  1. Thats nice, I didn't know that. I thought it was over and we didn't get to see the other new sets. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  2. I can do better, I can point out a new piece that isn't there! :-P This one: Batbrick Away! >:-)
  3. Ooh update! Awesome car Stauder, very cleverly built. I had never thought of using that piece as a sloping roof, thats ingenious, I'll have to steal it! X-D It looks great, especially with shadows still drink on the back :-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  4. Got it ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  5. This may sound very stupid and ignorant of me, so please simply ignore back if i come across as brash, but I think the contests would be well scheduled in a Major/minor pattern. As in, the Robochopper contest is a small, and not very long one, that a lot, but not heaps of people will enter. The house competition was a long running huge contest that almost everyone entered. They're all fun, I think maybe if you had a major contest and two or three smaller contests running at once, it would be easier. Or maybe two major contests and two smaller contests. You get the picture though. This is just a suggestion, my apologies if that came across as me trying to give orders from below, I just think maybe that way you could have a lot of great contests, but still make it easy to enter them :-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  6. Actually thanks lego.ryan, you've reminded me of two more: Best: Pirates of the Caribbean: the curse of the black pearl Worst: Pirates of the Caribbean: at world's end, it totally undid everything the first movie did, while offering no more originality or humour that was so evident in part 1. 7. Great shots there Dr.S, the first of course is the best, you've edited that well (unless it was just a picture behind it 8-| ), still it looks excellent. I love the drum design on the horse, very clever, and though you've modded the drumsticks, I still like them very much, good work. The trumpeter is a nice touch too. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  8. :-D , I chuckled out loud reading this, I love "Studio" humour :-D I have no idea what imperialshadows was thinking with that wig, but I like your outfit on this vig. I love the guard too, that technique for the hat is one I also like, great choice of torso too. The gate itself is pretty simple but it was smart of you to make just the side gate, that way details like the megaphone, half the red carpet and wall barrier fit in well. I love the positioning of imperialshadows too, simply perfect, he's so drunk! :-D Great to see some stuff from you again Stauder, I always enjoy that. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  9. Woops! Sorry Stauder, I was going to PM you, but I forgot! :'-( Forgive me! Still, I haven;t made my actual full size APC yet, this is just the mini version, you get first look at that ;-) Glad you like the truck, the APC I love, but I knew it would be a bit of a hit and miss with the crowd due to its strange design. The wings are attached using those 1x2 90 degree swivel clip pieces, the same ones used to open the back of the APC. Thanks again! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  10. Really good, I love it. The detailing is amazing, and the dress in particular looks great. My criticisms lie, like Stauder, in the fact that it is unshiny as opposed to that actual parts, and that there is nothing particularly "elfish" about it enough to distinguish her as another species. Apart from that ts brilliant, but it kinda just looks like a Princess, not an Elf Princess :-/ Batbrick Away! >:-)
  11. Best movie? A tossup between The Shawshank Redemption, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (not really, but it is funny :-D ) and Serenity. Oh, and Raiders of the Lost Ark, Original Starwars trilogy, Goldfinger, Dr. No, Casino Royale, Flying High, Schindler's List and a heap of others. Worst movie ever? A tossup between Date movie, Epic Movie, any Scary movie, Alien vs Predator and a lot of tv movies. And The Benchwarmers, I hate that one. hate. lots of hate. the hate never ends. hate. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  12. Wow, you're cranking them out today! This ones great, I don't like the MM alien ships much either, but your Alien Saucer looks great, nice and compact. Has it got anything interesting on the underside? The Robot doomwheeler is hilariously evil, I like it far, far better than the Mobile Devastator, especially the way you've done the top cockpit and those awesomely huge wheels! 8-
  13. I agree, the great things about the sets you showed is that most of them had enough vehicles to satisfy kids, but still had buildings and set pieces which we all want, thanks for that. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  14. It is a giant hammer, we were stirring you for calling Ms. Quinn a guy :-D I also agree with wise Yoda, we need Crocodile Croc vehicle X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  15. Wow! Thats amazing, you've combined the two seamlessly :'-) It fits in great, ingenious. Whats it look like from the back? Anyway, I actually like the bone cage smacking against the wall for some reason, makes it look more sinister to me *skull* Batbrick Away! >:-)
  16. Great spotting The Penguin! I very much hope that this is in the set, though it is a bit unlikely, as that be another great reason to get it 8-
  17. New pics for all, I present Harley Quinn! More pics here: http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2008/02/15/...batman-villain/ Batbrick Away! >:-)
  18. Ah yes I see, I'm glad to see that too. Superman: Doomsday shocked me quite a bit in a few places, it was pretty risky as you say, especially with a certain Toyman ;-) I hope to see some great dark scenes in this. It why he's by far my favourite hero, his code of honour still exists, but he'll sure bloody someone up bfore he's finished with them, if he's angry enough. In many interpretations Batman IS psychotic, and some comic books and novels go out of their way of showing this, The Killing Joke was a good example, it showed that the Joker and Batman both became who they were as a result of "one bad day", but Bats just managed to cling onto the edge of insanity, without falling all the way into it. Oh, and the fact he doesn't wear tights is good. And the brooding, who else can look so dark and badass just standing on the edge of a building? On a note regarding the actual anime, the fight scenes between Deadshot and Bats looks amazing! 8-
  19. I like it LuxorV, it looks good, but sorry, just not that convincing. I normally worship your stuff, but I think, like imperial shadows stated, you need to either bulk it up, and make it a heavy assault vehicle, or lighten it up and make it less square with a roll cage. Better yet, do both versions, that would be sweet. Thats not saying this is bad mind you, it looks pretty good, I love the SNOT and forward suspension (?), but I'd like to see it improved. Sorry, you've set the bar too high for yourself X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  20. I thought 2008 was the best year, its the only year I've been tempted to buy a few of the sets. Best of 2006 was easily the Supernova, the best 0f 2007 the Golden Guardian, and the best of 2008 was that fantastic Battle Arachnoid. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  21. *wub* She looks wonderful! I too hope she has a doubls sided face, that would be nice. More pics here: http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2008/02/15/...batman-villain/ Batbrick Away! >:-)
  22. Heres a few pics, the rest is in my gallery: Entire Brickshelf Gallery here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=290561 Batbrick Away! >:-)
  23. Actually its a completely different style to Superman: Doomsday, but by Bruce Timm still, so it should be good, I really enjoyed that film. I'll definitely purchase this if it turns out as good as his other work, the look of Gotham is beautiful and Deadshot looks fantastic. Thats why I love Batman so much, he fits into so many different mediums. Batbrick Away! >:-)
