  1. Thanks Hinckley, great review, I love that new brown! *wub* The wheel itself is fantastic, once the shooty thingy is removed I'll have hours of fun with this baby! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  2. Thanks hollisbrick, Asuka, VBBN. Thanks bud! :'-) You also seem to have caught onto a sneakpeek ;-) Don't you just love it how I never gave "Unstable Teammate" a name? :-D No, you have a pegleg for now. Runts are safe to eat, but the Queen Runts cause slight sickness and should be avoided. I had to quotes this thing because i was laughing out loud reading it! :-D Glad you love the dragon dragonator, even if you are protective of it. Man you had me laughing! :-D Don't worry, the dragons fine. And thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated. Thanks Piranha! Do'nt you love the cruel irony? Everyone wanted a tank but never got one! :-P Glad you thoughyt it was funny that Exo died. (pssst, I did too!) That you have, my friend, that you have......... Batbrick Away! >:-)
  3. Naturally! X-D Thanks, now that you say that..... No, but it was something similar. Thanks too. Thanks LuxorV, I really appreciate your comments, coming from a master mech builder. It is inspired by those old robots too. Thankyou for your comments about exploring, I'm trying to do different things :'-)
  4. He isn't in any of the movies. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  5. Good idea, I'd love to get black stubbies too. TNBA Penguin was one of the better parts of that show. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  6. I'll see what I can come up with when my APC is finished. Maybe a patrol boat. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  7. Yeah! :-D (High pitched) "Get 'em!" :-D Aww, no Penguin? But you have to, help me out here Brainbox would ya? I don't mean to offend, but I doubt you or me are goona get that chess set, unless you seriously keep every dollar you earn. I can imagine it being immensely overpriced, and not to mention shipping. Still, I say goodluck to you, I hope you succeed! *sweet* But still, back on topic, I hope the final versions contain SOME sort of surprise, I don't see how they couldn't given the relative lack of new figs. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  8. Which sets are you planning on? Is it the two cheaper ones? Anyway, while I don't think Joker looks like he got hit in the nuts (if you do want to see that ), I would like another face.Oh, and iamded, how many Punisher versions do are you gonna make? :-P Batbrick Away! >:-)
  9. Its actually quite ironic. If they had changed enemies each wave like the castle theme, and even changed main characters, and on top of that set it in different locations and terrain (not just bridges) then we could have had a great line that each year had diverse mechs for different atmospheres and places, with an everchanging storyline. It could've been great. But NO! Instead everything stayed the same, so by the time the best designs came in (08), we had gotten tired of it.... Batbrick Away! >:-)
  10. Great job, there are a few Batman set ads on youtube there if you wish to add them *sweet* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  11. I know :'-( ........ Thanks iamded, it is a bit retro I think. I think.....anyway, glad you like it, even despite its immense boxiness X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  12. Yes I agree. I don't know how much though, you're more the expert in that field :-$ Also, a limit on the number of <insert that tiresome argument> pieces maybe? Sounds rediculous, but those that weave more into the mocs effectively have a better chance. Unless that is welcome, it would encourage people to REALLY think outside the box. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  13. Happy Birthday to both of you! May you be able to take whatever 2008 throws at you! *sweet* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  14. Spaceships could work, that would be fun. But castles would be a bit limiting on certain sigfig I reckon. EDIT: Then again, a spaceship fits under "vehicle" anyway, so it could be either. EDIT AGAIN: I like the idea of a "seed" contest. Have we done one before? Building something round a <insert that tiresome argument> piece is tricky and fun. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  15. Its not my favourite brickbuilt ship, it was the most recent one in my memory. That said I do like it, though part of that goes to my bias for a metal based ship and the fact that was so large and such a great parts package. And that it was one of the only non-pirate and city ships. I too prefer the divers ships, but honestly, everyone loves that line anyway. The ship you listed there is a better example than mine, thats a very detailed one, I like it. Out of curiosity, you never actually said, do you prefer brickbuilt ships? Batbrick Away! >:-)
  16. Thankyou. You've certainly swayed my opinion a bit. I still hold that Cafe Corner is more appropriate, but certainly appreciate sets like Town Plan a bit more now. Out of curiosity, do you own any or both of them? Batbrick Away! >:-)
  17. Good point, and I can see where you're coming from. I would like to see more town oriented plan sets, but just not on the scale of Town Plan. The set you listed is a fantastic example, but its also still nice and small. A giant AFOL empty-your-wallets set I think is best reserved for something big, becuse while layout sets are brilliant, they can also be made a nice reasonable size for all buyers. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  18. (shudders) Anyway, I definitely prefer brickbuilt. I don't even test the floating hulls in water. Not that i don't mind floating hulls, but brickbuilt ones are just what lego is about, building. Thats why I like the recent firenation ship, its the most recent entirely brickbuilt ship I know of. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  19. Not saying that Town Plan isn't spectacular of course, if anything I'd rather see "Plan" sets in other themes instead of biggies. Castle could have a great village, space a moonbase with different sections, and Pirates a dock layout. But for city, this is one of the only themes where buildings are a large staple, so despite the beauty of Town Plan, I think a really big, detailed building is better for that theme. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  20. Yes, it could happen at any time. But it must be based on foolish decisions, not bad luck or coincidence. I let you off this time, because there has to be an incident to snap everyone into proper thinking, but it also needs to cost. MUHAHA! *skull* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  21. :-D , good choiecs Lt. Veers, or are they? Thanks MicVash, I'm glad you like it. Or not, seeing as you say, you have come to miserable loss. I'll answer your questions. You lost a lot of blood at the loss of your leg, but it wasn't exactly chewed off, more mauled, so you had to amputate it yourself later, as it was unuseable. You secaped by dragging yourself to the jeep and getting the heck outta there. Reginald can't make you a mechanical limb becuase he has no medical knoweldge of biotechnology. However, there is a character who does know about and is a cyborg, who is slated to appear later, based on your decisions. And in one of the older topics I believe I stated that the Deadzone lies not far from your base, so transport was not necassary, so only the ATV was taken and left at a safe distance. You then retrieved it after the failed mission. Goodluck MicVash, hopefully the choices made are the right ones, another slip up and Game's over *skull* I did admittingly use the tank as a draw to see what people would do, hopefully they learn from their mistakes! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  22. Okay, move over SirNadroj, theres a new person addicted to mocs in town X-D I built this fella this morning over two hours, and I really like him. He's half based off those old, boxy walking robot toys. Without further ado, my latest (hopefully best) mech, the Boxy Red Robot: This is also my first mech built with the bricks facing forward, like other mechs: He has a fair amount of posability, but i limited it so he would appear more 50's robot style with clunky movements: And the back is a cargo bay! Some cool shots: He's got iamded, yippee! MALFUNCTION! MALFUNCTION! Damn! My robot malfuntioned and is after me too! You think you're so cool iamded with your Redman, behold, GREYMAN! :-P Gallery when public: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=300143 Hope you liked that, comments and criticisms welcome! *sweet* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  23. I voted Cafe Corner because if you're gonna have a big city set, it has to have a big building. I love town plan but each part could be a separate set. Cafe Corner is in a league of its own.... Batbrick Away! >:-)
  24. We're imagining I think, the Troll Queen never existed. That witch does though, I can't wait to see her face, I hope it isn't like the Fright Knights witch. Oh, and the scene I referred to was when Arthur rolled out a heap of homemade scrabble pieces to try and spell out the ultimate question :-P So my castle list this year is less focues on multiples, I want to get all the set I want, THEN BTAS and comicbooks, THEN doubles. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  25. I don't, its too much like a miniature sigfig neighborhood contest, I say the sigfig vehicle contest is better *sweet* Batbrick Away! >:-)
