Ha, the blame train will have full gear speed dedicated to it, keeping this thread relatively clean. -

By any chance did you ever happen to have a Land Rover Defender? As soon as I discovered there is no 4-speed transmission in MercG I felt something just got off of my chest because that dangerously designed 4-speed gearbox would cause so much pain and frustration among us- the fans. I felt relieved. Had the Defender not that 4-speed gearbox, it would have given so much pleasure and satisfaction. I have two Defenders and I am perfectly happy with a 2-speed Hi-Low gearbox in them. Ha, one thing could have done instead that is implementing the H-shaped 4-speed gearbox (that Sariel designed and later many implemented in MOCs) just under the console where the DNR and Hi/Lo gearbox are located in G500. I am rather interested to see how the diff locks suspension system and body-chassis rigidity work in this upcoming set. That 4-speed gearbox the Defender had was just a very bold move by the designers from Lego. The chassis was not a perfect fit for it. Scale matters. The 20t and 12t double bevel gears were later replaced by the new 12t and 20t gears by @kbalage to see if it improves the situation. It could not. Similar gearbox in much compact form factor was later implemented by @gyenesvi in his Jeep Bruiser 42110 MOC and it worked really well in that crawler (minus the u-joints). Now continue moaning and whining 🙏 -

Yeah. Also the inital experiences from the builder community (both casual and experienced bears). One thing is for sure; building it will be challanging (to different extent) for the casual bears -

So, are you telling that we, the members of Eurobricks forums, delivered rumors and produced nonsenses for the last nine page of this thread? Be careful when you are talking that way that even if it is pointed lightheartedly. No, I am not even going to respond to your (or anyone in your defense) reply to this post if you decide to do so. -

Guys, based on the batch of pictures that was found yesterday I have noticed there is a gap (circled in green) between two of those three parts (beams/lift-arms maybe). I checked the other pictures and there was no gap. Assuming it is the same build used during the photo session- is it possible that the gap was created when the set was forced in its right side to flex its suspension system as pictured? -

And that's (the ones you perceived) a great one. They could easily have been lazy and slapped stickers there too! -

Yes, they are. Aleh talked about the red "bar" ones slapped on the black panels positioned above the mudguard ones. But then again, complaining about them is nit picking. We can see many brick-built interior and exterior solutions in this model and that's a relief. It puts 42126 aka the Ford Raptor to shame. -

Perfectly said. Agree with all of it. And yes, yet to see how its drivetrain and transmission turn out. Hope we are not far away. -

Leave him. Since the leak of the image till now he has been faithfully doubting every aspect of this set- maybe for all the reasons he perceives as right/valid. Let the set come, all will be clear through the reviews and long-term user experiences. Meanwhile we will prolly be gonna see more detailed angles and sneak-peaks along with initial reviews. Another thing, I just hope unlike Daytona SP3 it won't have a botched manual. With a premium price tag everything should be as much finished for a set like this- from packaging to the end of building experience. -
Just out of curiosity, if you happen to buy both the colours, will you be making a MOC? Any plans? Looks like set is going to be a very favorite one among the MOC community. Pow, why were you quoting me on this one alongside the other guy? 🤔I was talking directly to Maboo and no, I was not born in the 70's 🤷🏻♂️🙄

Forget it. Everyone wants everyone else to be as much ChatGPT/Gemini (or any other AI creatures) as possible. Besides, you need a sarcasm font exclusive for you (no sarcasm 🤷♂️) Now on to the discussion 👀 I think I am one of those few who liked the DBG one more than the white but, honestly the car is more about functions/features. That is what I am excited more about.

God! Even the pic of McLaren Supercar is out! Where are ya 42177?!? This is one of those few sets whose release is less than a month away (if the leaked informations are correct) and people still wishing and speculating stuffs
