Great job Hinckley, it looks exactly like him, good to see that someone who has collected lego for who-knows-how-long will still hover these pages in excitement, waiting for a reply :-D I can't wait to win this guy see your next one! X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks, I don't know who pilots it yet, you? X-D Thanks, now I just need to figure out what KUTGW means... Thanks as always iamded, glad youl ike it. thanks GeneralTarful, its kind of biomechanical, so its weapons are more the mandibles and tentacles. The windshield is from Aquaraiders set Shar Attack, it is a very useful piece. :-D , i was hoping you wouldn't take offense to that, it was merely my silly payback ;-) Thankyou for your honesty, the hip joints are a tad exposed, but the pelvic design which sloped down them middle meant that was as much as I could cover unfortunately. It is a tad blocky at the front, though in all honesty I never intended for a totally smooth shape, but I unfortunately ran out of inverted slopes to use because Interactive Apocalypse had taken them all |-/ Thanks again, though I do love Boxy :-P Batbrick Away! >:-)

Here I am with my latest mech in my recent mech frenzy. Once again I am trying to do something different and avoiding the smooth, humanoid mech stereotype (NOTE: This is not an offense to the makers of these beautiful creations, I just want to do something fresh :-). This time due to recent criticisms saying that I couldn't do smooth mechs following my deliberately boxy mech (see sig), I set out to make a wacky new creation. I call it, The Deep Sea Walker: Built to look like a sea creaure, I made the decision early on to give it a large amphibian head with no arms: The green and black colour scheme is quite effective I think: It WILL destroy the Golden Thumbs LuxorV, in a climactic underwater showdown! >:-) Really, one day I will make a humaoid mech, but right now I'm exploring all the different design types and trying to break new ground, or atleast make something original: I'm especially proud of the leg design, which covers the joints up fairly well, while remaining smooth and posable: Despite the large "fish head", it is very stable, which I credit to my hip design, which connects to the head via a single technic piece, allowing it to swivel without exposing the inner design: I'm very happy with how the seaweed on the head came out: As in this shot you can see the head swivel, it can rotate 360 degrees: My favourite shot ever, I just love this shot. Love it: It sees you! Note the stance of the legs here, very stable: Looking down, I'd certainly be intimidated: Taking on my EN mech (see sig ;-) ): Final shot, Overall I'm extremely happy with it: Gallery here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=301093 Hope you enjoyed, comments and criticism welcome! Firefly would also get us the Mr.Freeze/Space Jetpack piece in bley *wub* Plus a new helmet mold possibly. What? No Maxie Zeus? Next you'll be bad mouthing King Tut and Egghead! X-D I agree, the theme needs to balnce out more, give us buildings AND vehicles. We need Gotham Police Station, Badguy Hideout, Wayne Manor and maybe even a Batcave Extension.... Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks Asuka, those legs were too short before *sweet* Thankyou Dr.S, my sincere apologies for that accident. Rest assured the perpetrator is now in a permanent catatonic state, please enjoy the suite, we even imported that wine you like, not the french one, don't worry. Batbrick Away! >:-)

I'd love a P-51 Lightning, they were my favourite plane, I loved the Twin Boom design *wub* I couldn't care less about the Messerschmidt's though, give me a Focke Wulf Fw 190 *wub* That said, I would rather see the Space line you mentioned, with not much focus on "Conflict", more of a Space race between two rival factions. "Echo 3 to Echo Batman, are you there?" :-D That said, thinking of Hoth made me think of Mr.Freeze, and thinking of Mr.Freeze made me think of what a cool base would look like with him, and thinking of his cool base made me think that TLC really owes us another one after the Riddler Gate fiasco, and thinking of that made me think that a base would be another great way to introduce new figs, like a base with Mad Hatter, Black Mask, Clayface and Firefly. That would be neat. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Yes I noticed the lighting was nice, it also gives the picture this cool hue. It is stupid, but sometimes stupid is a good break, especially if you don't see it coming. Batbrick Away! >:-)

I certainly didn't see that one coming :-D , excellent work here Dr.S, this is a very silly, very unique one, and I love it. "Sorry, I always get those two mixed up" :-D Nice use of bolding letters for shouting too. I look forward to more, you are definitely getting a good track record now, the recent ones have all been very different and hilarious, this one made chuckle in my seat. Batbrick Away! >:-)

I agree with Manbat and Black Mask, and hope maybe for Lady Shiva, but I think The Great White Shark is a little obscure. Still, theres always Firefly, Mad Hatter, Ra's Al Ghul, Talia Al Ghul, Clayface, Black Mask and lots more :'-) Oh I agree, that Moc is fabulous Yoda, something like that would be very, very welcome to the collection. I loved that they made a Hovercraft type incarnation, but the classic sleek Batboat would be superb. That would be nice. I would also love to see more batsuits, heres my list: Armoured batsuit, dark grey batsuit, Batman Begins/The Dark Knight suit, futuristic/techno suit and even a winter themed suit for Mr.Freeze. :-D , yes a special mention to Andrex as well! Thankyou so much for all those great screenshots and info, may your day be filled with yellow wallpaper and a pink bouquet of flowers! *wub* Batbrick Away! >:-) -

:-D , That was funny, poor crappy-ship-that-was-admittingly-cool-if-a-little-thin X-D Anyway, I think the two best suggestions so far are the Seed Contest, that would be great, and the Neighborhood Sigfig Car Contest. We had brilliant fun with the House one, I think a vehicle to go in the garage would be great. Plus these two competitions are open for everyone and not limited to a certain theme of liking. I was thinking, now that we've seen the new Batman sets, and I'm sure a lot of you were disappointed with only one new fig, what do you want to see next from the Batman theme? List anything, go nuts. More Batmobiles? More figs? Discontinuation? More buildings? What? List ideas for new sets if you wish, or just what characters you'd like to see. Personally, the thing I want most is Gordon right now, along with a new trenchcoat mold for him. He's probably the single most important character we have yet to get. After that I want Ra's Al Ghul and Talia, then other villains and heroes like Mad Hatter, Clayface, Batgirl and Lucius Fox. What about you? BTW, if this thread needs to be merged with an older one, or existing one, thats fine, I just couldn't find anything that needed reviving :-) Batbrick Away! >:-)

Thanks for finding these mods, I especially like the ones to the Astrofighter. The Dropship is great too, but sorry, I can't stand that wind design. I understand SNOT, but I just hate that sideways built blocky wing, it doesn't look too sturdy either :-/ Still, great mods by Nnenn, better than the original sets for sure. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Well you know what they say, one man's garbage is another man's - Oh wait, we're talking about Megablocks aren't we? X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)

Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Lost Skulls
Batbrick replied to DoubleT's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I'm definitely stoked to see this movie, this and The Dark Knight are my two biggest must-sees. I look very much forward to the trailer, and hope that Shia doesn't become the next Jones :-X Batbrick Away! >:-) -
Andrex here with a Lego Batman Screenshot Blowout!
Batbrick replied to Andrex's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Ah, so I was half-right, I'm getting better. Sounds very "Legoish" (of course), are these studs just 1x1 rounded pieces or something? Sorry for all the questions by the way, I'm just really excited. Nothing beats the 60's series! :-D That said, Mad Hatter would be very intriguing to see, seeing as he is one of the more changed and redesigned characters in the comics, it would be interesting to see how they would adapt him. A cameo would be more than acceptable, but I won't get my hopes up. Not again. Not after expecting to get Gordon this year :'-( Still, this game is bound to be good, too early to ask I know, but do you reckon they would ever consider a sequel? Batbrick Away! >:-) -
:-D , everyone enjoyed watching Jason Todd die, they voted for it to happen! Interesting that you prefer modern stories, I like both. I'll read the great new ones, but I'll still want to read those early Ra's Al Ghul stories, especially since the Lazarus Pits have become an increasingly contrived plot device as of recent. Yeah, unfortunately for me the best availability here is Hardcover and not much else. A subscription would be great, but then all those graphic novels are so tempting.... *wub* Plus I have a lot of catching up to do, I honestly don't own that much, I read a lot, but its only recently I've realised the insatiable need to add those to my shelf :-D But like you, HC will be for special stories, mine going for The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Year One, Killing Joke (though I may just get it as part of the "Greatest Joker stories ever told" collection) and possibly Morrison's ( ;-) ) Arkham Asylum. Actually, looking back, thats quite a bit. Thats what I love about the sets, they really are a great combination of all the Batman mythos. We've got the modern, brooding Batman, the campy 60's element, heck, theres even a streak of the ridiculous 50's days. Which is brilliant really, the villains in these sets are just as deadly as they are now, but we still get a lighter touch which kids will love, and personally, so do I. Another point of interest is just how good the research on these mythos has been done. Joker has his laughing gas bombs, Scarecrow has his fear bombs. Bane surprisingly has his Venom steroids system. The Batcave has a little throwaway to the fans with the baby T-rex, obviously the miniaturised robot T-rex. Heck, they even knew that Joker's identity is a mystery and included Two-Face's real name on the Batcomputer. Theres my two points now, a little insurance for next post as well. Batbrick Away! >:-)

Andrex here with a Lego Batman Screenshot Blowout!
Batbrick replied to Andrex's topic in Culture & Multimedia
:-D , I thought you meant that. Curious how some writers just go, "off", isn't it? Oh well, it atleast makes for a laugh. Ah, that seems cool, how does one get studs? I vaguely remember smashing things for them, but then again I may still be tired :-$ That sounds great then, heres looking forward to Catwoman's whip, Penguin's umbrella tricks, Joker's laughing gas, Scarecrow's fear gas (if so that would be a fun one), and, if we are REALLY lucky, Bane's venom steroids :-D You just don't quit do you? Batzarro would be highly unlikely but hilarious. I think a Supes cameo would be great, even as just an unlockable player. Then agin, if he was a player, the game would be pretty easy unless someone had kryptonite wouldn't it? Batbrick Away! >:-) -
My custom Batman minifigures.... )
Batbrick replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Okay, I admit defeat in that part, making it a draw. We both become a bit more of a man X-D Oh, and The penguin, I just noticed that you have Montoya there, I like your choice of face for her. And I still can't get over that awesome penguin army :-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
