I was thinking the same thing! Seriously man, really curious as to how this happened. Also, props on bringing back Ice Babe too. Will this arc factor into the larger story or be a subplot? Or another larger story? Batbrick Away!

Hello, and welcome back to Interactive Apocalypse! :pir-skull: If you are not familiar with this engaging interactive moc storyline, here is a massive but exciting lot of background to look up: The Introduction Part 1 - Safe Season Part 1.5 - Strangers Part 2 - Surviving Part 2.5 - The Deadzone Part 3 - Mistakes Part 3.5 - Captured Part 4 - Where Loyalties Lie Part 4.5 - Xenu's Sea Fortress Part 5 - The Battle Part 6 - The Prison Part 7 - The Ambush First of all fans of IA I am sincerely sorry for taking this long to post this. There are many reasons for this, laziness, being busy and photography troubles, but it is finally here. Last time you had been saved by mysterious attackers. You chose to approach them and take Sheckles the crazy old man with you. You were in luck, Sondra (your long lost girfriend) was behind your escape, but a shock greets you: Yes, that's right, Sondra is the cyborg with missing arm and cybernetic chest! It seems following the battle many of your friends were severely injured and recieved implants from Ian Ded, technological genius. This sight no doubt shocked you, but even more the ones missing from the group. Here are the survivors: Sparks is the only one unchanged, still sarcastically comforting as always. But Captain McCoy and Piranha are both no longer who they used to be. Once the light hearted crew members now the Captain is as alien and detached to you as his robotic face, and Piranha is a being full of rage at having to abandon his water home. Ian Ded has given himself an upgrade also. Strangers greet you as well: It seems in order to survive Xenu's former team is now leaded by Sondra, who kept her fighting spirit. She made a truce with The Brotherhood, a ragtag group of survivors who had survived (duh) The Swarm and became fierce enemies of Dragonator. Not a whole lot is known of them, but they were once a large group who led by a mysterious man close to Dragonator betrayed and tried to overthrow him. Obviously they failed. You are glad to be back however, as though your friends are now faded memories of what they are now, they are still friends. All are glad to see you, especially Sondra, though she is finding it extremely difficult to be around you now that you are back. Of course, you must commend the team on the spot they chose for their base: In perfect position to evade both The Swarm and Dragonator, the ship of the desert also provides the perfect defense against oncoming threat: When the oceans dried up after The Cataclysm that created this wasteland, this ship became one of its relics: Of course with so little space one must sleep wherever one drops, or in the "car": Sondra and the Brotherhood leader discuss plans against Dragonator's expanding empire: The most vulnerable part of the ship is the stern, where oil and explosives preside: A catapult is also part of the weapons, you'll notice the chain from it attaches to a lever near Sparks. It hurls energy charges to both kill and knock out electrical systems: See in the background I've moved the lever? Believe it or not, but it actually works very well! Fortunately a monkey lightens the mood for you: This towertop gunner can aim in all directions incase another gun can't, its position serves as a Crows Nest to see trouble early as well: Four massive cannons protect the side more likely to be attacked. The shells are enough to halt even another Death Roller maybe: Protective gates open and guns out ready: Another shot of the powerful weapons. Inside the bay is many crates of ammunitions, shells and grenades: Of course four mini cannons protect the other side with explosive shells: Another shot of the smaller cannons. The tower at the back has been crudely recreated as the heart of operations: A Dragonator spy who gave an outpost's location away is held captive atop, ready to be feasted upon by birds of prey: The upper story is accessed by the ladder here: The back of the behemoth. A flamethrower sits here, as well as you still in your prison clothes. The other ladder leads to the jail "cell": Another cool shot of the rear. And another as well. Shots of the beauty without crew: And just for you Dragonator, while not bing or my best, I thought you might appreciate some little critters to pick the flesh off the soon-to-be-dead spy: Aptly, they are called Vultures: Not in luck my friend, not in luck at all.... Now, you've only stayed a while and gotten used to the company of strangers and changed friends. However, you of all people know that here this hellhole works is always to be done. The information from the spy you captured has provoked interest, and the Brotherhood friends are planning to infiltrate an outpost he has revealed and take some secrets among other things from it. You know Dragonator well after being with him once, should you assist? Also, Sheckles has recognised the map on the ship's deck, and claims the he knows a location of a treasure Dragonstor wishes to seek. Whatever he did to the dictator to lead to his imprisonment must be big, so should you take his word for it and search for this important "treasure"? Your friends, chiefly McCoy, is planning on taking a trek to the mountains to look for more materials and survivors. Go with him? So many options and so many people to talk too, your two years of loneliness have been shattered and now you are too a shadow of your former self like your friends. Decide what to do quickly. The world is becoming dark and cold..... Now a couple of day shots: Can you survive? Well I hope you liked it. Comments appreciated. Mysteries will be revealed I assure you, and and I have a much more solid plan as to how this arc will progress so I can also assure this time was not wasted (Don't worry, your votes have a major effect and will decide the details and outcome of the story). Also know that this was a common occurrence that lead to a few delays: Oh the pain of rebuilding to exact specifications! Anyway, thanks again and hope you enjoyed! Batbrick Away!

Great new comics KDog! Sorry I missed the one yesterday. Love Shwartz talking about how everything ends up okay for him, as well as his ridiculous campaign promise realisation. The next one was very surprising! I laughed at Ice Babe and her "badass neon chainsaw" as I've oft wondered the purpose for that colour. Also loved the "sister" bits, poor Ronald. And the end, er, this could be a tricky situation Keep 'em coming! Batbrick Away!
-
I love delicious free things! Batbrick Away!
-
Haha! That was great! Love the Vanilla Snowball bit and Valkyrie knowing she'd beat Blacktron in a fight. Also, Shwartz little confession at the end is great. Is this going to do one more comic? Looks like its almost done now that the tiny beer wanting fleet has helped. Batbrick Away!

Wrong. There is still Ra's, Talia, Hush, Ventriloquist and Black Mask are all major Batman baddies. Not to mention we haven't got a heap of major good guys like Gordon, Batgirl and Oracle. So hopefully the line continues. My hope is swaying admittingly, but I still refuse to simply keep posting "I think the line is over" all the time (not referring to you) Batbrick Away!

Thanks for the review! I'll definitely be buying atleast one of these. The figs are great, and I want that gate piece, and the trailer has cool big white pieces. The four wheel drive is great, I love the colour scheme, as well as the windows. The main reason though will be the black hat, orange hair and tuxedo. Batbrick Away!

Oh man this is such a good arc! I was laughing at the "One heck of a woman" comment. Certainly still interested in where this is going. On a more important matter (you'll understand), how was your reaction to the Space set list KDog? Batbrick Away!

Thanks for yet another great review TheBrickster. I love the look of this little set. you are right, these new cannons are very cool, and I like the pieces here, such as the new flame, foliage, shiny cannon and figs. I'll definitely be getting this. Batbrick Away!
-
Thanks for the review TheBrickster! I quite like the look of this set, the brown and tan are very useful. The figs of course are wonderful, but I am disappointed a lot by the octopus. In the prelim pictures it was trans red, and looked much better. Oh well, I still might get it, thanks for the review again! Batbrick Away!

I'm getting these all. Plus doubles. Sounds fantastic, though Plane Chase, Temple of Doom and Ambush in Cairo excite me most. The Temple of Doom will be wonderful for Mola Ram, and I really hope for Thuggee and Cairo swordsman minifigs. Plane Chase excites me as I'm a world war 2 plane nut, so getting that Messerschmidt would be a dream come true. Batbrick Away!

Wow man! Loving that Batcave and Batmech! The immense detail in your design of both is stunning to say the least. Love the garages and techlab, seriously that is my favourite little detail I've seen in a custom Batcave, love all the little instruments. The items holder is neat too with the weapons and tidbits. The levels of it and stairs and everything just works so well, I love it! You've given me a lot of great ideas for modding my Batcave. The Batmech is also very good, I'm surprised at how well that cockpit piece works. The Batwings are necessary of course, and I love the hand and feet design. It looks pretty stable too, and the slight gold/black scheme also works very well. I hope to see more batcreations from you! Batbrick Away!

I'm guessing there'll be more Castle sets, but if thee are all, then I'm still psyched for the Troll Mountain Fortress. Sounds fantastic, and I can't pass up on the troll witch. Batbrick Away!
-
Those Indy and Agents sets are sounding great. Mostly looking forward to Indy, though I am very happy with the sound of a Troll Castle as well. Space sounds odd in a good way, I hope to get this Squidman! Batbrick Away!
-
Thanks for the review! I must say this set seems much better tan I thought, I'll definitely be getting it for that baseplate, very useful. The figs are great especially that poor sad castaway, and I love the little accessories like the fish and foliage. Batbrick Away!
-
Amen man! I'm loving the idea of a Robo Attack, in any form! Thanks for the info guys, they all sound great. i'm disappointed we don't get new villains, but atleast we get new ones for the same team most likely. Batbrick Away!

Oh, that sucks. You could always get one another day when this one fizzles though. BTAS 4 arrived the other day too, the style change is not as good, especially in the Joker's case, but its worth it all for Mad Love ad other eps. Speaking of which, watched any more eps? They have cool vehicles? I'm sold. As with Transformers and Thunderbirds, the selling point ofr kids and us geeks is the "toyline" value. The more likely an awesome vehicle/s that is no doubt just made to sell figurines is in the show, the higher chance we'll watch it Funnily enough I got jeepers from my own reflection. And I wasn't even ugly! Seriously, I kept imagining tihs evil me would jump out of the mirror while I was looking at it. Mostly I can just get myself scared though by imagining creepy situations. No, I watch things from that perspective too, I love recognising the factors that make it better. I did find it odd that the military and several people do know Jeff Tracy's name too. Oh well, I guess the top men help fund or clear up confusion for them. Yes, I noticed that. The human hands use is actually quite streamlined too. But not to poke a hole in your theory, but wasn't Grandma just cooking then? Anyway, watched another childhood favourite: The Man from MI5. I love the spy feeling of this one. How dark was the five shot kill at the start though? Penelope is awesomely calm here too, and Parker is hilarious trying to thieve again. Plus we get more TB4 action. Must say though, the end is a little anticlimactic, but still a very enjoyable episode nonetheless. I'm getting really clueless at this. Back off, she's mine! Jekyll and Hyde is quite good, the art is simply beautiful. What do oyu think of the Murray part? I actually liked it as a noncanon interpretation. I really want to read those Batman Chronicles, I love those early Golden Age stories. Or is it not Golden Age by the issues those have? Torment I didn't get a whole lot fussed over, if its the one I'm thinking of. Is it the one with Dustin Nguyen art? If so, then you'll know why its worth checking out, Dustin is my new favourite artist Yeah, I'm definitely buying a Two-Face suit and Riddler suit later in life. Oh, and tell me tell me tell me tell me tell me tell me! (Or better yet, post pics when it happens) Dammit. I hate him so much. I'm already ahead of you on the Scarecrow story, I really liked it. It needs rereading because its a tad confusing though. How good was the art? It wouldn't work for a normal Batstory, but it was very good here I felt. I preferred the days when Brainac was a more detached individual. Seriously, I highluy doubt the most intelligent being in the universe would go after petter revenge. Done, I've sent them to you. Really like the way this is going, so thanks again for letting me help out. You may notice that since you're writing a lot better now I'm putting more emphasis on panel descriptions. Hope you like what I've said anyway. Oh man, I feel for you. Getting money though? Sadly, I had the worst drawback ever. Turns out in my hurry to buy a cheap Batman: Black and White copy off Ebay I neglected that it was actually just an issue! So yeah, wasted a bit of money there. Luckily I'm going to Hobart tomorrow to watch my little brother breakdance (Me and him are such opposites) so I'll be able to visit Area 52 again! The store where I bought six comics last time! Yay! Hopefully there'll be something there anyway. Oh, and please don't think I'm trying to brag, cause I'm honestly not trying to keep the conversation geared towards me. My apologies If I'm being annoying. Anyway, I read the latest issues of Nightwing and Detective yesterday. Nightwing was pretty darn good bu Detective by Paul Dini was freaking amazing. I won't spoil it for you, but Hush is now an actually good villain (the shock!), we get to see the tumbler, animated Batmobile and 60's one too, Alfred kicks megablocks literally and the ending is the best tihng ever. Seriously, I think this might be my favourite issue ever. You read anything recently? Batbrick Away!

Great new comics KDog! I'm loving this storyline so far, I'm a sucker for future timeline reveal stuff, I really want to find out how Shwartz became President and how Valkyrie screwed it all up. I must admit I laughed at the goofy helmet on his head, as well as Shwartz still not being the brightest lightbulb around. Batbrick Away!

Look man, if you want to see Dark Bats, just go watch The Dark Knight or BTAS then. There are all different interpretations of Batman and to show only one is silly in my opinion. To me this looks like a good show so far, a call back to the classic silver age of comics. Plus its great for the kids who can't watch BTAS or other darker shows. And of course Batman can't accomplish some things without help, he's still just a man. So bring it on, looks like a great treatment of a different form of Bats. Batbrick Away!

Yes! You used the Tardis interior creation of yours! Man I laughed at the pizza bit, and the double take, this can't end well Batbrick Away!

Yeah, I don't know a whole lot about players but isn't there a kind that plays all regions? I could've sworn there was. Really? That's quite cool, I need to watch more Captain Scarlet, I only ever saw tiny bits before. Enough ot know it was awesome though. No, I didn't notice the bandage thing, why is it scary? Anyway, I watched two eps recently: End of the Road and Vault of Death. The former was quite good, I love all the machines in this one and the rain and lightning is quite good. I also like that the whole thing was done from the air. Funnily enough the disc labels it correctly but the box lists it as End of the World. Now I'm al for melodrama but that's a little over the top Vault of Death is one of my childhood favourites. Love the humour here, from Parker lying about all his safecracks to Penelope driving to anything involving Light Fingered Freddy, this is a classic in my eyes. Doesn't hurt that we get to see Parker's real personality when bagging out the kitchen lady. No it really isn't ? I can see it, but it makes no sense! Some of it works great, but other bits is just Grant Morrison confusing the convoluted with good storytelling. Not that it isn't a great story, but I think the writer likes it better than anyone else. As you say, the word association scene was very cool. i'd say read it again, if only for the art, which is for the most part fantastic. It really gives that claustrophobic feeling that this is a horrible place, makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm afraid to. Are you kidding? The entire point of a leaver's dinner is as an excuse to buy a good suit! No! All my friends are just doing the same too, though I think I'm the only one that decided on a pinstripe style, the others all went with tuxedo styling. Funnily enough I also joked to another group of friends in my tutor group that I was thinking of wearing a Two-Face styled split suit, and for some reason they all really wnated me to do it! Id Grant Morrison writing Final Crisis? If so, this gives me another outlet to hate him with. Have you read the most recent issue of RIP yet? Exactly, though I think making Spidey forget MJ is the worse one. Seriously, is that the best they could come up with!?!? How did Pa Kent die? I know he did, I just don't know how. Good point. Nice, I'll be sure to edit them sometime. I'm a little busy so it may take a while, probably not as long as before though. Oh, and it turns out I didn't shoot my mouth off! Though it comes as a bit more pricey now. Mum couldn't order Black and White from the bookshop as they told us it was unavailable . So we ordered it on Ebay instead, where I convinced her to let me order Death in the City, and I'll pay. Yay! Also, in town I found Nightwing: Year One for only 16.50 half price. Naturally I bought it and loved it. Chick Dixon rarely disappoints, and I love the art. You'd love it too, plenty of great Babs moments and a whole heap of good humour, especially from Supes. It really was a much needed change from Darkx10 Batman. So that puts my Christmas list at: Monster Men, Mad Monk, Black and White vol 1, Strange Apparitions, Gotham Central: Dead Robin, Face the Face and Detective. That's seven, I'm pretty darn happy with that, I'll have plenty to talk about come Christmas. Now all I have to do is wait Batbrick Away!

Great stuff Righteous Squid, I love your Batbike. It looks very sturdy and strong without going into Tumbler territory, which is great, because I think the Tumbler is overrated. Love your yellow car and Inferno battle too, that had me laughing, brilliant work on modifying that recycle truck. Your Ventriloquist is also very cool, I might try something similar if you don't mind. Batbrick Away!
-
And I can't stand boogers, but you don't hear me whining about it. Really? I'm surprised, I don't ever recall green on the plane. Wait, since the really early list we got proved correct on these two sets, do you think it will prove correct on the others? I can't remember, but it said possible sets for later in the year. Does anyone remember what they were? one of them was the Temple of Doom. Batbrick Away!

Yes! This is so cool, great that we get to see Ronald again, and he's funny as ever. Looks to be very interesting, though I admit I had no idea of the cameo until I saw the final panel. Yes, well done! Batbrick Away!
