  1. Thats fine, I see you're point, I apoligise if I sounded rude before. I think someone confirmed these came from the Lego site though didn't they? Either way, I want a troll/dwarf one too. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  2. Good observation, maybe its an acid flower? Good choice X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  3. Are you serious? Some people are never satisifed... Atleast these packs are faction specific, so you can build up which one you want. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  4. Do you think there is a connection, maybe the Agents team made this wave as well? You may be right too, though its not much given how small it is. I just can't wait for a Harley and the Tumbler. Hopefully, if these sets come to Tas (I don't want it to be like wave 2 and order them) I can get a couple of the Mr.Freeze one if its priced right, his head and pieces are extremely useful. So I got this: Batbuggy: *y* Lame of course, but the buggy is adorable, and it looks to be a really cheap way of getting great MFs and parts. Robin Scuba Jet: *y* Great robin vehicle, good Penguin Sub. Plus a way to get cheap MFs and penguins. Batcycle: *y* *y* Great set, loving that truck, I'll mod it into a monster. And of course Harley.... Tumblerr: *y* *y* I'll stick by my love of it, it even includes that weapon mode. Plus that icecream truck is great. Overall: Great wave, underminded by lack of new characters. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  5. I agree, the sets are great, even the hilarity of the go-kart one! :-D Its the figs that are the problem, it could easily have been fixed by putting Harley with her "Mr.J" in the tumbler set and shoving another villain or character in the Batcycle set. Still, I'll be positive, wave 2 only offered us one new character and batsuit, but that was still a great wave. Oh, and tough on not getting the batcave, thats a good set :'-( Batbrick Away! >:-)
  6. Thanks hewman, appreciated :'-) (Looks up) You were saying? :-P Batbrick Away! >:-)
  7. Happy Birthday! And please try to remember "it the thought that counts" with Exobuilder's hotlinking present! X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  8. Them all? Nice. What other batsets do you have? It was the batcopter, batboat, batdragster and batmbile was it? Anyway, is there a possibility we are missing an exclusive set or something? The set numbers are troubling me: 7884 Batbuggy 7885 Robin Scuba Jet 7886 Batcycle 7887 ??????? 7888 Tumbler I really hope something else turns up, as much as I love Batman and this line, I want some more new. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  9. :-D , no can opener indeed. And this comment here is the icing on the cake :-D Great work Dr.S, Nice little set up too. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  10. What? You can't picture it? Here we go then: Batman stares into the cold eyes of Mr.Freeze, unwavering. Victor Fries stares back with cold ambition, calm and collected. The escapee made an icy exit, leaving many frozen corpses in Arkham, and now the Dark Knight has only one mission: Bring him back. The two continue their long stare, the distance between them short, but still long enough to make a difference. Mr.Freeze make the first move, as he slams his vehicle into first gear! Batman follows suit, acting fast and without flaw. Thus begins the most epic go-kart chase in Gotham history! :-P Batbrick Away! >:-)
  11. Don't you mean the 4th line? This already wave 3 X-D That said, I agree with you, we need a few locations and new characters. I actually still love the Tumbler though, I guess when you say Batman shouldn't drive a tank-like thing you are referring to his Batmobile, unless you didn't like last years Battank? Does anyone find it hilarious that Harley gets two hammers in the set, a giant car mounted one and her trademark one, which is still comically oversized? Also, It would appear the Batcycle, while hard to see from the annoying view, looks to have a similar design to the Agents motorcycle, which pleases me, as that is a great design so I look forward to seeing it better. I am also very interested in seeing what Mr.Freeze's backpack is like, it looks to be very different. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  12. I agree, but I'm sure there'll be a new torso. The Batbuggy looks like it might have a dark grey one, and the other hints say that we might get a BB one. I want a BB one, all black would look great, but I think I would actually like the dark grey better, it would be the ultimate classic batman. Still, I want Gordon, it was silly of TLC not to inlcude him as a hostage or something in one of these sets. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  13. See, Wise *yoda* has got it right, these sets are good. Its just the lack of minifigs that angers people. We have Harley, and I'm sure we'll get atleast one new torso for Bats. But if wave 4 doesn't come and doesn't have Gordon I'll give them hell! *skull* But atleast this pretty much get all villain re releases out of the way, the only other fig wanting another set is Poison Ivy, so a hopeful Wave 4 would see better figs... Batbrick Away! >:-)
  14. Depends on how much you like the set. I know you are a Harry Potter fan and this set does contain a lot of elements useful for Harry Potter mocs, and the set itself is wonderful. The figs are great even if you don't like Batman, so really, it depends on whether you're willing to spend money on it. I'd say get it, its a fantastic set, just decide whether you want to spend that much money ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  15. The Witch appears in the new Chess set as the queen to the Sorcerer, so I highly doubt she will introduce a new faction. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  16. We'll, first, thanks Sam89 for finding these pics. Secondly, it preliminary still people, no doubt we'll get a new batsuit, since the boxart clearly shows the cartoon batman in a BB suit. Now onto the sets: Batbuggy: Much smaller than I though, I actually really like the Batbuggy :-$ Like a small quad, it'll definitely join the vehicles in the batcave. I may get two, this set looks to be cheap. The Mr.Freeze vehicle is disappointing, but atleast has nice pieces on it. And do I spy a dark grey batsuit on this box? Overall this one is a win for me, better than the dragster set from 06. Robin Sub: I've come to like this one. Its great to have another Robinj vehicle and I just love the one he gets. We also get two more mini penguins. Penguin's sub I like, even if it is another sub it does look nice, plus I'll be happy to get another Robin and Penguin, great figs. Batcycle: WOW! Loving this set. The Batcycle looks good, and I'm sure will look better in person or better pics. Seems they are doing the Batpod, which I like. Harley's truck I love though, its crazy, wild and plain her. Her comically large hammer is great too, but the real prize is the fig. She looks fantastic, I can't wait to add her to the collection. Overall this set is a great one to me. Tumbler: I'll state once again I love this tumbler. All the Tumblers on brickshelf look great yes, but don't actually have the proper scale, windows, or weapon mode (you know the little window at the front) like this one does. I'll certainly get this, the Ice Cream truck is fantastic, and after a few mods so will be the Tumbler. Overall, I like Batman 08, but like everyone else is a little disappointed. Wave 1 and tiny Wave 2 were both superb in design and figs, I think this is just a small letdown, hopefully a wave 4 is granted and it picks back up again. I think it is just a small dip in what will hopefully continue as a great series. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  17. Hmm, remind me to get that set, so I can kill three baby birds with one very large stone by; A) Getting your torso B) Those treads and other neat pieces C) My first two human characters Anyhoo, great updation LuxorV, I love the new design, especially for the exhaust and shovel *y* The cockpit (?) looks much better and more realistic now, and the little greebs look cool too. My one criticism is that I think the cockpit (?) needs a bit of yellow at the front to make it mesh better. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  18. Oh yes of course, that TOTALLY the reason X-D TOTALLY 8-| That said I do still love it, it was either make it top heavy and keep iamded's fighter or proporion it right and chuck my friend away, looking back, I think I made the wrong choice. I hope to improve more on my mechs, I might make another one soon. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  19. I love that you are revisiting an old storyline, I hope to see you do that with a few. This one is fantastic, its humour made greater by the previous part, its definitely one of the best, though they are all so good, it really can't make much difference! :-D A nice delivery of the punchline too, some of the other ones are funny in their predictability and I-can-see-this-coming-but-I-can't-stop-laughing-anyway-ness, but its great to have one that just shocks you. Great work as always Dr.S. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  20. It'd be confusing as heck you can be sure about that, but a lot funner than average chess, which is still a fun game. Sadly, I've decided that as good as this is, I won't buy it. Reasons are: 1. I no doubt will not be able to afford it. The current chess set is expensive enough. 2. I want other things, Lego or not. I have seasons 1 and 2 of Batman: The Animated Series to purchase, as well as a few graphic novels I'm craving, not to mention the fantastic other Lego sets coming. 3. Ultimately, as great as it is, its an army builder, and I'll do that with the other sets and save myself the money. I'm still sad though, its a truly magnificent surprise. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  21. And really, a tank with camouflage won't have a symmetrical paintjob anyway, so the loose colouring actually helps the realism, I can imagine this thing hiding among the snow and rocks, waiting to ambush. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  22. Mech Expert? *wacko* Clearly you missed my last one: :'-( It looks like its gonna fall over any second! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  23. Great entry LuxorV! I love the gorilla robot, and the landscaping is fantastic! But can it stand up to the power of my Rolling Death Door, Crossdressing Lightning Babe or Popcorn Butt Explosion Samantha? :-P Batbrick Away! >:-)
  24. A very nice "entry" Mr. Mandalorian, I love the originality of it. The tree coming out of the house is very unique and you have achieved it well, I also love that adorable little hut below. The Harpy Eagle is great too, as is the ruins of the house. My one gripe is the back section, I wish the house looked a little more complete to look a little more ruin, if you understand what I mean. That said, great non-entry, I'm sad that you couldn't meet the deadline :'-( Batbrick Away! >:-)
