  1. I knew you'd go nuts when you saw this! :-D Two chains you say, now I'm in heaven...did I mention I love chains? The construction on the seige tower is brilliant too, pull back the rope and the platform falls down and the ram slam forward! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  2. Thats quite alright, but really I am the one thanking you, I very much enjoy your mocs, and the wonderful stories behind them. I remember commenting on your mine, but actually didn't recall you putting a wall behind the door. On the upside of my house it makes it appear as if there is more behind it, on the downside, it can't open. But then again, it is abandoned, or is it? *skull* Thankyou, I agree too, the grotto was the main construction. I tried to get certain slopes to overlap, which I believe I achieved to some extent. Funnily enough I accidentally dropped it on the floor after I had finished, and had to start again. I also like the blurred pictures of the skeletons, particularly the opening one. Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it, I was hoping that the smaller I said in the story, the better. Now that you say that I might. I like continuing on with things, and I would like to do a series of vigs, perhaps each vignette exploring a separate part of the house? I think that would work, with each room giving hints and clues to the house's past. I would like to explore Billy Samwood further, without of course removing his mystery. Afterall, even if he did supposedly kill himself after four murders as LuxorV speculated, why are there six bodies in the cavern? *skull* And you inspiring Axe Murder MOCs? Never! X-D Thanks for your comments though TheBrickster, I greatly appreciate them, and thanks again for letting me use your own creations as a great source of inspiration. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  3. Actually thats a great idea, I may just get the little one for that :-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  4. Thanks for these instructions svelte_corps, I love these sets. Those trolls are excellent, I can't wait to get them. And that tower set is wonderful. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  5. Very neat Zero1312, I like your design. However if I was you I'd post a better overall pic for the last one, as two are devoted to a backshot and I can't see it in all its glory ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  6. Wow! I'm on a bit of a Mocing spree lately, I can't believe I never used to build things, I enjoy it so much! Today I ripped apart the great little Battle Arachnoid, to try and make a cool alternate model out of nearly all the pieces. Here it is, the Battle Beetle: (What, you were expecting a better name?) Enjoy my better photography and crisp clean photos: Front view: Side view, you can see how the "claws" are attached here: Rear view, the pilot is better armoured than most Exo sets, and has an rear facing weapon: Sweeping cinematic shot of the cold menace, you can also see that this has a far more evil face eater than the actual set, with two containers for the skulls *skull* : Here you can see that the robot has different arms for working the cockpit, and is very well protected from the side: Top view, showing the two forward guns. For some reason the grill on the window is loose: Better shot of the weaponry, those saws will cut you up something awful. The face eater I like, and the guns look like eyes, giving it a monster look at the front. Last shot: Brickshelf gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=299598 I'm really happy with it, no other pieces but the ones in this set were inlcuded, and only about three pieces I didn't use. Tell me what you think though! *sweet* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  7. A very clever creation SirNadroj, pity the gears didn't fit. I wish to see this movie with my brother when it hits cinemas here (if it hasn't already), but I do know of the play, and of course the chair conraption, and you've done a very neat job with this. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  8. I've heard REALLY good things about that. Anyway, I watched The Truman Show, one of my personal favourites, a very smart, funny and meaningful movie starring Jim Carrey as a man who doesn't realise his whole life is a tv show. And I also watched the entire sixth season of Scrubs, I love that show *wub* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  9. Uh yeah, thats the one :-$ I think we are seeing a general pattern appearing here, so I'll join the chorus when I say: Just. Stop. Posting. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  10. You know, its actually pretty simple to stay out of the chamber. All you had to do was: a) stop spamming b) stop the "I'm the king of page4 11!1" game c) put some full stops in your run-on sentences. So I wouldn't so much say you were treated "like poop" by Yoda so much as you were begging for a chambering, I mean, just look at your sig. :-/ Batbrick Away! >:-) EDIT: Thats hilarious Yoda! Don't flush the kitty!
  11. No offense but its kind of a monster film, what did you expect? Atleast it did something fresh for the tired genre with the first person perspective, it didn't give us the cliche generals moving toy battelships round on a strategist map. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  12. Thanks Dr.S for this great review, this is your what, second one? Anyway, this aint half bad, I actually kind of like the bigger planes despite the annoying big pieces, and this one looks to be the best yet. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  13. I doubt they are glued, how on earth could a skellie be glued together without removing all mobility? :-P Plus, the only reasons for gluing them would be if they contained magnets, which again i doubt, where on earth could a magnet go on a skellie? As for the crownies, I doubt they would do something different to the skellie pack. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  14. Did you just make this? Because this looks great for something thats this recent! I love that for once the skellies are outnumbered, the crownies charging through look great. Nice wall too, I like the use of those sloped pieces. And a cool wacky thingy the front soldier has too *y* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  15. I find it funny that you say this, seeing as most fantasy fans love the Crownie faction. That aside, I agree with you, I love that I can make my skellie army to a certian size, and the same with the crownies. Hopefully a dwarf and troll one is introduced, that would be heaven... Batbrick Away! >:-)
  16. While I think it does belong in the Theater forum, I think that certain Indy mocs could be posted here in the history section. Ones like TheBrickster's german base, or perhaps a recreation of the Flying Wing, I think certain topics could be posted in either forum. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  17. Awwww I like the hanging prison :'-( :-P But atleast the catapult is much, much smaller and doesn't look as bad, it'll be easier to modify. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  18. Thanks SimonWillems and Yoda, this pic is great. It looks exciting and gives us a clearer and different shot of the great sets. I hope I can get that lighthouse set, I must. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  19. Thanks for that pic Lord Of Pies, I love that ship more than ever now! And it DOES come with two boats, fantastic! The ship has so many details, totally unlike the empty Viking one. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  20. Its not about an army Yoda, its about CIVILIANS! :'-) I can't wait for these BPS, could 2008 get any more expensive right now? Batbrick Away! >:-)
  21. Thanks for the extra pics Stauder. I love the MG mounted, it looks fantastic, great use of those links as the ammunition too. Its great to see the inner workings of the tank too, the turret in particular is great. I understand how the side armour is fitted on now too, very clever. Thanks for the pics Stauder, and you're help, APC here I come! >:-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  22. This is great! Thanks for finding! Even if these are on S@h I'm happy, I'll just order them with the Battlewheel or calender. TLC's finally going back to the golden days of battlepacks! iamded will croak when he sees this! :-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  23. You make a good point, I can accept that, though my rant was more about the heavy use of vehicles in themes as a whole thanks for that insight. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  24. Ah, yes. Here we go: And so, with the renewing of the memory of our beloved Block Block, at the hand of our dear friend LuxorV, we are called to remember the moments we had with it. The laughter, the tears, the good times, and even the bad times, are not lost to us through the passing of good Block Block, but instead are lifted, renewed, and called up to us throughout our daily lives. These tears, this laughter, is never lost my friends, never. It stays with us, just like these memories, and it is our duty to pass these gifts onto our children and loved ones. Though Block Block is said to have left with us, perhaps he is more with us in his passing than he ever was in life, his legend living on through generations, sparking inspiration and joy. And so I do not spite good LuxorV, but instead embrace him, for he has reminded us all not that Block Block is dead, but that instead, and gloriously so, he lived! Batbrick Away! >:-)
