  1. Very nice Zero, thanks for mentioning me :-$ You've done the claws really well, much better than me, and the feet look great too. I'm just not sure about the head, could you try something else? Batbrick Away! >:-)
  2. Batbrick

    Happy B-day!

Happy Birthday Zaktan of the Shadows! I hope those batman 08 sets seem a little less sucky to you when the final pics come ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  3. I agree with pretty much everything The Penguin just said, Indy sets just aren't as great, nor as fun as the Adventurers. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  4. I wouldnt though if I were you, I dreamed we'd get Gordon, now look! :'-(
  5. I very much look forward to the next installment then. Till then: Batbrick Away! >:-)
  6. WROOOONG! *sing* For you see my pun-obsessed friend, Nightwing by itself is not only a character, but instead a title. Just as Batman is a title carried by Bruce wayne, so is Nightwing by Dick Grayson. So while Dick has appeared in the films with the title of Robin, he has yet to appear as Nightwing. For example, if i were to watch the first ten minutes of Batman Begins, then stop, would I be able to honestly say I have seen Batman? No, for a character yet to become, is not a character yet X-D Anyway. I like your Maxie Zeus as well The Penguin, those beard pieces are fantastic. The gotham celebrities are a nice touch, I see you have my second sigfig's torso. I also like Two-Face's twin bodyguards, though I think another face could work better, they seem to much like agent types. Anyway, great work overall, I very much look forward to future customs and mocs from you! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  7. Very cool. I can't wait to play as my favourite rogues, I hope they all have their special gimmicks, though Two-Face would be a bit boring since you would just have him flip a coin and go whichever way X-D I knew it! Batmobile obesesser you are! Thats great news though, just as you say the villains are as important to the mythos as Batman, so is the Batmobile. Power suits are pretty cool, seeing as it is a game afterall. That would be brilliant, I'd love an Arkham level in the vein of Miller's Arkham Asylum, but of course kid friendlier. It would be great to have a lot of rogues in one place hunting you. I love how the article mentions a dash through the Ace Chemical Plant, or killer Croc's sewers, they've definitely done their research and gone above and beyond expectations for this :'-) Do you think we'll see Two-Face or Poison Ivy in this? The game doesn't mention them, I would be sad if they were only unlockable characters, seeing as I make no attempt to hide the fact that two-Face is my favourite villain. Or should that be second favourite? (uh oh, your puns are getting to me!) Batbrick Away! >:-)
  8. Yesterday I went to work for three hours. Came home, our cousins form Bicheno on the East Coast had come for a visit, and we went bowling. I tied second with my Auntie first game, then came first the second game with three strikes and four spares, woo! :-D When I got picked up with my younger brother, our homestay student from Korea had arrived. He is staying with us for a year, but we already know him because he stayed last year. It was great to see him, and he bought me a present - the Creator Cargo Chopper! So that was a great day. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  9. Great review Stealth Hunter, a bit blurry in places but overall nice shots of the truck. It is much, much better than I expected, but i still won't get it, I have no need for more police. Thanks for the great review! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  10. Very nice and admittingly funny Dr.S, I love the use of WW2 posters as inspiration, its very evident and gives it a comedic touch. My favourite one is the "Centuries of Strength" poster, but the tank one is also great. "Crush the Enemy!" indeed.. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  11. Funny thing, my exo-force hair from the Arkham Asylum set, with Nightwing, stay on the minifigs heads as firm as any other hairpiece. It also has a longer "back" so it covers the back of the head more than it should, which is great. So thats my lucky story of recent. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  12. Sorry but thats just plain awful Brainbox, even for you! I think you should apoligise for that awful, awful pun :-P I think maybe I should get proper storage for my minifigs now though. A box gets too hard, though I'm seriously thinking of a system thats easy to find certain faces.... Batbrick Away! >:-)
  13. Thanks, I think :-P Thanks Lt. Col. Thok, I want to make a haunted house one day, but that'll have to wait. Thanks hoang, I appreciate your comments. Oh I can see a pun there! Thanks Lord of Pies, I'm glad you like it. The sloping bricks was the hard part for me, the house was easy but for a few bits and the stairs. Glad you like the story too *sweet* Thanks The Penguin. You stuff are always great as well. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  14. Its a lot better. I love the look of it, so tech-medieval-steampunk. I love the treads, and still love the basic idea of the whole thing. Its admittingly cute too! *wub* And once a great dwarf fig. Keep up the brilliant work The Penguin, your stuff is great. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  15. Good work, i like the mods. Your photograph could be a bit better though, Its hard to see the great details you've put in. I like thew extended tower, and the section on the left. However, I think it needs support, it looks like it could fall at any second. I like the armory and stable too *y* Come on Exobuilder! Luxorv! Lets beat that worthless Cyborg to victory! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  16. :-D , I thought so. Thanks for the great review Hinckley, I wonder how much it will be on S@H, seeing as Aus is probably not getting it, well, not Tas anyway. I'll be happy with a bit cheaper than Dwarf's Mine, it'd still be a better deal than the skeleton ship attack last year. Oh well. And yes, I was a little surprised be french speaking trolls that were told to keep "Rawr"ing :-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  17. :-D , fair enough. I'll probably get rid of them one day, but for the moment they're sealed in, so technically by the rules of a lego model, they don't exist. I've done a few things on part 3 too. There'll be a few more custom figs this time, only a couple of mods, and some other stuff. I've surprised myself by keeping Manbat, he's looking quite scary perched on top of Arkham there. Hows part 3 of your more-original-than-mine Bat Good Bag coming? Batbrick Away! >:-)
  18. Thanks bud! :'-) Plus I REALLY like that Robin Sub. I definitely agree. Trenchcoat is a must, and that picture you posted is a brilliant example. Though I would like him a bit less, er, frail. I would love white hair, I can't imagine why it hasn't been made. Still, I'll be happy with that or a hat, both give the same character to Gordon. I'm also hoping that Fedora goes to good use on Joker in the Tumbler set, these are still preliminary after all, remember how much Riddler's hideout changed? Next up we just need a bowler and broadbrim *wub* (Cries in pain!) NOO! Still, I find it interesting that you think the only good set is the Robin one, seeing as most consider it the weakest set. Yes we did. I guess all we can do is buy these sets (and the game ;-) ) like the fanatic Batfans we are, maybe even a multiple of the Batbuggy for me, and help make sure there is a wave 4 for Gordon and all the rest. But for now, we have Harley, one of my favourites, plus a heap of new vehicles we've been wanting (Better Robin vehicle, Tumbler, Batpod) so I still can't wait to get them all. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  19. Mine live in the Dino Attack tank set box :-D Its easy because the hole in it allows for me to just put MFs back in easily. Of course many are on display like my castle guys, aquaraiders, city dwellers, batman figs, vikings, interactive apocalypse, and others. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  20. Well I think its quite good, but the almost childish inclusion of "Build your own electric chair for serial killers kids!" and of course characters bring it down. There are however some great mocs based on horrible events that shouldn't really be frown upon. One such incident was Yoda's example, another was the controversial 9/11 attacks in lego. These things are MEANT to shock us, just as the real event does. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  21. The new Creator Cargo Chopper! Such a beautiful set! *wub* Expect a review tomorrow! I got it from our homsestay student from Korea, he's so great! Batbrick Away! >:-)
  22. :-D , great comic Hinckley, I think this is the first time Bianca has actually died! Love the trolls "Rawr"ing, though I did notice Bianca called Gavin a "Firend" in there somewhere :-P Batbrick Away! >:-)
  23. The movie doesn't contain Harley Quinn, so it wouldn't be based off it. You mean in dark grey? A grey suit is already released, a dark grey suit on the other hand *wub* You mean three sets, one is a Robin set. Still, I'm glad you have some enthusiasm, I really like these sets despite the lack of new figs. Batbrick Away! >:-)
  24. Ooh! Sorry I missed this Dr. Sinister, my apologies. I am a big fan of antique-looking photography, you've done a excellent job here, especially with the grainy look of some. The rather faded, toned ones are great too, though I like the in-action shots best, makes it seem more "real". Great job as always, consider the expectations for your next endeavor heightened! X-D Batbrick Away! >:-)
  25. Go for it! Batbrick Away! >:-)
