Thanks, I sure hate my printer though, everything cones out faded :-| Oh I agree, which is the hard part. Or at the very least a scene from an iconic story. I was thinking of doing A Death in the Family Robin death scene, but I also want to do a vig of a story I like, because, no offense if you like that arc, I didn't really. So I guess I'll wade it out till I find something. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks guys, heres the final part: The Instructions for the boat begin on page 46: The overall set, its actually much nicer than I thought it would be, the pictures on the box make it look ugly. Top view, Tommy Guns do not actually come with set ;-) Side view, the designers have done an excellent job with the hull, considering the lack of many slopes pieces. You can see it is pretty much minifig scale too: Here you can see that by pushing in the red technic axle, the "anchor" on the front will be hauled back into the boat: Back view, these outboard motors are pretty cool, though I wish they could go own into the water more: Overall, though the weakest model, its still a lot of fun, and has a clever way around the lack of a shapely hull. I was impressed with it after the building it, it even has two rounded SNOTTy bottom pieces on the nose of the boat to give the impression it is speeding through the water with the front lifting up. Lots of leftover pieces for this one: The pieces: Sorry about the poor photograph there, it was getting late :-$ Overall the Cargo Chopper is another great set in the fantastic Creator line. Loads of fun, great play, and some clever designs, it challenges you to make your own things, and even includes some nifty pieces (bley barrels! *wub* ) I won't give it a rating, but I'll just say I certainly recommend it to fans of the theme and Lego fans in general. Now, finally, iamded and I teamup in the face of a larger foe. Get that Lord of Pies! Batbrick Away! >:-)

Fair enough, thats understandable. Though truth be told I'm awful at customising. That will be interesting then, the hard part is finding a scene that can be effectively vig-ified as you put it. I wanted to do Two-Face's "My City" iconic line in TLH, but that took place in a car, and required a coin flick, so it really wasn't right :-/ Batbrick Away! >:-)

Plus its useful. I want doubles of all my characters because I'm paranoid about damaging one. Mr.Freeze himself has brilliant components for Mocing, and the set itself comes with great pieces and looks to be cheap. Thanks for that, I should really read more Superman, but given I have a habit of buying more than just read-and-return, I'll have to wait until I start making better money :-$ Damn, you probably will too, Tas always gets sets last. Not to mention I'm always behind on sets, due to aforementioned low budget. I'm on it, lets get this madman back to Arkham where he belongs. After a delightful Batfan bashing of course X-D I like the way you worded that. I still hope that she, as you say, is menacing, but she needs to still look not-evilly-happy enough to be able to be less menacing than the Joker and useful for "Puddin!" vignettes. I might do a Mad Love scene actually. Its funny going back throughthis topic and seeing the names Batbrick, Brainbox, Batbrick, Brainbox over and over again :-D Batbrick Away! >:-)

Andrex here with a Lego Batman Screenshot Blowout!
Batbrick replied to Andrex's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Its still embarrassing though :'-( I like Morrison more too, though like Miller his Joker leaves a lot to be desired I think... And I haven't read those, but are they the ones that feature the infamous "I'm the Goddamn Batman!" line? Anyway, I thought Miller went a bit weird with DKRA. I'd definitely like it too. I haven't played LSW much, at all, were pretty much all the characters unlockable? And those that were, was it just a skin, or did they have special character traits? I just realised Commissioner Gordon is mentioned in the article to, it will very interesting to see him, and would give me a little hope for a minifig product, even though a lot of LSW characters weren't made. Wow! 160? Really? That gives me a lot of hope then. Thanks for that information, I too hope to see alternate costumes and different gangsters and thugs. I think it was mentioned somewhere that Alfred was playable, and that his weapon would be pouring hot tea, I think :-D Indiana Jones as you say will be curious perhaps, more levels to compensate? Outback Airstrip 6444 Picture Review
Batbrick replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for this brilliant review of a fantastic set TheBrickster. I love those roof pieces, and that nice little building, as you say this set would be great integrating into various themes. Great little details like the tires on grass, and the weather vane. I love that radio too. The Twin Boom constructed plane (Yes, I know a lot about planes, well, old ones anyway) is great, and the construction is very nice. Thanks again, a great set. Batbrick Away! >:-) -
Ooh! I love your mini Batmobiles! I should really do a comic based vig, but I think I'm holding out to do a Long Halloween based one. I keep wanting to do Bane, but remember you cruelly did before me X-D I might do a killing Joke one, I don't know aboyt you but I love that story, maybe the actual Killing Joke told at the end, with Bats and Joker both laughing. I would do the iconic "Ha Ha" scene, but that would require a whole lot of bricks. Sounds great then, I really look forward to it (still!), do you plan on ever doing any custom figs or decals? LuxorV made me an animated series based Mad Hatter not long ago, and it really swung me over to decals, now I have a Riddler with suit, question mark cane and hard plasticine bowler hat. I on the other hand have been building like a madman as of recent (Just look at my signature :-D ), before my first term begins. 3 days till end of holidays, sigh. Still, I'm too scared to begin a full Batcave extension as-of-yet, since my younger brother is staying in my room for a year while we have a Korean student, there will be a long delay on the big mods sadly. But hey, that gives me more time to copy you right? X-D Just kidding of course, I hope to do my own stuff. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks for that, I don't know much about the artists, but I do of course know Jeph Loeb, fantastic writer, I can't wait to get The Long Halloween. However Jim Lee does ring a bell, I'll have to follow up on that. Tim Sale on them ones then, that must be the connection, I honestly haven't read anything Batman in a while, I'll have to catch up a bit, but I remember not thinking much of "When in Rome" though, even the twist. Anyway, thanks for that info, I'm embarrassing myself lately, I must be tired. Hmmm, you make a good point, but then again I plan on that agents set, so a quick analysis of the construction and a better Batpod is mine! Plus it also means I get to post it in a Bat Mocs'N'Mods treat. Well atleast it was funny, cheered me up a bit :-) Oh thats fine, I was just curious. We are turning him Brainbox, slowly but surely.... Really? Most people have complained that its chunky, not bony. And I don't think Joker is selling ice cream so much as: a) Driving a stolen van b) selling Joker toxin Ice cream (it kills ;-) ) c) something else wacky but deadly I was thinking a bit of Mario cart actually, I might make a humorous vig of it. I agree though, some great parts in that set, like those wheels I don't have or anything on Mr.Freeze. Now you're talking! Thats funny, I could easily make that truck out of existing parts, with a few different colours of course. The Tumbler on the other hand, a few mods and *wub* ! You're right, it is a bit like that, not that this is a bad thing, that hummer was great. Oversized of course, but here it suits, the driver being the Joker's henchwench. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks for this interview guys, its nice to know a bit more about Phred, all I really knew about him before was that he loved Pirates, making better helicopters than me, and probably Veggie Tales. Thanks, and I wish you goodluck with your ship Phred! *sweet* Batbrick Away! >:-)

Store it away and never use it. I still have 1 of two (I burnt the other one but regretted that) megablock Garbage Trucks, that was actually an MIB style alian thing. It was really well constructed, and, being from a few years ago, actually had pretty good quality bricks. I don't want it much, but its a memory, so I storre it under my bed *sweet* Also, I am a bit skeptical of all the people claiming they burn them. Seriously? Toxic fumes galore, awful smell, not to mention the bin is just easier. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks for your comments guys! Here is the Weapon variant, which I am EXTREMELY happy with: Its extremely stable: Comments appreciated, enjoy! Batbrick Away! >:-)

Never mind! I changed my mind! The head is great! :'-) I still love that boxy look too! Boxy mechs ON! Batbrick Away! >:-)

Nice vignette Lt.Veers, I like the simplicity and action in it. The cell is simple but a great touch, and i like the battle scene! Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks everyone, heres part 2: The second instruction booklet includes instructions for both alternate models, which is good, I hate having too many manuals: Here she is, the plane: Its very nice and well proportioned, but where did iamded get that laser? Overview, the landing gear is very sturdy and nice, and the wings are surprisingly good: Top view, iamded's head fell into the propellers, I was trying to save him, honest! A view of how the motor on this one works, by pushing the orange button you can make the prop spin. It is well integrated like the chopper, though the prop only spins for about 2 1/2 seconds. Still, its a nice feature: The tail is also well made, simple, but lovable. Oh, and check out that tank! The prop spinning, Agh! Is that MY hand? Final view, there seems to be some sort of explosion here 8-| Well I think I got iamded more than me atleast. The second model is also great, though not as good as the chopper. The lack of space to fit something into the cockpit brings it down a bit, but it is a very nice model overall. I recommend it, though unlike the chopper it will be hard to mod into minifig scale. So far so good with 4995, here are the leftover pieces from the model: Enjoy! Batbrick Away! >:-)

Andrex here with a Lego Batman Screenshot Blowout!
Batbrick replied to Andrex's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Woops! :-$ I always get them two mixed up. I'm not a big fan of either really, and some of their character twists go in the same directions. Also, it was late last night, give me a break :'-( Nice, I only played LSW a bit, so I never really knew how many characters were featured. Man-Bat isn't even second-tier, more like third-rate or C-list. Batbrick Away! >:-) -
Hello and welcome to another, oh wait, first Batbrick and iamded review! Today us two sworn enemies will be reviewing the Creator Cargo Chopper, here is the front of the box: And while pushing iamded to his doom, here is the back: Haha! Ouch! Oh dear...here are the parts anyway... Here is the instruction of the first model, the Cargo Chopper. I love Creator sets for the different models, they always excite me. Just ignore me finishing off my nemesis in the background. Something very interesting that I liked in the instructions was this step where you must add those three 2x2 yellow rounded pieces under the chopper. This is for support while you build, which is handy, and later you take it off: And even later use it as the cargo. I found that to be rather innovative and clever, as well as - Hey! What are you hitting me for? Both instruction booklets have the same back: Now heres the Chopper itself. I love the design of it, it isn't quite minifig scale but its great all the same. This is my first non-Xpod or House creator set, and it sure is fun. Here me and iamded go for a dizzy ride. I love the nose of the copter, and the landing gear is fantastic. A shot from the other side. Oh dear, it seems we've been a bit sick from that ride, and were vomiting transgreen 1x1s. The cargo itself is nicely made, though I forgot to put on two tiles here :-$ . It fits in real well with the chopper to, and the line is great for giving iamded the wedgie he deserves: This is my first power function set, so I was pretty excited. The motor is intergrated really well into this set, and is activated by pushing that little 3x2 plate with the 1x1 slopes on it forward, until it hits the motor button, that orange knob. Another point of interest is the use of bley barrels on each side. I like this as I don't have those pieces in that colour. A shot of the motor. Its really simple, all you do is pull the hook out to any length that allows, then press the orange button and it will wind it back up. This makes the Chopper pull the cargo up into its bay, and iamded pull me here reluctantly to a whacking: A top view, is that MY head? A view of the chopper without the cargo in it. I love the lowered cockpit: The leftover pieces from building: (NOTE: iamded's head does not count as set piece) And a final shot of the set with me and iamded. Oh, it appear we're dead, oh dear... Hope you enjoyed this review, soon I will post the two alternate models. I loved this chopper, its great to play with and has nice construction. It also has some handy pieces too. The motor function sounds like a gimmick but is well intergrated into this model. Well worth the price, so far this is another win for Creator I say! So far I recommend this model, but later we'll see if the alt models are up to scratch. Also, since this is my first review, comments and criticism welcome on everything. Batbrick Away! >:-)

My custom Batman minifigures.... )
Batbrick replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Ah yes, but this also gives a sign of weakness by allowing yourself to be on the edge of error and truth, so despite the fact that you may not have been wrong per se, you neither were right, thus setting yourself up to be bested by a superior argument ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-) -
He did Hush am I right? Of course you do, but you know what will happen don't you? We'll only get one. Still, both would be good.... Yeah, you can be pretty creepy sometimes X-D I hope that the angle of the Batcycle on the box pic is what makes it look odd. I hope it turns out like that Agents motorcycle, but in Batpod form. I can't wait to get Robin's sub either. And of course that Buggy that for all its sheer un-Batman-ness as you say, will be parked in my Batcave. Funny how you mention me as a third person despite the fact you were replying to my comments *wacko* Atleast we've got plenty of suits to get anyway, leaving space for future waves. I think I'll prefer a black one for now, not because I'll like it more, but because it will tie into the movie better, we might not get another one if not this year. I do love that pic in the instructions too. You'd better hope not. This may be bad news for me then. If the fig boxart is wrong then there might be no dark grey suit. Still, it also gives me hope that the final figs change and give them extras. I though that for a time as well. I too doubt they would change it though, unless they really wanted to make a cowl like in TDK. I think the final new suit will be a BB/TDK one. I'm hoping atleast something in the figs is different, but as you say, it may well just be the stamp :-( I think its part of the car, it has an identical black piece next to it. Batbrick Away! >:-)
