cabin look, what with the tree, well, rock and general small look of the place. The tree looks very imposing too, like oyu said I reckon rounded bricks would look better, but that doesn't dilute the effect is has. I especially like the way you've done the black branches off the tree, I've never seen such a simple yet well working technique. The shack itself is a neat little thing, the simplicity of it really works, and I like the set of horns at the top. I think one of my only criticisms here is the blue window, I just don't think that colour gels very well with the rest. The wheel and tools out front are a nice touch too. I think that's something I always enjoy about your mocs TheBrickster, just the little things. Oh, and Harold Axewood looks very suitable. I'm not sure about the skeleton in the barrel though, I'm guessing that's a trespasser, not his wife yes? Anyway, another great creation, I'll now go and comment on your others! Batbrick Away!

Oh that is beautiful. The temple is wonderfully designed, I especially like the spire at the top. The red slopes blend in seamlessly too. I love the use of handcuffs and axes, very clever. And that cart is amazing. Top job! Batbrick Away!

I think the Troll Fortress is looking a lot better now, but I think it still needs to have a good view from above to see it truly with justice. I really, really hope the Trolls are as they are depicted on the box. I also just realised that the King Orc's crown is perhaps bronze! It'll certainly be hard to get these sets among the Indy, Space Police and Agents of this year, but I reckon I'll manage. It seems sadly I'll have to give up on the Castle Market Street unless it turns up here though Oh well, atleast I'm definitely getting the Drawbridge Defense for that gold Knight, Jester and Queen. Batbrick Away!

Well it seems the prices are going to be pretty bad. That's annoying, especially since I'm definitely getting every set, but i'll just get them on sale then. Really, given that the Cairo Fight will be the standard price of the two other small Indy sets, I'm planning on getting 3-4 of those so I can get some awesome ninjas and turbs for Ra's Al Ghul's army Really though I'm just glad we're getting such awesome sets. Remember last year when we thought we were getting no Temple of Doom sets? What a dark day that was, now we get a Temple of Doom! Batbrick Away!

Yeah, I agree with the general consensus that there's nothing wrong with the themes. Well, except Mars Mission. Sorry but I still find it odd, technically we are the invaders. It doesn't matter whether they struck first because they have every right too, we're screwing with their planet and taking their crystals which is their necessary power source. Heck, as much as I hate them, I'm rooting for the jellies in this scenario Oh, and I'm definitely agreeing with whoever said the commissioner should be an alien for space Police, that'd be sweet. Batbrick Away!

I'm just too glad about the variety to be honest, though Lego really dropped the ball on including Cyclops in the Cargo Escape set and the impulse. If you have a larger set then you always are meant to have a special fig in it to draw customers. I can't wait to get my hands on these figs though. Squidman looks fantastic especially with his revised colours. The twins are scarily awesome, and that four armed thing is another must have. Spike's helmet would look great in the Orc armies too. Batbrick Away!

All I know is that I'll be switching up some of my Space Police and Alien heads so I can make it more like Joebot said, a sort of Green Lantern core against any alien or human who goes against the law. Batbrick Away!
